I was wondering if you gave out auction values for 15 man leagues? nfbc style leagues. Thanks Mike

    • Grey

      We will…

  2. Eric says:
    (link)

Had a trade offer in my dynasty league… this league is almost more important then air….

    values included
    I give…
    cargo 34
    Cole 12
    Alexi Ram 3
    Cespesdes 14
    MCcann 9

    I get…
    Abrue 2
    Tanaka 8
    Cobb 7
    Lucroy 5
    Blackman 1

abrue cobb lucroy are all solid solid gets, tanaka is looking like 15′ could be a wash and i’m concerned blackman will regress

    thoughts?

    • jal179 says:
      (link)

      @Eric:

Cargo pricey, never healthy. 47 Cole’s appear every year= replaceable. ARam has already been impounded by the regression police. Cespedes is steady but I just don’t like McCann.

      I’d do it

    • SheriffMcRawDawg says:
      (link)

@Eric: for those values I might do that even w/o Tanaka

      • CMUTIMMAH says:
        (link)

@SheriffMcRawDawg: Unless that Abreu is Bobby, I’m not sure why you’re even asking the question…

You lower pay roll and end up with the better end of things, IMO.

    • Whatever says:

@Eric: seriously, you have to think about this one? pull the trigger before the owner gets cold feet!!!

  3. dan says:

16 team auction roto keeper, 6×6 w/ ops. Would you rather $1 Mesoraco or $6 Marte?

  6. mark says:

In a standard 5X5 Roto league with OBP instead of BA, I have a choice between keeping Kole Calhoun or Carlos Carrasco (dual SP / RP). Your thoughts?

    Below are my other keepers:
    Hanley Ramirez
    Robinson Cano
    Paul Goldschmidt
    Freddie Freeman
    Bryce Harper
    Yoenis Cespedes
    Clayton Kershaw
    Adam Wainwright

    Kluber, DeGrom or Ventura?
    15 team dynasty league.

  12. Stephen says:
    (link)

If you could choose any minor leaguer in a prospect draft (anyone who qualifies for Rookie of the Year including players like Rusney Castillo are eligible) who would it be?

Assume you get to keep this player for at least 3 years for the date they play at least 30 days in the majors in a dynasty format. Who do you think has the highest ceiling for this year? And in perpetuity if taking more of a long run horizon?

  13. John says:
    (link)

Do you know when your auction values come out?

  14. Kent says:

Is it possible to export the rankings to excel?

    10 team auction keeper league:
keep Jorge Soler for up to 4 years for the minimum
    or
keep Kyle Seager for 1 year for a relatively low price?
wish Soler had at least half a year in the bigs

    Grey,

Can you give a rank of middle reliver’s. 5×5 roto

  28. ByeFelicia says:
    (link)

    Grey,
What would you bid in a 12 team auction post draft on Yellich & Mesoraco? $200 (DBL THE NORM) FA budget. Dbl the players auction value say $28 for Yellich and $15 for Meso? I really need a 5th OF and Catcher. Replacing Chirnos & Baez/Avisail (haven’t decided which one yet) Thx Homie

    • ByeFelicia says:
      (link)

@ByeFelicia: this is my 1st time playing auction league so i haven’t a clue what im doing ha

  29. lid says:

does an innings pitched limit of 1300 for a season (in a 9 team classic roto league) make starting pitchers more valuable on draft day? I understand the concept of drafting hitting first but…an elite starter will count for about 220 of the 1300 innings while an elite hitter will only account for 162 of the 1620 total player games allowed. Thoughts?

    • Grey

      Grey says:
      (link)

      A tad more valuable, yeah…

  30. PeteRosesRevnege says:

Hi Grey had our draft Yesterday, i picked 4th the wife picked 7th, we followed the Razzball methodology pretty much. As expected Most of the other teams went pitching first. I think my team is pretty good but not as good as last year. My team is Pomponies Pigs, my wifes is the Diamond dogs. What do you think?

it is a 10 team head to head league points are at the end of the post.

what tools do you have for a 5×5 roto OBP draft? Most of this seems to be for average.

  32. Jcoakley says:
    (link)

In 12 team, non-keeper league that values hitting (10 categories) vs pitching (9categories).
Picking third I am finding guys like Ramirez and Posey (high value at SS and C) but also Beltre, Braun, and Ellsbury types at #22 and #27 (Donaldson, Tulo, Rendon usually gone). Advice??

Assuming you don’t go for Strasburgh or other SP based on earlier writings.

    • Grey

      Grey says:

Depends who you have with first two… Obviously I like Donaldson the best per my rankings

      • Jcoakley says:
        (link)

@Grey: I will have McCutchen or Stanton with my first pick and have gotten Brantley more often than not in mocks with my second. Just not sure if I am reaching on either Ramirez or Posey here due to their positions versus Beltre or Braun.

Any chance you guys are going to be updating the software used for the on-site War Room? I’ve tried accessing it on a Mac and PC, and using IE, Chrome and Firefox. It just doesn’t work, and when it does, it doesn’t last for long. It’s such a great idea, but seems totally unusable for some reason.
