I would say the fact you are reading a 2020 Fantasy Baseball Week 3 anything is a win. Multiple times a day it seems like nothing makes sense, and that’s just in the world of baseball. Will St. Louis ever play a full schedule during the week, or is it just going to be seven inning double headers from here on out? Yelich hit a home run but it was the inside the park variety? Cardboard cutouts of fans come to life on Fox? So in spite of Covid we may not have school in school but we definitely still have baseball. You can find last week’s list here.
Here are some of the movers for this week, followed by the list:
Mike Trout – Sometimes a man becomes a first time Dad and is bleary eyed and beaten down for a couple months. Sometimes a man becomes a first time Dad and he’s better than his best self ever was. Mike Trout has put all his worries and concerns behind him and is the Number 1 guy for the foreseeable future.
Fernando Tatis Jr. – He’s killing it, and on one of the Top 3 run scoring teams in the league. Hey San Diego, looks like you’ve made it. Well, your offense anyway.
Eloy Jimenez – Sympathy vote for giving up Yelich’s inside the park homer. Fine, he’s good, happy now?
Matt Olson – So there, now do you guys see what I’m saying?! Must be the mustache right?
Joey Votto – Old man Votto ain’t done yet, not by a long shot. The lack of fans and isolationism must remind him of Canada or something, because he looks right at home.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. & Bo Bichette – So far it’s not working out for them. Maybe they really hated being in AAA and it brings back bad memories even thinking about going back there or something.
Paul Goldschmidt – It’s not him, it’s his team. They just can’t take the Covid rules seriously!
Tommy Pham & Trent Grisham – The San Diego boys are booming. I mean it’s just not fair, they get to live in beautiful sunny perfect San Diego and have a great offense?
Ryan Braun – Another old man, but this one’s looking old and barely hanging on to the Top 100. He’s on the IL and if Yelich doesn’t pick it up soon there could be trouble brewing in the Top 5.
Byron Buxton – If he doesn’t start getting more playing time it might be curtains for him and the high hopes for his potential.

Mercado 59? He isn’t even good enough to crack the lineup.
Stanton is on IL
Buxton has 3 dingers in his last 3 games!
See, things change fast in 2020! He could be moving back up the list with any kind of consistency.
Anyone have a thought on this deal?
Kris Bryant/Josh Bell for Rhys Hoskins/Stephen Strasburg
Interesting, what is your league scoring?
I’m not too high on Josh Bell, but he could end up going on a hotstreak that makes me look like a big dumb idiot.
I say no, unless you really need the pitching. IMO this year Stras is not a number 1 unless you have nothing else.
Kyle lewis?
One more good week and he might crack the list.
What is this list? For this couple months or what? No disrespect but it’s just plain bad.
All opinions welcome :)
C. Santana is available in my league. My current 1B and CI are Gurriel and Chapman. Any advice?
I’d rather have Santana than many others, but he’s too close to Gurriel and Chapman to drop either of them for him. Based on matchups and the craziness of this year depth is always good so pick him up for a bench piece if you can.
I think a Top 150 Hitters might make more sense for the site. Essentially, all these players are owned in every league, so this functions as a trade value chart.
At 150, we could get your impressions on how hot waiver-wire pickups and/or prospects stack up with our owned players. Thanks.
In a season like this 250 might not be enough for all the movement! But there are plenty of other options here that can give you what you’re looking for, just click around :)
