*nervous finger tap* How many days without baseball? So, I can close my fantasy baseball team browser window without missing anything? Okay. *throws computer out window* What? Was there another way to close my fantasy team page? I hadn’t in so long I forgot. What do you mean I can go outside without worrying about missing anything in baseball? But there’s real people out there! I’m staying right here, thank you very much! So, who is going to hit less homers in the Home Run Derby than Kyle Stowers (5-for-5, 4 runs, 6 RBIs and his 17th, 18th and 19th homer, hitting .293) hit on Sunday? I’m gonna say Cal Raleigh, then people are gonna panic for four days that Cal will now be cursed in the 2nd half, then he hits a home run in his 1st at-bat of the 2nd half and everyone is like, “Now that’s how you turn the other cheek.” Stowers is going to appear in tomorrow’s top 100 for the 2nd half, because he’s been solid for almost the whole 1st half, and what a way for the Orioles to end their regrettable 1st half! Beat up by a guy they traded away in the ultimate revenge game and trounced by the Marlins. Don’t worry, Orioles, you have top prospects who will either never be promoted or will suck if they are. Anyway, here’s what else I saw this weekend in fantasy baseball:
Connor Norby – Hit the IL with wrist inflammation. Con Air good, Con-Nor bad.
Janson Junk – 7 IP, 0 ER, 5 hits, zero walks, 2 Ks, ERA at 2.68. Just gave you my Junk man fantasy. It rode on the back of the garbage truck and went vroom vroom.
Otto Lopez – 2-for-5, 2 RBIs and his 11th homer, hitting .250, 2nd homer in three games. Around top 10 on the Player Rater for 2nd basemen and, oh, my God, I spotted Luis Arraez on the Rater, and, woof, he’s sucked.
Eury Perez – 7 IP, 0 ER, 3 hits, zero walks, 6 Ks, ERA at 3.18, as he closed the break with his longest career start. That’s three straight solid starts. If you wondering if he can keep it going: Yes. Or put a different way: Y-E-S.
Trevor Rogers – 6 2/3 IP, 1 ER, 4 baserunners, 8 Ks. You can look at the Streamonator for him, but just so you’re aware he has a 1.53 ERA. One-five-three.
Hunter Dobbins – Hit the IL with a season-ending torn ACL. That leaves MLB with zero guys who sound like characters from Lord of the Rings until Frodo Sanchez gets promoted.
Garrett Crochet – 9 IP, 0 ER, 3 hits, zero walks, 9 Ks, ERA at 2.23. This was his first career complete game. Arguably the third best starter in MLB with his first career complete game? This is not your slightly older brother’s baseball.
Ceddanne Rafaela – 1-fro-3, 2 RBIs and his 14th homer, 3rd homer in a week, 5th homer of July. Baseball coaching is so hilarious. Supposedly, Ceddanne’s newfound power is from the coaches saying pull the ball in the air. Ya think?!
Brayan Bello – 6 1/3 IP, 1 ER, 6 hits, zero walks, 5 Ks, ERA at 3.14. Just gave you my Brayan Bello fantasy. This was written while listening to the new Clipse.
Shane Baz – 6 1/3 IP, 1 ER, 7 baserunners, 3 Ks, ERA at 4.17. How long until he’s Rasmussen’ing only a few innings? I’m seriously asking. By end of July? Zero pitchers can throw innings anymore. I suggest letting hitters hit off a tee and pitchers become an extra outfielder. You can’t tell me Kevin Cash hasn’t looked this up in the rulebook. You derisively roll your eyes, but you try to generate enough power off a tee to drive the ball.
Austin Riley – Hit the IL with an ab strain and I removed him from the top 100 for the 2nd half (out tomorrow). I’m so over Riley. “Life of Riley” an idiom meaning a carefree, comfortable and enjoyable existence? Yeah, they’re at the idiom office having it changed. Life of Riley now means lower your expectations into a void in the ground where goodness dies.
Nacho Alvarez Jr. – 0-for-3, as he was recalled on Saturday by the Braves. He only appeared in two games this year, but he made the NL All-Star Team. Congrats, Nacho!
Lars Nootbaar – Hit the IL with an intercostal injury. “That’s rib issue, and it wouldn’t be me.” That’s Tony Roma, not Tony Romo, which is a segue to our fantasy football content.
Ivan Herrera – 1-for-3, with his 2nd and 3rd steal, as he was activated from the IL. Cards said he won’t catch much the rest of the year, which is fine if your position eligibility for next year is 14 or fewer games played. If you need 15 to 20? You better hope he sneaks in a few more.
Giancarlo Stanton – 1-for-3 and his 4th homer, and that’s in nine games. I hope he has a nice break, I’ll be hiding under his bed if he needs anything.
Matthew Boyd – 8 IP, 0 ER, 4 hits, zero walks, 6 Ks, ERA at 2.34. Let’s just say I’m glad I only roster Boyd in leagues where I can’t move him to my bench because, well, let’s just say I’m missing grapes in my Fruit of the Looms.
Shota Imanaga – 7 IP, 1 ER, 3 baserunners, 6 Ks, ERA at 2.65. Said on Friday to sell, and now I’m saying same same.
Michael Busch – 1-for-5 and his 19th homer, as he moved to the leadoff spot, with Ian Happ’s struggle bus moved to the six hole, but really shizz Happ’s in the eight hole. Dansby Swanson (2-for-4, 2 RBIs and his 16th homer) hitting behind Happ is an insult to Swanson, and no one insults Dans–Actually, you can’t insult Swanson worse than being named Dansby.
Zac Gallen – 5 IP, 6 ER, ERA at 5.40. DBacks are making Gallen available for trades, but they haven’t been wowed yet with the possible return packages. One team offered a fax machine, another team offered an expired coupon to Busch Gardens. They almost accepted the 2nd one, thinking Busch Gardens was a prospect name.
Julio Rodriguez – 2-for-3, 3 runs, 2 RBIs and a slam (14) and legs (17), 3rd homer in three games. Someone’s getting a head start on the 2nd half! If he gets to 30/30 this year, it’s gonna be very hard to not rank him in the top 20 overall again. He is not currently on pace for that, though.
Randy Arozarena – 2-for-5, 2 RBIs and his 17th homer, 2nd homer in two games, third homer in a week, 7th homer in July, and nine homers since the last day of June, but June isn’t July, but you know what I’m saying. The Rice Bowl’s turned his whole season around, and, brucely, his entire career trajectory.
Cole Young – 2-for-4 and his 2nd homer. Not much to say on schmotatoes going into the break, because guys can go cold in the time off, but I do like Young and he had both of his homers this week.
Logan Gilbert – 5 1/3 IP, 0 ER, 8 baserunners, 9 Ks, ERA at 3.39. There’s a chance here for Gilbert to have a huge 2nd half, but it’s contingent on him being healthy, so is he? Shruggy the Emoji shrugs.
Jack Flaherty – 5 IP, 2 ER, 6 baserunners, 7 Ks, ERA at 4.65. Speaking of Buy Lows (I was with Gilbert), Flaherty could fix himself. Will he? Your guess = my guess.
Riley Greene – 2-for-4 and his 24th homer, 2nd homer in two games, hitting .284. His underlying stats still don’t really make sense, but I’m just a talking head and he won’t stop making sense.
Kyle Manzardo – 1-for-4, 3 RBIs and his 15th homer, and 2nd homer in two games. He homered off Aaron Civale, who he was traded for in 2023. “No one’s ever homered off me.” That’s Cash Considerations.
Joey Cantillo – 5 1/3 IP, 4 ER, 7 hits, zero walks, 6 Ks, ERA at 4.17. Not sure how long I can convince myself that Cantillo is a good guy to roster because of his peripherals when none of my fantasy leagues have a category for Appearances, with the scoring Should Be Better or Should Be Worse.
Nick Kurtz – 2-for-4, 2 runs, 2 RBIs and his 17th homer, and his 12th homer since June 15th, which is the same as Cal Raleigh. Oh, but you’re not ready for that cherrypicking.
Tyler Soderstrom – 1-for-4, 2 RBIs and his 18th homer, 3rd homer in four games. Soder pop with no fizz!
Davis Schneider – 1-for-3 and his 5th homer, 2nd homer in three games. Right before this homer, he homered, but it was called foul, Jays’ manager John Schneider argued, got tossed, and Davis turned around and hit another homer.
Addison Barger – 1-for-3, 2 RBIs and his 13th homer, 2nd homer in the week. Barger has been great, so don’t take this the wrong way, but, after seeing Kurtz has 17 homers in two less weeks of games than Barger, it’s just got me going more gaga-goo-goo for Kurtz.
Emmet Sheehan – 4 1/3 IP, 1 ER, 5 baserunners (3 BBs), 3 Ks, ERA at 2.03. Don’t love the command or that it was a 3:3 K:BB outing, but the stuff is so nasty, that I think you have to look at him in most leagues.
Yoshinobu Yamamoto – 7 IP, 0 ER, 5 baserunners, 7 Ks, ERA at 2.59 vs. Robbie Ray – 6 IP, 2 ER, 5 baserunners, 6 Ks, ERA at 2.65. This matchup was billed as, “Yamamoto vs. Yo, why yo’ pants so tight?”
Landen Roupp – 6 IP, 1 ER, 8 baserunners, 8 Ks, ERA at 3.27. Headed into the break and I have Roupp in one league with crazy pitching. Oh, and I drafted only hitting in this league! Oh, Part II: Oh Again, my top drafted pitcher was Roki Sasaki, who I dropped. Here’s my preseason recap. By the by, I have a sub-3 ERA for my entire team! And you’re gonna tell me you can’t piece together pitching? I got Andrew Abbott for zero dollars in an NL-Only league! Look at this nutty shizz:
Hunter Brown – 5 IP, 4 ER, 7 baserunners, 8 Ks, ERA at 2.43. 10 ER in his last 11 IP, and bring on the break for him, before Brown needs five-cent psychiatric help, because the doctor is out.
Framber Valdez – 6 IP, 0 ER, 4 baserunners, 10 Ks, ERA at 2.75 vs. Jacob deGrom – 6 IP, 2 ER, 5 baserunners, 8 Ks, ERA at 2.32. This was a matchup of two guys who will be in tomorrow’s top 100 for the 2nd half. Wonder who will be ranked first, asked absolutely no one who knows me, but they are close!
Adolis Garcia – 1-for-4 and his 13th homer, 3rd homer in the last four games. His last August and September were actually decent — not great, just decent. Still, decent has a place.
Marcus Semien – 1-for-4 and his 12th homer, 2nd homer in two games, third homer in five games. Hit .324 with four homers in June, and this is his 2nd season in a row where he started incredibly slow, i.e., Semien practicing tantric.
Nathan Eovaldi – 7 2/3 IP, 1 ER, 6 baserunners, 8 Ks, ERA at 1.58. Only so low his ERA can go, soon he’s gonna throw a shutout and his ERA is gonna go up.
Christian Encarnacion-Strand – Was optioned to the minors. Saw someone describe this as a surprise. Yeah, sure, the guy with the .208/.234/.377 statline. Surprise, surprise, guys who suck get sent down.
Noah Cameron – 6 2/3 IP, 0 ER, 9 baserunners, 8 Ks, ERA at 2.31. Just gotta keep out-performing your peripherals. It’s Parliamentary, my dear Cameron.
Frankie Montas – 5 IP, 1 ER, 4 hits, zero walks, 5 Ks, ERA at 5.03. I put in bids for Montas in all relevant leagues. Not because I love Montas, but I trust Jeremy Hefner.
Sean Manaea – 3 1/3 IP, 1 ER, 5 hits, zero walks, 7 Ks as he was activated from the IL. He piggybacked with Clay Holmes (5 IP, 2 ER, 6 baserunners, 2 Ks, ERA at 3.31), and, if that’s piggybacking, it’s like CT carrying Johnny Bananas. That’s a lot more like Holmes was the starter and Manaea was the reliever. Wonder how long this arrangement lasts. Any hoo! Manaea looked excellent; I’ve always been a fan, and I would look to add where I could.
Brandon Woodruff – 4 1/3 IP, 2 ER, 5 hits, zero walks, 10 Ks, ERA at 2.61. I’m sorry, I didn’t think I’d be praising Woodruff either, but 10 Ks vs. zero walks in 4 1/3 IP? That’s damn good. (Speaking of praising Woodruff, I do want to name a dog Arfer Woofruff, and you better believe I would be praising that fella!)
Jackson Chourio – 1-for-4, 3 RBIs and his 16th homer. Jack-Chou, God bless you!
Freddy Peralta – 6 2/3 IP, 1 ER, 4 baserunners, 7 Ks, ERA at 2.66. Baseball is funny (and ulcer-inducing), FreddyKBB’s down in Ks, looks like his iffiest year, and it’s been his best year for ERA. Very funny (ulcer)!
Eli Willits – Drafted 1st overall by the Nats. At 17 years old, he becomes the youngest number one overall, as the Nats announce they’ll be rebuilding for the next five years after rebuilding for the last three years. Angels selected Tyler Bremner with the 2nd pick, and the Angels announced he will be called up on Friday and he’s their representative for the All-Star Game. With the 4th pick, the Colorado Rockies selected Brian Dozier, hoping to lure him out of retirement. I’m sure Itch will have more on Wednesday.
Tommy Pham – 1-for-4 and his 4th homer, 2nd homer in a week, hitting near-.400 in July. Pham rounded the bases on his homer, spinning a sandwich board that read, “Will play a utility role for a playoff contender, and organize the team’s fantasy football league.”
Mitch Keller – 6 IP, 1 ER, 4 hits,z ero walks, 3 Ks, ERA at 3.48. He’s going into the break with 2nd most Quality Starts in the major leagues, only one behind Logan Webb. Making the John Cena “You can’t see me,” but for Keller.
Byron Buxton – 2-for-4, 1 RBI and on Saturday he completed the first cycle ever at Target. Unless you count Edward in the outdoor sports department, but that’s more of a mountain bike.
Cristopher Sanchez – 7 1/3 IP, 1 ER, 9 baserunners, 6 Ks, ERA at 2.50. Have you been following the drama on Sanchez and Misiorowski with the All-Star Game? Misiorowski was named to the All-Star Game after five starts (25 2/3 IP) and Sanchez’s agent complained because Sanchez should’ve been named (and garnered a bonus, which the agent likely gets 10%), so the Phils gave Sanchez a participation bonus of $50K. Ridiculous that Misiorowski was named, but it sucks that Misiorowski is receiving any pushback from anyone. It’s not like he named himself to the team. Leave alone that gawky 6′ 7″ kid who looks like Beaker! Also, Sanchez pitched on Sunday, so was he hoping to get named for the bonus, then not play? That would’ve been legit hilarious after his people raised such a stink. Finally, why don’t fans vote on pitchers for the All-Star Game? Because availability concerns? Other pitchers bailed this year because they pitched this weekend, so I don’t see how the current system fixes that, and the whole process needs fixing. It’s currently as if it was designed to be awful. Something designed poorly by MLB with Rob Manfred in charge? No way!
Hope you had a chance to relax over the All Star break.
As you are aware, I do have to watch innings. I calculated that ideally the average should be about 50 innings per week.
I picked up Charlie Morton because of his recent starts and the possibility of him being traded.
His first two starts were at TB and at Cleveland.
I certainly had planned on sitting him at TB and probably at Cleveland. One of the intriguing starters on the WW is Slade Cecconi who is home vs the A’s. His Razz dollars are plus $10
1. Would you pick up Slade for this start?
2. If yes to question one, would you temporarily cut Morton?
3. Another option is yes to starting Slade and yes to keeping Morton and making another move. Do you like this option?
4. I appreciate that picking up Shade Bieber and Nolan Miranda of the Mets are dart throws. Would you try to pick up either of these pitchers?
Thanks again for all your ongoing assistance!
Morning G!
How do you rank these bench bat / back-up 2B ROS?

Please rank ROS: Kwan, Burleson, Kurtz. Thanks.
Kurtz, Kwan
Drop Friedl to stash Crews and add Langeliers, O Lopez, or Noelvi.
Hold Friedl?
Sure, Otto
My 3B and CI eligible players are Suarez, Busch, Westburg and M. Garcia.
I have Pena at MI so Westburg, Adell, Simpson, M. Garcia alternate in U spot.
Was offered Caminero for Snell. Would you take Caminero or hold?
Not sure if Caminero moves the needle over the others I interchange in U.
Thoughts?
I’d take Caminero, not close
12 team h2h dynasty… I’m fading in the standings. Would you trade Robert Suarez and Matthew Boyd for Walker Jenkins and a draft pick?
No
Trying to sell a reliever (Suarez or Chapman). What kind of return would you want for those guys if trying to get a younger talent? I’m targeting Jenkins, DeLauter, Bubba Chandler, or Hunter Greene, Corbin Carroll on a team with the least amount of SVHDs.
1) Suarez for Jenkins or DeLauter straight up?
2) Suarez/Chapman for Bubba Chandler?
3) Suarez/Chapman/Boyd for Carroll?
1. If you can get Corbin Carroll or any of these guys for a reliever, take it and run 2. Sure 3. Of course
Yeah, I guess Corbin’s not realistic. Thanks!
No problem
Humblebrag alert… own both Rooker and Kurtz – Rooker has quietly been really, really good but Kurtz has almost caught him some of the counting stats and isn’t a mile away oin the others.Crazy.
Yeah, Kurtz has been awesome…long live SacTown Stadium
Tho Vegas won’t be bad either
I’ve obviously got stars in my eyes but he hits the ball so clean.
Haha yeah
Mr Grey where would you place Chandler Simpson here for keeper league
Kyle Stowers Ceddanne Rafaela Chandler Simpson – look to make trade or hold on
Ceddanne, Stowers, Chandler
12-team Yahoo OBP ROS Rater doesn’t seem to think much of him, but Otto was on the wire in the ol’ H2H so I’m on him like chrome on a towbar. Can use him at SS (have Ketel at 2B).
LFG!
Haha, nice
Grey! ASB trade question. I’m in the running for the money, but badly need a starter (I need QS, W and to get my ERA/whip down).
It’s a keeper league where price goes up each year.
Got an offer of Pivetta and Barger (3B and OF elig are both very useful for me) for Jackson Merrill who is only $7 next year. He’s then $17 and 37 the 2 years after that. I wouldn’t been keeping pivetta or barger but they help me this year. Would you do it? We keep 4 and I already have 6 guys i want to keep not counting Merrill.
Forgot to mention this is a 14-team rotisserie league. OBP, QS. We also have a Doubles+Triples category
I’d want Merrill
Canzone or Laureano?
Peterson or Eury?
Ramon
Eury
I was offered Jake Mangum for Chandler Simpson – would you make the deal or hold
keeper league\
Simpson
Thoughts on Woo for Peterson straight up?
Meh, don’t love it
Someone offered me Woo for Peterson. I accepted. He is a big Met fan. Commish is flipping out, lmao. Woo is better but his injury risk isn’t going away.
I’d take Woo
I just want to brag about Otto Lopez. I hyped him up a lot if you check breakout posts from March.
But I also kept Westburg ($10), Doyle ($5) and Merrill ($2) over Maikel G ($6), Jeremy Pena ($2), and Riley Greene ($16). so, I really don’t have a lot to brag about.
Haha
Stowers over Anthony?
Stowers
Hey Greg,
Manzardo or Beck ROS?
Typo, Grey lol
Ha, No problem

Is glasnow too much to give up for Ceddanne?

Would you grab Shane Mac, Junk or Rea over EdRod or Singer?
Junk over EdRod
Libby or Kremer ROS?

Otto Lopez’ expected stats have him with a .290BA and .480….that’s pretty sexy, especially at 2B, and especially with 20+SB speed.
How do you rate him in a dynasty league? His numbers look not dissimilar from vintage Albies, and that was easily a top five 2B
Also, speaking of under owned MIs, have you looked at Neto’s ESPN ownership rates? 70% of leagues can’t find a roster spot for this guy!
re: Neto — that’s why I stopped using ESPN ownership numbers… I like Otto a lot, maybe around top 70 for dynasty
69.9% of leagues were dead after draft week

How would you rank these 3 hitters:

@Grey: weekly roto redraft. ramos too much for doyle and feliz bautista?

Hi Grey,
Your column is must read.
There are intriguing SPS on WW
Janson Junk: K%=19 BB%=2.0 ERA=2.68 FIP=2.13
Adrian Houser K%=17.3 BB%=8.0 ERA = 1.56 FIP=3.12
Slade Cecconi K%=24 BB%=8 ERA=3.44 FIP=4.17
1. Are any of these must adds?
2. Would you pick up any of these?
4. How do these three compare to Kershaw?
5. Would you you also take a dart throw on Shane Bieber?
Have a great week!!!!!
Thanks! I’d pick up Junk, 4. Kershaw, Junk, Houser 5. Sure
The MTV Challenge references are just the best, 10/10.
Haha
Who is a better injured list stash, Mahle or Zebby? Zebby had a great rehab start.
Sure, Zebby
Hi Grey: Been offered Otto Lopez for Will Smith in a 12 team OBP league. I’m way ahead in OBP with Judge and Acuna. I have Agustin Ramirez and Willson Contreras as eligible at the catcher position so will Smith is movable for the right deal. Do you think this is it? Could user more SBs which I assume Lopez will provide or should I try to hold out for Zach Neto which would be a stretch?
I’d want more, get Neto
I don’t think anyone is trading Neto I know I am not….61 runs….on the Angels!!!….and he missed the first month he a keeper
Yeah, maybe not, still want more than Lopez for Smith
I think we are once again underestimating Neto….where does he fall on your list next year….hint….first round bat..in other words insist on him
I guess, I’m saying I want Neto, aren’t we saying same thing
We are I was wondering where you’d rank him for next year as of right now.
Maybe top 40-60
Alonso/Kurtz or Yelich/Yandy ?
It’s fair
Rank ROS: DeGrom, Sonny Gray, Glasnow Thanks!
Rankings are out tomorrow
Augustin or Herrera

I was editing the Top 100 SPs and decided to click and look at your Tout recap again. Holy hell, did you ever nail the pitching.
Ray, Suarez, and Gore for a total of $34 and the Roupp dog for $2! Abbott for $0 is just as filthy as well.
James Wood, Hunter Goodman, and Andy Pages to the moon!
(As a side note – do you lose guys like McMahon if they get dealt to the AL?)
Good luck the rest of the way, Boss!
MD.
Haha, yeah, it was kinda crazy how well I did in pitching…like nuts…I don’t lose McMahon if traded
That’s good then. Our AL league changed the rule a few years back where a team can either claim the salary in FAAB cash and drop the player, or just ride it out RoS with his stats and cut him end of season (keeper league).
I have Only leagues that play both way, I hate the rule that you lose a guy, it’s all about luck and sucks
Which 2 would you own (12 team H2H) heading into the 2nd half: Cam Smith, Jac, Noelvi? Who has the best chance of taking off and looking like a top 100 player in 2026?
Smith, Jac
Smith does
Roto K/W/SV/ERA/WHIP

CJ Abrams or Suarez from AZ ?
CJ, it’s fair, depends on needs
So Rasmussen is apparently going to go back to his 5 ip after the break. Not sure what happens. The Rays pen has been nothing short of terrible lately. Darvish has looked rusty as expected without having any minor league rehab starts. Would you rather have darvish or Rasmussen ros? Thanks
Rasmussen
Where did you hear he was going back to more innings?
RSS feed came back up this weekend, but hasn’t updated since. “FAAB Week 16: That’s The Good Schlitt” was the last article.
Ugh, ok
Is it okay if our web person reached out to you directly?

I. Herrera or V. Caratini ROS?

Hey Grey! Cannot wait for the top 100 tomorrow .. really looking forward to that!
What’s your take on Ryan Helsley in the 2nd half? He’s been super underwhelming to own so far – not sure if he can turn it around or if it’s worth rostering guys like Vest or Bednar in relief.
He could be traded to the Dodgers and become their closer, I still prefer Hels
Think Wilyer Abreu could have a Stowers-type breakout in the second half if he starts playing everyday ? Better home park and lineup
Yup
Happy ASB Grey – hope you get a few days off. Before you jetset away, would you please weigh in on a trade offer I received?
Offered Edman for my Simpson.
Edman would replace Luis Garcia Jr or Caleb Durbin at 2B.
I have Acuna, Carroll, Langford, Merrill, Harris, Happ (and Simpson for 5 spots).
I do need SBs but would you make the upgrade at 2B or just stick with Durbin?
Thanks.
Simpson is a difference maker, Edman is not. Edman is not a significant upgrade over Durbin to lose a difference maker like Simpson
Simpson, agree with Little Jerry
Grey, below are my starters: Trade deadline in the league next Sunday. User k/9 QS whip era SV.
Should I trade for any upgrades in pitching? Keller, Eovaldi, Senga?
Might cost alot in trade – Fried Rondon
Waivers – Bello.
Starters:
Abbott
E Perez
Crochett
Berrios
Kirby
Chapman
Vest
Bench:
Chandler
Bibee
Manea
Bedard
You want to trade a better pitcher for a lesser one?
I was going to maybe some 2026 draft picks and maybe bibbee.
I was going to maybe some 2026 draft picks and maybe bibbee?
Sorry. Working. trade 2026 draft picks for some pitching if I need it.Not sure if teams who own rondon and fried would be opening to moving them, but they have crap teams.
Sure, trade those picks if you can for an SP
Let’s say the Rays go with both Boyle and Baz as bulk reliever followers…much easier to get a W isn’t it??
Unless Baz does like Rasmussen and pitches the 1st 3 innings of the game

Hi. Please rank the following players ROS: Westburg, Romy Gonzalez, Mookie, Freeman.

Hey Grey! Keep forever in a league where I’m not going to win this year. $3 inflation per year. Standard stats roto. Thoughts on this trade?
I receive $20 Kyle Tucker (and Sean Manaea)
I give $17 Oneil Cruz and $10 Strider.
It’s keep 8 so hypothetically here’s what my keepers would look like with the trade:
$6 Skenes
$32 Ohtani
$4 Wood
$20 Tucker
$1 Kurtz
3 of $24 Yordan (assuming health) $7 Ragans (assuming health) $7 Butler $4 Westburg $7 Turang $1 Goodman $1 C Burns (or $1 Basallo Lawlar if one of them comes up and has a big 2H)
Thanks!
Sounds decent
Thanks!
Morning G!
Would you trade your Chase Burns for Kurtz or would you want more?
Thanks!
-IANASM
I’d take Kurtz
Thanks!
He and I have been going back and forth all morning… I am considering offering:
My Burns, Barger, and Tovar
His Roman Anthony and Stowers
I have Manaea in an IL spot in waiting and generally strong pitching.
Alternatively,
He is offering Stowers for Manaea and Tovar.
Thoughts? Do you prefer one trade over another? Would you accept both?
Thank you again!
Anthony side…I’d take Stowers
Thanks… Would you prefer one trade over the other if you had the option?
Is a keeper or redraft?
Sorry – redraft. 5×5
I’d take Stowers
Thank you for the guidance!
No problem
Thanks for the 1st half insight! Please rank for 2nd half. Wins and QS’s. Thanks again. Cameron, Manaea, Flaherty, Pepiot, Keller (assuming he gets traded),
Keller, Flaherty, Pepiot
Thanks
No problem
Why are you doubling down on selling Shota after his last outing? It was outstanding
because he’s lost 3 Ks per nine since last year
Wtf am I being downvoted ?
Cause you seem to be worried about it for some reason.
Frank!!
Use your brain not your heart. I have Imanaga in multiple, waited for a simple calf strain to heal so I hear ya. One would like to think after all that waiting he’ll be great or even if he isn’t one is desperate. Someone out there values Imanaga, take advantage. That’s all.
Cheers,
Ante
Don’t listen to the herd Frank! Sometimes its wise to zig when everyone else is zagging, im holding Shota and not looking back, you never know with baseball and talent
People forget with Sells, I’m not saying sell him for a box of used socks. Players who will get worse have price tags before they get worse
I think i just shota myself!
The sell tag seems like a kiss of death but righty-o, prudence is key
Thanks for the wisdom as always, stud
Haha it’s all good, guys don’t always regress on an exact timetable
Yoshi and Croch doing their best last weekend to make up for their stinkers earlier in the week. It’s not enough, you losers!
Ha
To paraphrase a country song; Fantasy Baseball is Good, People are Crazy.
Haha
that should be the tagline for Razzball
ROS @ 2B, Mookie, Westburg, Otto Lopez and Thairo?
Mookie
Hey Grey! Happy ASB, and hope it was a ground floor window that your laptop jumped out of… I started a long post a couple days ago, about how no SPs pitch any innings anymore, but just as I was closing it with “AND GET OFF MY LAWN, YOU DARN KIDS”, I decided to delete it… Speaking of low inning SPs, we back in on Rasmussen to start second half? At home vs CHW and should be cleared to pitch all of … five innings. *yay*
Yeah, I’d start him
Hey Grey happy HR Derby Day!
5×5 12 Tm redraft
My 1B situation is rotating Steer/Burleson and Canglianone on the bench UGH!!!
FAAB I have $53 remaining ($100) with 0 bids allowed
How much would you go on Goldschmidt who was dropped?
Zero, I’d start Burleson, Steer or Cag
ROS – Eury Perez or Mackenzie Gore? 5X5
Thank you Master L
Gore
12 team h/h points redraft
Am I dropping either Ramos ( SF ) or Friedl (Cinn ) for Ceddanne Rafaela ( RS )
Friedl
12 team redraft h/h points
Trade Robert Suarez for Ranger Suarez
Can pick up Palencia off WW
Sure
All things equal, who would you rather have ROS.
Logan Webb
Or
Alex Bregman
Webb
Crochet earned his 3rd spot on the 100 Best Fantasy Starts list with this top 10 gem. It is his first appearance since April and his first at home. Perez makes it for the second time this month, while Boyd has his first top start:
06 Garrett Crochet Jul 12 vs TB
13 Garrett Crochet Apr 13 @CHW
52 Garrett Crochet Apr 2 @BAL
56 Matthew Boyd Jul 12 @NYY
72 Eury Perez Jul 3 vs MIN
78 Eury Perez Jul 13 @BAL
Watched all of Boyd’s outing. Was dealin! He deserved the all star election for sure.
Yeah, but it was just the Yankees.
Great stuff, Vin!
RE Freddy KBB – When some of these guys drop their K/9 but improve their performance, do we assume that those are the guys benefiting (more) from the pitch clock? For the 20 years prior, I completely avoided guys with sub-8 K/9, but now I feel like that’s not really problematic.
Depends on the guy, Freddy dropping Ks is a little problematic, and it doesn’t look like he’s improved, it looks like he’s been luckyish
I am waiting to hear from VIN where Boyd’s start on Saturday @NYY ranked. He was dealing!!!
See above
Grey!!!!
Awesome!!
Rodney Dangerfield quote of the day for July 14, 2025
I’m ugly I tell ya, my proctologist stuck his finger in my mouth.
Cheers,
Ante
Oh snap!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks!
Riley’d here. Backup is Cam Smith can I muddle through or hit the trade market?
I overpaid for Machado (Stowers + Gil) after getting Riley’d
That sounds solid
Depends on the league, I think you might be ok
Happy ASB!
per my earlier post where would Jacob Young slot in in with Wagaman, Casey Schmidt. Thanks in advance.
Schmitt, Young
Working the fringes in an. L only keeper league. Wagaman or Casey Schmidt?
Schmitt, Young
Your “News and Notes” kicks my ass daily. Which is to say you provide me with a daily dose of yuks which is also called Vitamin HaHa (better than ulcers). Excellent writing!
Thanks!
