Ya know when you don’t know where you’re going in NYC and the taxis take you for a whole ride? “I’d like to go to see the Empire State Building.” “Right-o, champ! Tourist, huh?” “Yes, I am very happy to be in your great city.” Boom, he’s taking you from Chinatown to LaGuardia. You’re gonna be in Queens at his cousin’s quinceañera for four hours before you get where you’re going. So, that journey to the Empire State Building? That’s my feelings this year on Gavin Williams (7 IP, 2 ER, 4 baserunners, 11 Ks, ERA at 3.81). My feelings on him have taken a whole ride. I started with, “Nah, I’m good,” because his command last year (4.5 BB/9) was so hideous, and his strikeouts (9.3 K/9) couldn’t sustain them. Then this year, with each start, I’ve traveled to a different borough, metaphorically, finally landing in the Staten Island of feelings as he now sits at 10.6 K/9, 3 BB/9, 3.17 xFIP. There’s a lot of starters who are exceeding expectations but Gavin Williams is one of the few who is actually a buy low, and I actually now love him as I look at the window to the Meat Packing District. Anyway, here’s what else I saw yesterday in fantasy baseball:
Gabriel Arias – 1-for-4 and his 2nd homer in four games. I wouldn’t say it’s the age of Arias, but it might be the week of.
Chase DeLauter – 1-for-4 and his 9th homer, hitting .279, and his 2nd homer in four games. DeLauter might be getting the juice back together. “Getting the juice back together” is a common expression for getting hot. Learn something once in a while!
Connor Prielipp – Hit the IL with a blister. “Somebody doesn’t pee on their hands.” That’s Moises Alou.
Bailey Ober – 5 IP, 1 ER, 4 baserunners, 5 Ks, ERA at 4.40, as he was activated from the IL. Hmm, now I think the Prielipp blister has a bridge in Kansas to sell me. Well, whatever, Ober does nothing for me, for fantasy or otherwise.
Royce Lewis – 2-for-4, 2 runs and his 9th homer. Studies need to be conducted in Stamford or Davos or somewhere that sounds smart and research what on earth happened to Royce Lewis.
Munetaka Murakami – Will be activated today. Absolutely called that shizz. I said once Okamoto passed him in homers he was going to speed-run his rehab back the majors, and sho’ nuff! Wait, that’s a different Japanese player.
Aaron Judge – Will have new imaging done during the All-Star Break. Are they worried about too much exposure to radiation? I’d have my star player being imaged daily. Let’s see some progress!
Ben Rice – 2-for-4, 3 runs, 5 RBIs and his 27th and 28th homer. Twice-a-HRoni!
Austin Wells – 1-for-4, 2 runs and his 5th homer. Guess what he’s hitting. Go ahead! You’ll surely get within thirty points of his average and, yes, I called you Shirley. Bzzt! Wrongo! He’s hitting .151. Anyone would be hitting 151, if they were hitting that poorly.
Junior Caminero – 1-for-4 and his 27th homer, hitting .277. One day I’d like to feel the joys of Juco Loco. Instead, I’m Mr. Four-Year Smart Guy with freakin’ Eugenio!
Drew Rasmussen – 2 1/3 IP, 6 ER, ERA at 3.26. Quit ‘mussen with my feelings.
Mark Vientos – Suffered a fractured hand on a HBP by Wacha. Finally, Wacha does something good. Vientos’s out for weeks, at least, and that moved A.J. Ewing to 2nd base. [gets out intrigued crayon] Color me up, crayon!
Juan Soto – 1-for-2, 2 runs and his 21st homer, hitting .297. He has four homers in July. [checking calendar] That’s nine days!
Sean Manaea – 7 IP, 2 ER, 7 baserunners, 6 Ks, ERA at 4.56. Don’t trust him, don’t think anyone does so not earth-shattering news there, but Streamonator loved this one because it was a good matchup. That’s about it.
Lane Thomas – 1-for-4 and his 7th homer. Someone’s suppressing Tolbert-mania! You think we’re gonna do Lane-mania? Lania?! Not happening! Stay in your Lane! Though, Lane does have two homers in the past week and won’t be in this afternoon’s Buy column, but could be hot. Ya been notified!
Bobby Witt Jr. – 1-for-4 and his 13th homer. Joys de Witt are never-ending with The Ropers!
Michael Wacha – 4 2/3 IP, 6 ER, ERA at 3.77. Fozzie Bear, “Wacha, Wacha, sucka!” Whoa, harsh Fozzie.
Randy Arozarena – 1-for-3, 2 runs and his 10th homer, hitting .287. Wonder if the Rice Bowl or anyone on the M’s looks at Josh Naylor (2 more steals, 17th and 18th) and thinks, “Biscuit pants sure can’t run, but he sure can steal bags.”
Dominic Canzone – 2-for-5, 2 RBIs and his 15th homer, hitting .269. I’m so psyched he’s breaking out. This must be what childbirth feels like. “Mr. Canzone, I’m your mommy!”
Bryce Miller – 5 IP, 4 ER, 13 baserunners, 3 Ks, ERA at 2.18. Marlins are a freakin’ buzzsaw all of a sudden (well, since the beginning of June).
Owen Caissie – Hit the IL with a hamstring strain. Rece Hinds was recalled, i.e., a Rece-call on Hinds, the number 57 was misplaced on bottles; people are complaining they’re banging the side of the jar and seeing no movement.
Griffin Conine – 3-for-4, 2 runs and his 4th homer. They’re giving out home runs to nepo babies now? Ess em dee aitch!
Jesus Luzardo – 7 IP, 0 ER, 4 baserunners, 11 Ks, ERA at 3.51. No one scares me more than Luzardo. Saw Obsession and Backrooms in a double feature the other day. Nothing compared to Luzardo.
Brady Singer – 7 1/3 IP, 1 ER, 5 baserunners, 5 Ks, ERA at 4.72. Cincy put their humidor on extra suck. Streamonator couldn’t even get me to start Singer.
Framber Valdez – 7 IP, 1 ER, 3 hits, zero walks, 9 Ks, ERA at 4.10. Still don’t trust Framber, and this was an easy matchup. Three worst road teams are A’s, Phils and Jays. Yeah, last two surprised me too.
Jake Rogers – 1-for-1 and his 3rd homer, and 2nd homer in two games. He won’t be in this afternoon’s Buy column, because A) He’s here now. B) He’s a walrus. C) There’s no C.
Brandon Nimmo – 2-for-4, 2 runs and a slam (9) and legs (4). Nimmo found one!
Wyatt Langford – 1-for-5, 1 RBI as he was activated from the IL. “Oh, crap, here we go again.” That’s his quads.
Justin Foscue – 2-for-3, 2 RBIs and his 7th homer, 2nd homer in three games. Rangers love developing these zero power, zero speed, good average guys, and Foscue fits the bill. Though, clearly he’s hot right now.
Ezequiel Duran – 1-for-4, 2 RBIs and his 8th homer, and 2nd homer in four games. Elias Sports Bureau said, “With his eighth homer, he finally has more homers than eligible positions.” Adding, “We didn’t say that.”
Reid Detmers – 4 IP, 5 ER, ERA at 4.39. Shame he can’t be, like, normal.
Manny Machado – 2-for-3 and his 19th homer. [adjusts tinfoil cap] Has someone done the math on his batting average? Because it doesn’t seem possible it’s still below .200.
Nolan Arenado – 1-for-4 and his 11th homer. Hey, ‘member Rip Taylor? The guy who used to throw flowers on the floor where he walked? Yeah, I bought one of his toupees on eBay! Come here and check it out over by this open window–NOOOOO!!! Torenado!
Casey Schmitt – 2-for-4, 2 runs, 2 RBIs and his 18th homer. For the first time this year, someone asked in the comments about dropping Schmitt. I think they got him going again. Thank you, stranger.
Bryce Eldridge – 2-for-3 and his 8th homer. Every day people ask about picking up Eldridge and, meh, it’s fine. He’s your basic corner infidel in a 12-team league or deeper. Might be special some day, but hasn’t shown it.
Willy Adames – 1-for-5, 2 RBIs and his 15th homer. Great, he’s about to get hot, then get cold during the break. My luck!
Seiya Suzuki – 3-for-4, 2 RBIs and a slam (15) and legs (1), 2nd homer in two games. We’ve seen these kind of runs from him before — I Seiya, and I like ya. Just hope he stays healthy. He said he was eating 100 bananas a day. (Not a joke.) Actually, his translator said it. Ya know what would be funny? If MLB players’ translators just made up some shizz. “How were you seeing the ball, Seiya?” “Seiya says, ‘He wishes to pork your mom.'”
Tyler O’Neill – 1-for-3 and his 6th homer, and three homers in two games. I hate that he came in as a pinch-hitter on Wednesday and was pinch-hit for on Thursday, but clearly he’s swinging a hot bat.
Trevor Rogers – 6 IP, 1 ER, 7 baserunners, 4 Ks, ERA at 4.48. Currently, in a nice groove that is rosterable, but his underlying numbers are hilariously bad.
Matt Olson – 1-for-3, 2 runs and his 25th homer. 10 more to go! (Bro’s gonna breeze through my preseason 35-homer projection.)
Mike Yastrzemski – 1-for-3, 2 runs, 4 RBIs and his 6th homer. Carl’s Jr. Jr. hit a grand slam off Dennis Santana, which you know if you’re chasing Pirates’ saves and I feel bad for you, son. I got 99 problems but for Pirates saves I got Mason.
Jim Jarvis – 3-for-5, 2 RBIs and his 1st homer. You know Jim Jarvis, he was a 1970’s NWA jobber, who used to get housed by Harley Race. He’s also the Braves’ current shortstop. Um, okay. Let’s see, in Triple-A, he went 6/32/.313 with a 13.2 BB% and 15.8 K% in 297 ABs, but he’s 25 and assumption is he’s not much of anything outside of steals for NL-Only.
Bryce Elder – 4 IP, 3 ER, ERA at 4.12. Braves must’ve been happy to win this game, because it seems like they’re starting Elder in games they want to forfeit.
Bryan Reynolds – 1-for-4 and his 14th homer. After he hits a home run, he should return to the dugout and have a robe draped over him like James Brown with a bedazzled Mr. Excitement on the robe’s back.
Jake Mangum – 4-for-5, 3 RBIs and a slam (2) and legs (18), hitting .311, as he hits leadoff. He will be in this afternoon’s Buy column, because he’s been hot, and kinda just good all season for some stats (SBs and BA).
Esmerlyn Valdez – 1-for-4 and his 7th homer, hitting .293. That’s seven homers in 25 games. Not to be a total fanwaggoner for Pittsburgh because I enjoy fries on a sandwich, but their lineup is not bad and The Magician has big power.
Mitch Keller – 3 IP, 3 ER, ERA at 5.14. Dude should be put out to pasture. Let Mitch go roam somewhere with Zac Gallen and Colin Rea.
Patrick Sandoval – 4 1/3 IP, 1 ER as he was activated from the IL for the first time in two years after Tommy John surgery. This game was televised on NESN and on QVC, as the Red Sox GM Breslow held a live auction to see if they could trade Sandoval. No takers yet, but he did sell a dozen hand towels.
Caleb Durbin – 1-for-4, 2 RBIs and his 9th homer. Funny thing (not funny) happens when a guy gets hot. Y’all go crazy for them, then they go 0-for-4 once and you’re like, should I drop him?
Logan Henderson – 5 1/3 IP, 3 ER, 4 baserunners, 4 Ks, ERA at 3.18, as he was activated. You know I love me some Logan Henderson, but his rehab starts were janky and he seems like he’s still getting back into form. I would hold him, but I haven’t seen anything to give me much confidence yet.
Jake Bauers – 2-for-4, 2 runs, 3 RBIs and his 17th homer, hitting .268. Because I like to torture myself, I went to look at how much higher Bauers is than Vlad Jr. on the Player Rater. Thirteen dollars of difference! That’s the difference between Jose Ramirez and Ryan Rolison! Put a stake through my heart! I am an energy vampire!
Brice Turang – 2-for-5, 2 runs, 2 RBIs and a slam (13) and legs (15), hitting .269. Just thought of how I called him the new Treat Urner and named him Bricet Turang. Only issue is, I can’t remember if I wrote it or it’s just something I thought, and that got me thinking about how the next 20 years of Razzball is gonna be hilarious with me being like, “I think I said this, did I say this?”
Kyle Harrison – Dealing with elbow soreness. If he didn’t have a short start on Wednesday, I’d be like, “Oh, I know this impression! It’s Dave Roberts pretending Blake Snell and Tyler Glasnow are only healthy for the playoffs,” but, no, this doesn’t seem like that. We are not the fortunate ones.
Jordan Walker – 1-for-4, 3 RBIs and his 22nd homer, and 2nd homer in four games. Announced he would be participating in the Home Run Derby. Sweet, nothing can go wrong with a guy who took two years to fix his swing. How about he swings a fungo bat with his right arm and a sledgehammer with his left. Now, Walker’s gonna come out of the break hitting 500-foot pop-ups to the 2nd baseman. Hashtag stop the Derby! No on cares about the Derby anymore! Or, I guess, since you asked, we need some revamping of the Derby. Put the outfield fences on carts and have them move in and out during the Derby, put quicksand in the batter’s box, have some baseballs be mangoes. Stuff like that!
THERE’S A NEW POST FOR FOLLOWUPS FOR ME
12 team h/h redraft points
Which side
deGrom/Witt or C Sanchez/Neto
12 team H2H league – Thoughts on trading my Muncy for Vesia. OBP and AvG are separate cats and Saves and Holds separate cats.
Outside of Muncy I have Jung, Karros, and Antonacci who can play 3b. For holds guys I have Hodlerman, Bazardo, Yennier, Sabrowski.
My offense is very strong where two of those three 3b are often but on my bench or utility when not at 3b.
I also have Tyron Guerrero for RP
Carl’s Jr rant – why can’t Hardee’s which is the sister company of Carl’s Jr. get the fantastic steak and egg breakfast burrito? I lived on those things for the 15 years that I lived out in California.
But here in the Midwest, nobody knows how to make a good breakfast burrito. Hardee’s has two on the menu, a loaded breakfast burrito and a sausage, egg and cheese burrito. But neither of them hold a candle to my beloved Carl’s Jr. steak and egg breakfast burrito. Damn do I miss those things.
Oh and In-n-Out also. They recently opened several locations in Nashville and I might just have to take a road trip for a double double.
/rant over
happiest friday!
please rank for bench bat
JungHoo, Adell, Dansby
spanks for the mammaries
Adell, Dansby
Can the Orioles please announce TJ Surgery for Helsley already so I can drop him! Or announce they’re trying PRP so I can drop him for stupidity. They’re really dragging this out.
Prolly can lose him anyway
Been following your advice for almost ten years. Just wanna say thanks.
No problem
10 team AL 5×5, currently in first place and get 3 guys back from DL this week (soderstrom, Jeffers and Grayson)..per league rules I need to drop one player from my roster…..who to drop. Grayson, Ryan Johnson or Jeff Hoffman….dont need saves but Hoffman might have enough value as MIRP…Ryan Johnson been looking better and Grayson been a bust….who to drop?
All kinds of meh…Johnson
CJ Abrams and Jake Bauers for Gunnar and Kyle Tucker. Close?
CJ
Close tho, could go either way
Hi. Carrigg or McCarthy? Karros or Dubon?
McCarthy — Karros
Thoughts on N Gonzales as an upgrade over Bazzana ROS in a redraft? Dude’s still hitting .310. Thanks!
Sure, go for it
Please rank, Webb, Beeter, Taylor. Thanks Grey
There’s like six Taylors and maybe 4 Webbs
Looking for a relief pitcher, sorry.
Taylor, Webb
So, you know, I am the guy who tossed out Juco Loco the other day. Grey and those three commenters, I am so honored, it seems to be sticking! I showed my own cougs my og comment and then tried to show her the other follow up references in the days since, but she had left the room shaking her head. Anywhoo, let me know who to talk to about the royalties and such!
Haha, you ain’t get the royalty checks? damn, this new mailman!
Apples/oranges time. Happ is my bench bat when JRod and Bux return. Happ’s value not as strong in this league that counts singles, doubles, Ks among its ten cats.
Yes or no on moving him for:
A. McLean
B. Yesavage
C. Cavalli
Also, you buying into a big second half from Hoerner? If so, move B Lowe for him!
Thanks
They’re all fair — Hoerner is steals, Lowe is HRs
Liam Hicks or Ivan Herrera for C ROS?
I’m assuming I’d drop one of those to activate Murakami, or other options to drop are Jarren, Bregman, or Soder.
Ivan
Got it. Thanks!
No problem
I got to say, I love the movie comparisons to players, so Luzardo makes you feel more scared than when you watched Obsession, what pitcher makes you feel more of “that/those thing/things” you felt when you watched Hereditary. Not necessarily scared but you just doesn’t feel right?
Haha, that movie ruined me for months
that was a great comparison, Spot On!
Jazz for Riley Green if I need 2B helps seems like an obvious trade to accept? Other owner did mention thinking about my Soto for his Ohtani (hitter only), should I counter and go for the Green and Soto for Jazz and Ohtani or is that just getting greedy?
Works for me…Prefer Ohtani trade
Which side of this trade would you want to be on — Logan Gilbert and Ivan Herrera for Ben Rice?
Rice, it’s fair
Looking to sell high on Rogers? Hes been on quite the run
Sure
Hey Grey, i know these guys give different stats/cats, but in a vacuum can you rank these guys for me plz: Seiya, Naylor, Josh Bell, H Bolte
You did
my hitting staff is stacked who should i drop in a shallow h2h cat league when ronald acuna jr eventually comes back.
A. luis garcia jr, eugenio suarez, bo bichette?
B. alternatively i can try to get a trade for 2 to make space. but my league has stopped wanting to make trades with me because they keep losing out.
A. Eugenio B. ok
Keep talking about him like that and Luzardo’s going to show up in your bedroom crying “I feel like you don’t love me as much as I do!”
You absolutely called Murakami
Haha, yes!
Saying “trying to pork” is a real throwback. Takes me right to Cathy Moriarity in Neighbors. “Vic tried to pork me.”
guessing you might have that reference.
Haha, I actually worked with Cathy
tremendous
Any reason to be any more excited about Waldschmidt this time than last time? Could drop Lara, Ramos, or Bolte for him
Lose Lara
Keeper League – need to drop 2 of guys to make some roster space for guys off IL – who would you cut?
Sam Antonacci
Chandler Simpson
Zack Gelof
Jung Hoo Lee
Isaac Paredes
Luis Lara
Thanks!
Lara, and do you need steals? Simpson? Is Gelof hurt? Do you need AVG with Lee?
I forgot to bring this up in the comments when it happened, but since we’re talking Bryces here I’ll lay it on ya. On June 27th, Bryce Elderidge hit a double off of Bryce Elder. It was also National Bingo Day. The universe did not implode.
Haha, that we know of
Carrigg or Mangum for SB? Its gotta be mangum right..?
Mangums savant is brutal i might have to roll with carrigg and assume the sb eventually happen.
Mangum is a 40-steal guy tho…guess depends on how much you need the SBs
For a second, I thought you wrote it’s gonna be a Magnum night…lol…Yes, Mangum
I’ve stubbornly held sheehan in one legaue. I have Henderson who just was activated. Who do you prefer ros? Qs format.
You mentioned holding Henderson, that’s kinda what I am doing with sheehan. Pick some starts, etc.. Sheehan’s last one vs SD was another test for me to endure watching him labor through 4.1 innings (96 pitches) and it could’ve been worse. Thanks
Henderson
In a points league based on efficiency and not giving up HR, should I take the chance on Flaherty tonight? His $5.30 on SON isn’t the worst thing in the world, but I can already see visions of back-to-back HR hit by the Phillies, subsequently crushing my night.
Seems fine, though I don’t trust him in general
Good morning Grey 20 team standard roto would you keep Yordan at 40$ or Max Meyer at 7$ for next year and if you choose Yordan would you trade Max for Sonny Gray for the second half. I lead in all pitching categories and most hitting categories as well. Thanks for your help.
Yordan, sure, Gray
Drop Taylor Ward for Canzone?
Yes
Hey Grey! Who’s your first drop in a 12 teamer between Will Warren, Roupp, and Brandon Young? (I would only play any of these guys if their matchups look good per SON).
Feels like Young or Warren?
Young
Great recap, Grey! Would you prefer the returning Ryan Waldschmidt or the up&down production of Heliot Ramos as a 5th OF? Thanks & enjoy your Friday!
Ramos, thanks!
Hey Grey!
Yes!!!!! The HR Derby is garbage. It is the ‘Kiss of Death.’ A curse, I tell you. I hate it. It seems that he winner always ends up sucking right after (or gets injured). Dunno if its true, but it sure seems like it.
AND…. I have JacCag, JucoLoco, and Walker all on my team! All participating! <sad crying emoji>.
Next, with my luck, O’Hearn and Turang will go in! (also rostered on my team).
Please call a prayer circle, and reverse the curse! (maybe throw VladJr in! It might jinx the whole thing in reverse!)
Haha, I know!
Hey to the Hey, Grey!!!
What’s our take on Garrett Mitchell? Anytime you or other Razzball writers bring him up, there’s usually just a “Mitchell Report” joke and not much of a take on him. I mean, that’s good stuff, but I wanna know if I should value him over guys like Cags or in-Coors-Carrigg.
Also, you’ve been out on Maikel Garcia for months now. I’m still hanging on with an IL spot because I love the position availability, so I’m hoping for him to turn it around. Would I be better off with Nick Gonzalez? (I could use the help with BA).
Lurrrrrveya!!!!
Think Mitchell’s better suited for a shampoo joke, but guess I’m different…Cags, Carrigg in Coors, Mitchell
Yes, Gonzales — lurves
You, sir. Are a gentleman and a scholar (of fantasy baseball). Thank you.
No problem
Hi Grey,
good morning!
Got offerred Schawarber + Chase Burns for my batter Ohtani?
3 keeper league?
thanks,
Chris
forgot to mention, other team has Skubal…. so i push for Skubal instead of Bruns? i doubt he will give me Skubal.
thanks for the insight.
Skubal’s obviously better
Sounds fair, I wouldn’t
for skubal and schwarber you wouldnt?? or only if Burns you wouldnt?
thanks
Skubal and Schwarber? I would
Good thing i finally got sick of Framber and dropped him before this matchup!
Now he pitches a freaking Gem! uggggggggggggggggggg
I don’t trust him either, but now that i have dropped, he will dominate the second half.
Have Rasmussen and Bryce Miller, both with a shitty day and the guy I dropped rolls to his best performance of the season!
Okay
Aloha Grey!
Have a great trip my brother!
Couple of no no’s
1.Dont wear your shoes to the beach
2.Dont hang out at the hotel swimming pool. Go to the Beach!!
3.Get in the water. nice and warm
4.Ask the concierge where to get the best Mai Tai’s. Go there
5.Eat local food. “Plate lunch”, Poke, Sashimi, Shaved Ice
6.Wear sunscreen-Hawaiian sun will cook you up
7.Enjoy your time and Shaka Brah!
P.s “He wishes to pork your mom.’”
Lol Best line in a while
Shaka brah! Thanks! Appreciate you!
Would you pick up Junk for open spot? Lost Woodruff.
Sure
Henderson walked a guy and hit a batter and then replaced in the 6th. Reliever came in and gave up a three run homer. Other than that,Henderson looked solid. It was one of those. That’s all.
Gotcha
Three additions to the 100 Best Fantasy Starts list yesterday. Williams earned his 5th entry despite giving up 2 runs. Will be knocked out soon, though. Luzardo makes his second appearance and Valdez his first. The Phillies now own 8 spots; Cleveland has 7:

11 Cristopher Sanchez May 16 @PIT
14 Gavin Williams May 22 @PHI

Excellent stuff, Vin!
Bryce Eldridge’s underlying stats say he’s gonna be a monster. Horrific analysis
Talking about right now for redrafts, horrific comment
POINTS LEAGUE. KEEP FOREVER. Who is your drop? All May answer…
Grayson Rod, Bieber, Waldrep, Merrill Kelly, Bubba Chandler.
JJ
Drops (this order)
Bieber
Kelly
Cheers,
Ante
All? Bieber, Grayson
I have Crochet and Fried on IL, so plenty of room to drop more, once they are activated. Bieber seems the best drop for now. Thanks Grey!
No problem
Sir Grey!
Hope all is well and hope you are rocking the cool Belgium away jersey today!
Is Logan Webb a guy to trade for in an effort to bolster a staff including, Ryan, McLean, Grey, Martin, Greene, Henderson and Lopez (and Snell on IR). I can give up a draft pick for next season to the Webb owner but SF is such a mess and I’m not sure it makes a difference. I was thinking of a 12/13 round pick for next season or is that not enough..
Thanks!
Bas from Holland
Haha, thanks! Yeah, I’d trade for him with a 12th round pick, I don’t know if it’s enough, gotta ask the other person
Grey, Yordan was recently hot, but he has gone 0-4 and 0-5 the last two games and is now cold by his standards.
Do I cut him for Jake Mangum, who is hot.
Please advise.
Good to explore options, but prolly hold
lol I couldn’t resist, had to take your Durbin blurb bait.
Keep up the great work sir!
Ha, No problem
definitely drop him
Logan Henderson gave up 3 runs for the first time in his career in the majors last night.
Misi gave up 5 earned in 5 innings on 7/2. The other 17 starts? 12 quality starts. The other 5 starts? All were 5+ innings with the following earned runs; 0,1,1,2,3. Straight up dealing!
Blowing out of proportion what I said and ignoring the part where I say I like him and to hold
Not disrespecting you, oh great one. Merely an observation, having watched the Brew Crew last night. The announcers stated that, and I was surprised, even though it’s a small sample size!
all good, John John
Looking for advice on a dynasty trade. 12 team OPS league. Is sending Kyle Tucker and Jesus Luzardo for Sebastian Walcott and Roch Cholowsky fine?
Yes
Zach Gelof great catch but man….dang.
Yeah
Would you drop any of the following to activate Logan Henderson: Sandy Alcantara, Eury Perez, Gavin Williams, Framber Valdez, Shota Imanaga?
Framber
O’Neill has 4 hits in his last 5 games (11 ABs). But they’re all HRs.
Crazy
Grey!!
Love you, man. Great write-up.
a) Nice save from Kittredge, because Kittredge farm remembers…
https://youtu.be/oR2efoCp59I?is=FykR1ty1AIv0TrPZ
b) I vote Foscue for Governor of Texas. In his case and the case of McKinstry gotta use Occam’s razor. They’re both en fuego.
c) Started Henderson last night, got the win and WHIP help, could’ve been better on ERA but that’s Patrick’s fault. All told good first start from the IL from Logan.
d) Have a nice weekend.
Cheers,
Ante
Thanks! C. Nice D. You too!
Hey!
Would you rather Mead or Canzone?
Also is Gelof a drop in 12 team leagues? Love me some A’s bats so don’t want to just yet.
Canzone
Yes
10tm 6×6 OBP QS Keep 4.
1. Are any of Jared Jones, Ronaldo Lopez, or Spoat an upgrade to my staff?
Bradish
Peralta
Shota
King
Tolle
Henderson
Handcock
Roupp
Drohan
2.Trade Lindor for Bryce Miller? I have Neto.
3. There is no 3.
Thanks!
The Grey post is up for the evening which means it is my bedtime. Reading these before sleep is how I had that nightmare I drafted Dinelson Lamet #1 overall in a league and everyone laughed at me.
Haha
I always go against Seiya during these runs. Every year. Lll. Also, ask Craig Mish why the Marlins are calling up Hines and not Alderman. Make it make sense. Keep up the great work Grey.
Lol* Hinds* eh I try.
Thanks!
Manny’s putting together a 2012 Adam Dunn tribute season.
Haha, I didn’t sign up for that
