I drafted MacKenzie Gore year after year. You could tell because the seasons changed like in Notting Hill after she leaves him. The only difference is MacKenzie Gore didn’t stand in front of me in the preseason and say, “I’m just a boy standing in front of handsome man asking him to draft me again.” Unless I was out that day. That would be embarrassing. Imagine Notting Hill’s entire plot hinged on Hugh Grant being at home when she showed up to plead for his love, and he was out getting milk. I’d like to see the outtakes of movies where the character is just running errands. “Freakin’ love that scene in King Kong when he carries her to the top of the Empire State Building, but have you seen the scene where they go to the grocery store to get milk and Kong waits in the car? It’s also very cool.” So, MacKenzie Gore (5 IP, 0 ER, 1 hit, 2 walks, 9 Ks, ERA at 2.76) is being a smoke show. Just unadulterated filth so far: 13.8 K/9, 2.8 BB/9, 2.01 xFIP and pitching even better than his already elite ERA. Like I unconditionally trust Brewers starters, I might start doing that with Rangers starters too. It’s mostly the park. I liked Gore every other year, then he goes to the best place for a pitcher and I get out [smacks head] Dumb! Why’d I have to go out for milk? Anyway, here’s what else I saw yesterday in fantasy baseball:
Cole Winn – 1 IP, 0 ER, ERA at 0.00. [sees in box score Winn got save] Sweet, Keaton! I knew Ryan Walker–Oh, it’s the Rangers. Every reliever but Robert Garcia will get saves in Texas. Someone named R. Garcia in Baltimore even has a save!
Victor Robles – Hit the IL with a pectoral strain. Connor Joe was recalled. That should answer Connor Joe questions of where’d he come from and where’d he go. Tacoma is where’d he come from, Connor Joe.
Bryan Woo – 5 IP, 1 ER, 7 baserunners, 2 Ks, ERA at 1.50. Lowercase Woo!
Shane Smith – Sent to the minors. White Sox sent down their Opening Day starter in less than two weeks. First time this year we have a secondhand demotion, and it’s never not off-putting — double negatives be damned! Feel partially responsible because I liked him a decent amount coming into the year. Crazy thing is, in his Tuesday start, his change was the best pitch by Stuff+ for the entire day of games for all pitchers. He also couldn’t locate anything else, so alas.
Kyle Bradish – 5 IP, 2 ER, 9 baserunners, 7 Ks, ERA at 5.27. From the comments yesterday, you’d think he killed some people’s dog or pulled an eight-earned Framber. Sure, you want more, but if 5 IP, 2 ER with 7 Ks is your worst start, you’re winning your league.
Johan Oviedo – Dealing with a strained right flexor, and has been shut down for six weeks. His right flexor saw its shadow.
Sonny Gray – 6 1/3 IP, 0 ER, 5 baserunners, 2 Ks, ERA at 2.76. [sees it’s an even year] Damn, you win again, Saberhagenmetricians!
Christian Koss – 0-for-3 as he hit 9th. Every day Tonnato Vitello wakes up and is like, “I know what will fix this Giants team!” then inserts a random guy in the nine hole.
Tyler Mahle – 5 2/3 IP, 0 ER, 7 baserunners (4 BBs), 6 Ks, ERA at 4.30. San Fran running out there a T. Mahle. Used to have to go to the Mission District.
Rafael Devers – 2-for-4, 4 RBIs and his 2nd homer. Devers delivers!
Aaron Nola – 6 IP, 3 ER, 6 baserunners, 3 Ks, ERA at 3.63. Streamonator liked this start; I don’t trust Nola at all, but I would start anyone in San Fran right now. Tony Veal can’t cutlet it.
Hunter Goodman – 1-for-2, 3 runs and a slam (2) and legs (1). Don’t come for the Rockies right now! This is Rocktoberil! Uhh…Aprickies! Uhhh…Rockpril!
Cristian Javier – Left the game with shoulder tightness. Feel like this is the end of Javier’s MLB career. If so, fitting it came in Coors, because that’s what happens to every starter who calls Coors home.
Jorge Soler – 1-for-4 and his 3rd homer, and 2nd homer in two games, and one giant shame on Grant Holmes and his mullet, that he didn’t immediately throw it high and in to Soler, brushing him back. Soler was suspended seven games for his brawl on Tuesday night, and Reynaldo Lopez got five games. Soler charged him. Was Lopez supposed to run straight to the outfield, into the pen, out of the pen, into the parking lot and to the 5 Freeway and to Laguna to see Kristin and LC? That’s what I would’ve done, but I don’t understand suspending Lopez at all. Yes, I know he walloped him with a baseball. Good! Should Lopez have called the cops? What recourse does he have? Run to the concourse? This is so dumb.
Matt Olson – 1-for-4, 2 RBIs and his 3rd homer. 32 more homers for 35.
Grant Holmes – 6 2/3 IP, 2 ER, 8 baserunners, 6 Ks, ERA at 2.55. Could see Streamonator, but his numbers look iffy for shallower leagues. Keep starting him and you’re gonna get buried in Grant’s tomb. Booyah! Nailed it! High five me! No? Okay.
David Peterson – 5 IP, 5 ER, ERA at 6.14. Welp, something’s wrong with him. I wouldn’t start him anywhere and would look elsewhere in most mixed leagues.
Ryne Nelson – 5 2/3 IP, 1 ER, 5 hits, zero walks, 5 Ks, ERA at 4.20. Early on, he had a perfect game going and I thought Nelson might be the lede today because of how well he was pitching, but ended up just a little below a Quality Start and his peripherals (it’s early) don’t look very impressive. Don’t mind him, but he’s basically a number five to six.
Jordan Walker – 1-for-4 and his 5th homer, 2nd homer in two games, third homer in three games, fourth homer in five games and 100th homer in a week! When I looked back, there was only one set of footprints and that was when I knew Walker was carrying me.
Michael McGreevy – 6 IP, 1 ER, 4 hits, zero walks, 1 K, ERA at 2.16. Streamonator doesn’t like his next one, and I see no reason to press my luck and risk whammies.
Dylan Cease – 5 IP, 1 ER, 8 baserunners (4 BBs), 8 Ks, ERA at 2.45. Against the Dodgers, Dylan Cease could’ve easily made your fantasy team D. Cease’d, but luckily the walks did not bury him.
Shohei Ohtani – 0-for-3, and 6 IP, 0 ER, 5 baserunners, 2 Ks, ERA at 0.001000000000. Nah, kidding, it’s 0.000000000000, was just messing with some of youse’s OCD.
Nico Hoerner – 3-for-5, 2 runs, 2 RBIs and his 1st homer. Inner monologue, “Don’t think about how Nico Hoerner has out-homered your Italian Royals no-good-son-of-a-beaches. Wait, an inner monologue is literally me thinking about it. Damn it!”
Colin Rea – 5 IP, 1 ER, 4 baserunners, 2 Ks, ERA at 3.18 vs. Joe Boyle – 4 1/3 IP, 5 ER, ERA at 5.17. This matchup was billed as, “Colin/Joe for what, he never picks up.”
Will Warren – 4 2/3 IP, 2 ER, 8 baserunners, 5 Ks, ERA at 3.07. His BAA vs. lefties is over .400 and it was .342 last year. If I were another team, I’d just throw all lefties vs. him, and, until he can be mediocre vs. lefties, he’s flawed.
Luis Severino – 5 IP, 2 ER, 9 baserunners (5 BBs), 7 Ks, ERA at 5.40. He was in Yankee Stadium for the first time since Yankees fans were like, “We should trade Severino for Mike Trout and Ohtani.”
Joel Kuhnel – 1 IP, 0 ER, ERA at 0.00 and his 1st save for the A’s. Who? Oh, yeah, Joel Kuhnel. You know. That guy!
Framber Valdez – 5 IP, 8 ER, ERA at 4.76. Honestly, I’m not even sure who in the Twins’ lineup could hit Framber, and, after looking at the box score, I still don’t know. What a brutal disaster of a start. I am reeling and not in a fun “I’m on the pier fishing” type way. Mind boggling start vs. the Twins. My mind’s boggled!
Bailey Ober – 5 2/3 IP, 2 ER, 6 baserunners, 2 Ks, ERA at 5.27. Bailey Ober should give up eight runs! Not Framber! Jesus H.! Who’s not a Marlins’ outfielder! That’s Heriberto H.!
Konnor Griffin – 0-f0r-1, 1 RBI, didn’t start as he was busy signing a 9-year, $140M deal. Konnor Griffin’s wife should celebrate him signing the largest contract in Pirates’ history by divorcing him and taking half to teach him a hard but important lesson. Don’t get married at 19.
Mitch Keller – 6 IP, 0 ER, 4 baserunners, 4 Ks, ERA at 1.00. Mitch definitely don’t kill my vibe. I’d say Sell if I thought you could get anything for him. I don’t. I’d ride it out. I’d even make sure it’s a safe matchup on Streamonator because I don’t trust him at all.
Michael King – 6 IP, 2 ER, 7 baserunners, 4 Ks, ERA at 3.24. I do think you can Sell King, and I’d be like a guy in a American flag t-shirt with the sleeves cut off on a car commercial calling myself, The Sell King, and selling King.
Jake Cronenworth – 1-for-4, 2 RBIs and his 1st homer. For what it’s Cronenworth, I think there’s more bottom of the lineups (hitters 7-9) in MLB that are hitting below .200 than any time in the history of baseball. I’m like Elias Sports Bureau but with vibes.
Joey Cantillo – 5 2/3 IP, 1 ER, 5 baserunners, 9 Ks, ERA at 2.45. Super impressed with what I saw from Cantillo. He wasn’t just getting guys out, he was confusing them. I’ll take confusing over producing weak contact, though the results can be the same. To take one guy who seems to be the apple of some people’s eyes, Cantillo looked better than Bubba Chandler. Call Cantillo Betterlicious.
Chase DeLauter – 1-for-5, 2 RBIs. Was watching this game and he got jammed on one pitch and still hit it the other way about 380 feet. He’s so strong. Gonna start calling him Barry Bonds with the bad feet.
Angel Martinez – 4-for-5, 4 RBIs and a grand slam (1) and legs (2). Have yourself a career day, Angel! I haven’t seen an Angel that hot since Tawny Kitaen was wearing Chuck Finley’s jersey lying on the roof of an IROC. A game like Angel had usually leads to a hot schmotato run, so stay on yo’ toes! Unless you’re Chase DeLauter.
Cole Ragans – 2/3 IP, 3 ER, ERA at 5.91. Hit by a comebacker on his hand and left the game. Ragans forgot to duck. With his hand. It’s a good joke if you’re 70 years old.
Eury Perez – 5 IP, 2 ER, 8 baserunners, 6 Ks, ERA at 5.06. His command is so wonky-slash-unlike him so far this year, that I wonder if there’s a mechanics issue. Whenever I have an issue with my mechanics, I bat my eyelashes and raise my track pants to show some leg.
Michael Petersen – 1 IP, 0 ER, ERA at 5.40, and his 1st save. He also didn’t kill his wife, it was the owl.
Connor Norby – 2-for-4 and his 1st homer. “Imagine spelling Connor normal.” That’s Konnor Griffin.
Griffin Conine – 2-for-4, 2 runs, 2 RBIs and his 2nd homer. I can’t imagine there’s anything here, but I also see Conine with the Marlins and all I can think is that there was a “Take son to work” day and Jeff left him behind.
Sal Stewart – 2-for-4, 2 runs, 2 RBIs and a slam (2) and legs (3). I need a Guiseppe intervention between Sal and the Italians who play for the Royals. We need a powwow but with Italians. A WOPwow.
Brady Singer – 2 2/3 IP, 5 ER, ERA at 7.7q. Won’t be Singer’ing anything, not in the mood now.
Christian Encarnacion-Strand – Designated for assignment. For a while, I thought no one was giving him a chance, but now I think it’s him. By the way, Ryan Rowland-Smith, the Australian former pitcher turned sportscaster, was the first baseball player ever in 2007 to have a hyphenated last name. Now? You can’t escape it. This is just another way the Australians have infiltrated our society. First the hyphenated last name, then the flat white is everywhere, next I’m gonna be hunting gators! How about you have a crack somewhere else, you muppet!

2026 is SAGNOF strong. Eric Orze with his first ever SV today, but it’s his 3rd SVHD this week! What a series mopping of the tigers.
I’ve seen a few comments where you are recommending Didier. Guessing you expect him back soon. Is he rotation bound when he gets called back up?
They sent him down to stretch him out
Thanks Grey
Tough for me to stash him for weeks given my situation, but love the stuff.

Hi Grey, scale of 1-10 (10 being most concerned), how concerned are you that Alonso’s slow start might be a sign of things to come for him in Baltimore? Or are you not worried?

Good to hear, thank you.

I hope Walker doesn’t hit ten homers this month so B Don will let me draft him next year if he ends up with 30+.
🔥burn!🔥
HA!
Are you using Sheehan in his next start vs Tex? His velocity was still down in his last start but it held over 5.2 ip and 98 pitched instead of cratering as the game went on. I am looking for positives here. Maybe he just needs needs more ramp up. Thanks
Not until I see a good start or return in velo
So i drafted a team early and have Dylan Crews. He is in my lone NA spot. Should i hold crews or add fuentes or best hitting prospect available (max clark or de vries). I dont know if De Vries is 2027 but I put him here because of bing bong. Thanks
Add Didier

Hi Grey,
Jeff Springs of the A’s is pitching a zero hit game against the Yankees through 6 innings. Meanwhile. and I know it’s the A’’s, Ryan Weathers has gone 7 innings and gave up 1 run, 7 hits and struck out 6.
Would you pick up either or both. or pass. If yes, would you drop Early or Rodriguez or Randy Vasquez or Rhett Lowder?
Thanks!!
Who is Rodriguez
Eduardo Rodriguez of the Diamondbacks
Thanks again!!!
Pick up Weathers, drop Rodriguez
Thanks!!!

12 team, H2H, 7×7-thinking about offering up this trade, My Gunnar/Cal for his Acuna/Baldwin/O’brien..your opinion please?
Gunnar
Cease or Eury in a points league?
Eury
How would you prioritize these Horton replacements (deep 12 team NL only, very slim pickins):
Junk
Assad
Rea
Brown (maybe upside?)
Muchas Gracias!
Also would you swap Graham Ashcraft for Stanek? First week Stanek was nice but starting to feel like a dumpster fire.
No
Brown who? Hunter? Junk I guess
Ben Brown prolly. very good stuff
Correct…Ben
Rooker removed from the game during his 1st AB. Looked like an abdominal strain – didn’t he do this a couple years ago?
How do these guys hurt themselves swinging a bat? Isn’t that their entire job?
Welp
12 team OBP league with QS. Been offered a trade of Gunnar for my Acuna. He wants this to be a 2 for 2 and needs a SS back which would be Bogaerts. The question is the 2nd player back to me. He is offering one of Canzone, Bryce Miller, Nick Lodolo, or Ryan Pepiot. Thoughts on this?
Sounds fair
Lodolo
Did you see Didier’s start last night? Holy
I didn’t
6 IP, 8 K’s, 2 H, 4 BB, 0 ER.
84 pitches
Also, drop Lile for Rumfield? Utility spot, but also gives me flexibility for Busch vs lefties
Sure
Send Robbie Ray for Goodman? Basallo killing me at Catcher. 1 Catcher league, but waivers are thin.
Nah
Drop Lile for Cam Smith or Riley O’Hearn?
Cam
A. Keyshall, Griffin and Stanton
B. Trea, Cam Smith, Lugo
Which side? Close?
Konnor
Trying to remember what you and B Don were saying about starting Sheehan. Start him versus Rangers over German Marquez versus Rockies?
Go German
Grey, how do you feel about streaming Chad Patrick against the nats. Chasing wins and ks in my h2h, but whip/era is pretty close so far.
I would
12 team mixed keeper league, I am rebuilding. Would you send M. Chapman, Megill, and one of Bradish/Ryan/Gausman for P. Alonso?
Feels a little steep.
Thanks!
Sure
Thanks! Sending Bradish first?
Yeah
14 team head to head OBP league. Cedanne R, Canzone, and Cole Young dropped. How would you prioritize adding them for a bench/utility spot? Are any worth using my 2nd waiver on or hoping they hit FA
I’d add Ceddanne using waiver
Grey, I usually love your takes but what was Soler supposed to do. Historically, he has owned Lopez. In the suspension game, Soler homered, was hit on a high hard one in the next AB and buzzed near his head the following one. The ump did nothing. Didn’t throw Lopez out, not even a warning. The Angels have a reputation for being abused as target practice and doing nothing (see Mike Trout). in the fight, Lopez used the ball as a weapon, hitting Soler in the head with it. Finally, a five game suspension for a SP isn’t a suspension, He won’t even miss a turn. I’m crying no tears for him.
Soler can charge the mound, never said he can’t…I’m merely saying Lopez can defend himself. We need “Stand you mound” laws for MLB
With the ball to the head?
He was attacked and he was defending himself, no?
Maybe Soler should have brought the bat with him.
Not sure that follows
That would precede getting hit in the head with a ball, after having one buzz by the same head. Point is there is no need for weapons in a baseball fight. Right or wrong.
Add Stand Your Mound to the glossary!
Haha
Ryan McMahon started SS!!! for the yanks yesterday. He’s batting .080. POINT ZERO EIGHT ZERO! Entering yesterday.
He’s hitting average is less today.
He is truly special
Would you drop D Peterson for T Bradley?
Yes
Any opinions on Sean Burke, particularly yesterdays start?
Looks decent so far, peripherals are nice, I hadn’t noticed…Will be watching him now!
Ragnas looked dominant for 2 batter.
Struck out the 1st 2, got hit on his hand, then couldn’t get and out.
Claims he’ll make his next start. A 100mph baseball hit my hand when I’m 60 feet away deserves extra precaution.
I always worry about pitchers pitching through injuries. It means he’ll pitch bad for a while, then get put on the IL. Rather him be IL now rather than later.
Yeah, I know
Not looking good, I think the Royals will be cautious
American League is funny so far. Only 3 teams, the division leaders, are above .500.
Yea, been weird early
In 10t h2h cat. league with AVG&OPS would you rather have Story, J. Wilson, Swanson, Stott or Nunez at SS?
Thank you
Story
One of my leagues is a small 8-team 7×7 daily roto. We use OBP, SLG and AVG for hitting ratios. Acuna and Elly will both heat up, but who do you want to roll with ROS based on my league categories?
Elly
For ROS, Cantillo or Burrows?
Cantillo
RCL,
Skubal and Aranda for Vlad and Merrill
Close?
Vlad
Morning Grey — Great round up .
I especially lolled all over myself from the Konnor Griffin write up. Always enjoyable reading these, for what it’s Cronenworth :)
Thanks!
Would you trade Acuna for an IL’d Soto + J. Pena?
Sure
In a H2H Sv+Holds league, should I dump B. Abreu for King already? Abreu has done this to me in the past where he is doo doo to start the year, then fine later on with great ratios and Ks. But my god, he is an extra helping of doo doo so far with low velocity.
Yes
Yeah laid off Gore too, in line for Cy Young votes now.
Ha, exactly
Mr Grey – Will Ryan Walker be any type of useful this year – or drop for Lugo – Junis or Grant holmes
Junis
In my attempt to be patient with Canzone, I present for all to see this gorgeous statcast page. Sure hope this turns into actual production and maybe, just maybe more playing time.
Holding out hope as well.
I know, maybe with Robles out it will
Please pick one ?
Ashcraft at Cubs
Baz home vs SF
Sheehan home vs Tex
Baz
Acuna for Gunnar and Schlittler. I know you were a sell on Schlitt (I think)…
Gunnar=Acuna, anything else tips it in that favor
Thanks Grey.
No problem
How much FAAB you dropping on Walker out of 100 in a 15 teamer, at least 25?
I don’t know anything of your league size, $25 seems crazy high
15 teamer
Oh, sorry, you wrote that didn’t you…$25 seems crazy high still…do you have zero dollar bids?
Np, $1 is the minimum for us, we’re capped at 15 pickups for the year
Oh, I guess $27
Thanks!
No problem
Hey good people… happy Thursday… would you consider Rumsfeld an upgrade over Burger at this point or not? Tia
I’d go Rumfield
Thank you my dude, is Rumfield over Brady House as well ?
Rumfield at home, House on road, hmm
If Ragans needs surgery I bet he asks if all the doctors in the room are Republicans.
Ha
Would you trade Judge for Witt in a 12-team OPS keeper? Witt is obviously the better long-term play, but my team is a contender now and Judge has been #1 in our league the last two years in a row… Thanks!
Nope
In my keeper league,
I was offered Jordan Walker (Keeper) and Shane mclanahan for my Nolan McLean (Keeper). Seems like I should accept this?
Mac is lucky if he gets to 5 for the W. QS at 6 is even more impossible
He just did tonight
McLean
Ok I will hold
Alex Freeland. His statcast looks great early on. Is there a precursor to this? I guess I want to know if you think it’s real.
He’s gonna hit .205
Should I move Bellinger for Freeman in a 16-team ops keeper? They are both maxed out at $32.
Reynolds would slot in to my CF.
Nope
Thoughts on Didier Fuentes? Is he worth a speculative add in redraft leagues?
Yes
Good morning, Grey,
Have been trying to decide whether to make a drop to add Kyle Harrison. 10 tm redraft, QS league.
Options include:
Jack Flaherty, Shane Baz OR
Daylen Lile (2nd bench bat, Cam Smith is the other. Starting OF is Carroll, Pages, Jordan Walker and Wilyer Abreu)
Thanks as always!
Lile

I’m in the league where Chase wasn’t drafted! I could have him!!
Thought James Wood was struggling. Ah, of course. The Cardinals got him going.
Interesting Nico 18. He has the highest WAR currently at 1
If there were only a category for fielding grounders effectively…
He does WAY more than that but I do understand some of his WAR value is Defense. Which actually does help win games
5 players fro the top 50 adp, none from the top ten. statistical noise. little to no signal most likely.
Sure, lots of higher drafted players will begin appearing with more games played. Interesting to see which of these low picks will stay in the top 25 for a time.
Last year Springer and Perdomo were surprises on the first list that were in the top 25 at the end.
Forever regretting not drafting Sandy, J. Walker, and DeLauter (all on my personal DO DRAFT list). Why does my draft day self always ignore my pre-draft self? 😭
Good stuff, Vin!
12 team H2H redraft, Adley Rutschman or Carter Jensen?
Jensen
Does Josh Naylor and Julio Rodriguez have the same batting coach? Things that make you go “hmmmm”.
Ha
I didn’t make a team over under win total bet but I honestly considered the Rockies. Coukd have had them at 54.5.
Save this post when they end at 54 wins. Also saves you a year of anguish rooting for the Rockies.
Pirates over 77.5 was the missed opportunity for me. They would have been a bit more fun to root for.
Ha
Wow, that’s low
Don’t forget the over on me Redbirds at 69.5! (Interestingly, That’s also the number of a lovemaking sesh that gets interrupted by Peter Dinklage!!)
Haha
In a $100 for the year FAAB budget league, someone just dropped Austin Riley. No patience, I guess. How much would you suggest throwing at him? Currently have Okamoto.
Sorry- forgot to say that this is a 12 teamer with OPS instead of AVG. Thanks, Grey!
$7
Welp, overshot that by a considerate amount. Ha!
Rhett Lowder looking super weak in projections, but I feel intrigued? Two really good starts to start the year, top 7 overall pick in 2023, and gets a good matchup @MIA today. Disregard the robot and let him rip? Or bench and watch for one more start?
I’d go with him
King was at 92 pitches through 6 innings up 4-0 and I knew he shouldn’t go back out there just from checking my phone a few times during his start. If I knew, the manager should know. 6 inn 0 ER 2 hits 5 ks looks pretty good. 3 pitches in the 7th and he was gone, and of course both runs scored. This isn’t just me wanting those points, this is watching King since was in tee ball. Slight exaggeration.
It was very obvious he shouldn’t have went back out there
Another trade offer: My Jordan Walker and Nathan Eovalldi for Matt Olsen. 12 team points league
Take Olson and run.
Olson
Assad or Scherzer to drop Peterson?
Assad
Acuna, FTJ, Vinnie, Soderstrom = combined 0 home runs YTD…..how is that even possible…
Its insanity!!
You can add Lindor to that list
Lindor doesn’t have an RBI yet.
I know, its crazy
Haha, I know
all 4 are on my team…lol Abrams is my team HR leader by 3 HR’s over anyone else my roster…..lol
Same, I think, it’s been miserable
And Kurtz!
That owl reference talon’d my scalp and threw me down the stairs with laughter.
Haha
I was offered Jordan Walker and Shane mclanahan for my Nolan McLean. Seems like I should accept this?
McLean
LOL No one ever likes Mitch Keller…he’s boring and pedestrian, but he has a knack for quietly stringing together QS in a day and age where they are relatively rare. I remember you were hating on him last year and I pointed out he was like 2nd in QS.
180 innings of 4.20 ERA pitching. Valuable in points leagues! I kind of like the pitching vibe in Pittsburgh. Maybe a career year?…. 3.91 EAR was his best full year.
I doubt it, he looks pretty meh
He’s ok
Hey Grey! I’ve been mulling the Big questions in life… like, “Can Jordan Walker single-handedly save my fantasy team?” The answer is – “No, he’s just one of 13 hitters! I need some of the other dudes to pick it up too.” But can he make playing fantasy baseball FUN FUN FUN even while my team is stuck in 9th place? Oh, yes, absolutely.
I looked up Joel Kuhnel to see if he might be worth an add. Here’s what I found: (a) he looks a bit like a young Louis C.K. (b) the A’s have four ‘closers’ listed on roster resource. (c) he missed out on making the Reds top 45 prospects list… in 2022…
Haha
Lopez won’t even miss a start, though.
How bout we get back to the good old days, when you would just plunk their guy in the arse, he takes first, and the game goes on? That was retaliation once upon a time. Both benches warned. We play ball.
This wasn’t retaliation. He got pissed because he gave up a homer, so he hit him up and in, and caught his hand. Then in the following at bat, he buzzed him near his head again. That’s when the melee started.
In the good old days, those pitchers had to step in the box also.
He was gonna get two next week. So theres that. The guy defended himself from enormous man charging at him. Why did he get suspended at all. Should he run to the dugout to avoid the fight?
He’s not going to miss a start. So if he was going to get 2, he will still get 2.
If they felt he intentionally threw at Soler, they had to suspend him.
Good, he shouldn’t
What about the games he’s missing with his friends, missing valuable time to bond
It’s always about the friends they made along the way.
Ha
I’m narrowly ahead in ERA & WHIP. Tempted to bench Weathers against the AAA’s.
Play it safe or YOLO?
YOLO
Again, I fear you just love saying “YOLO”.
haha
YOLO!
And this is why I have trust issues.
;)
YOLO!
Hahaha
8 innings of 1-run ball! Roasted my WHIP with 7 hits, but not too bad- I’ll take the K’s & QS.
MF’n YOLO!!!
YOLO!
There were 8 saves today. Only one was by a player owned in more than 1% of leagues.
Now THAT is an incredbile stat! Yikes.
