Houston ain’t got a problem! Hashtag nailed it! Hashtag blessed for Dad jokes! Hashtag I still got it! [as I walk off the curb, sprain my ankle and trip into the sewer] I’m good! Little help! Captain Woo Cubano’s three homers yesterday brought him a step closer to respectability. By which I mean, anyone who is 6’5″ and 250 pounds of muscle has to hit 30 homers or you get no nickname (see: Yandy) and no respect (uh, still Yandy). You know I have massive love for Yordong aka Captain Woo Cubano, and a 4-for-4, 4 RBIs with his 26th, 27th and 28th homers yesterday gets Yordan Alvarez closer to that goal of 30. Though, he really should be nearing 50 homers. Alas, the real star yesterday, SP-Arrighetti, the fettuccine of fantastic, the puttanesca of puttin’ some stank on it! The Al Dente of I don’t wanna hear about his walk rate! Spencer Arrighetti (7 2/3 IP, 0 ER, 2 hits, 4 walks, 11 Ks, ERA at 4.63) is having a 2nd half that I said previously was leading him to be a next year sleeper for me; now I’m worried he might be overrated, then Arrighetti is hasta la pasta! Anyway, here’s what else I saw yesterday in fantasy baseball:
Taijuan Walker – 6 IP, 6 ER, ERA at 6.50. Taijuan only gonna need to move an A to relocate for his Mexican Baseball League debut next year.
Paul Skenes – 5 IP, 2 ER, 6 baserunners, 6 Ks, ERA at 2.23. Shame about the no decision, but Rowdy Tellez is the Pirates’ best reliever.
David Bednar – 2/3 IP, 5 ER, ERA at 6.32, and, like, his 35th blown save. Call him David Shit-The-Bednar.
Bryan Reynolds – 3-for-5, 3 runs, 2 RBIs and his 21st homer, and 2nd homer in two games. B-Rey goes from zero to hundred*. (*Degrees) (*Celsius) (*With a British accent)
Connor Joe – 3-for-4, 2 RBIs and his 9th homer, and his 2nd homer in two games. Where’d he come from? Where’d he go? I am inquiring about Connor Eyed Joe.
Pete Crow-Armstrong – 4-for-4, 4 runs, 1 RBI. More like Batstrong. Give me some! No? Okay.
Christian Bethancourt – 3-for-5, 3 runs, 7 RBIs and a slam (5) and legs (2). Two thoughts: Amaya was the Cubs’ catcher who was hot. 2) Grandal is giving a free base to everyone.
Lawrence Butler – 2-for-5, 2 RBIs and a slam (16) and legs (12), and 2nd homer in four games. Went to the Player Rater, expecting to find something like, “Butler’s doing so good, here’s how good!” Instead, I found he’s around the 60th outfielder after Harrison Bader.
Seth Brown – 2-for-4, 4 RBIs and his 11th and 12th homer. Told ya he was a sleeper two years ago! [dodges a tomato thrown] It was for deep leagues! [tomato splats in face]
Brent Rooker – 1-for-5 and his 31st homer. Guess what he’s hitting for average. You know he’s doing well for power! Guess his average! Too slow! It’s .285! Zoinks!
Osvaldo Bido – 6 IP, 2 ER, 3 hits, zero walks, 5 Ks, ERA at 3.21. If I lose one league, it’s gonna be for my insistence of starting Shit-The-Bednar for saves over streaming Bido. Streamonator is a little iffy on Bido’s next one, but I’d start him.
Rhett Lowder – Will be called up for Friday. Now we just need Lowder to face Ober, so we can get the MTV News followed by Remote Control. Maybe someone can find Roman Quinn, so Quinn can introduce Lowder. I’d mention Seth Brown, but Brown was busy going downtown yesterday as evidenced by his wOBA, wOBA, wOBA. So, Itch’s said of Lowder, “A decorated career at Wake Forest pushed Lowder up draft boards and landed him in Cincinnati at 7th overall. He’s an interesting fit. He’s an interesting fit in an unforgiving ballpark, where his plus control and command should help keep the damage mostly limited to solo home runs. We could nitpick at his fastball efficacy or ultimate topside, but he’s gone 26-and-3 in his last two seasons, covering 219.2 innings with a 1.05 WHIP, and I’d whip Grey with my belt.” What on earth, man! Lowder’s command in the minors this year is so pristine, I’d give him a flyer in most leagues. Maybe Zebby Matthews with more Ks. That’s worth rocking out to like you’re on the Headbangers Ball.
Carlos Rodon – 5 2/3 IP, 5 ER, ERA at 4.31. Yanks’ rotation is going to thrive in the playoffs, huh? Yes, of course, they won’t have to face the Nats.
Jazz Chisholm Jr. – 2-for-3 and a slam (22) and legs (28), 2nd homer in two games. If Jazz ends the year with around 25/35, he’ll be undervalued next year. If he ends with 30/30, he’ll be overvalued. Don’t ask me to show my math.
Dylan Crews – 2-for-4, 2 RBIs and his 1st homer. Also, in this game, James Woods (2-for-4, 1 run, 1 RBI) stole three bags (9, 10, 11). Nats gonna be fun next year, y’all!
MacKenzie Gore – 6 IP, 2 ER, 7 baserunners, 6 Ks, ERA at 4.45. Last two games, zero walks and one walk. It may mean: He’s back. Streamonator loves his next one, and I could see getting back in.
Brayan Bello – 8 IP, 0 ER, 3 baserunners, 9 Ks, ERA at 4.66. Pitchers be normal for once challenge: Impossible. Terrible start, awful, miserable, gem! What am I supposed to expect after that?
Tyler O’Neill – 1-for-4, 2 RBIs and his 24th homer. Sadly, he came down with Jimmy Legs rounding the bases and he had to be airlifted away.
Chris Bassitt – 6 2/3 IP, 1 ER, 6 baserunners, 9 Ks, ERA at 4.27. Almost as absurd as Bello’s start. Be normal, please!
Freddy Peralta – 6 IP, 0 ER, 5 baserunners, 8 Ks, ERA at 3.70. Ha, the least normal starter in baseball. The best thing that happened to FreddyKBB yesterday was he threw too many pitches, so he had to be lifted before he undoubtedly blew the game in the 7th. At least we know what to root for with him: Be less efficient.
Kyle Harrison – 4 2/3 IP, 5 ER, ERA at 4.22. That gets the Doom from Big Justice.
Josh Lowe – 1-for-4 and his 9th homer, and 2nd homer in two games. LFL! It’s LFG but the “go” has been replaced by Lowe. Say it with me now, LFL! LFL! I didn’t say Simon says.
Julio Rodriguez – 2-for-4, 2 RBIs and his 12th homer. “I hate to get rid of the body. We could use a new doorstop–Hold up! He moved! Julio’s alive!”
Victor Robles – 2-for-3, 2 RBIs and his 4th homer, hitting .269, and stole two bags the day before. But J.P. Crawford (0-for-3, 1 run) returned from the IL and has to hit leadoff so Robles hit 9th. You know, Crawford, the guy who is hitting .202. To the tune of Won’t Get Fooled Again, “Meet the idiot new manager, same as the idiot old manager!”
Randy Arozarena – 3-for-4, 2 runs and his 18th homer, 2nd homer in two games. Hopefully the M’s bats do come alive, because I always like to get ulcers, and there’s no ulcer quite like hearing, “The new manager unlocked something in the Mariners,” like the new manager is saying, “Swing hard at strikes,” and the last guy was like, “Swing weakly at balls in the dirt.”
Aaron Schunk – 2-for-3 and his 1st homer. Schunk is famous for being the adopted child of Chunk and Sloth from The Goonies. As Schunk rounded the bases, he screamed, “Baby Ruth!”
Spencer Torkelson – 2-for-3, 2 RBIs and his 7th homer, and 2nd homer in two games. Oh my God, it’s happening!!! [sees again it’s August and he has 7 HRs] Happening in moderation.
Shohei Ohtani – 2-for-4, 3 runs and a slam (42) and double legs (41, 42). Bless his heart, he really wants to go 50/50, and I’m not betting against him, so to speak.
Walker Buehler – 4 2/3 IP, 2 ER, ERA at 5.88. Every pitcher now throws 4 2/3 IP.
Corbin Burnes – 5 IP, 1 ER, 5 hits, zero walks, 4 Ks, ERA at 3.23. Two homers allowed though, so maybe he should’ve walked Ohtani instead of letting him do BOMB TIME. By the by, did Manfred secretly shadow ban walking good hitters? Why is anyone pitching to Judge, Witt or Ohtani?
Harrison Bader – 1-for-3, 2 RBIs and his 10th homer. Two mentions of Bader in one post? How good is he? Oh, I know! He must be an ex-Cards’ outfielder!
Eduardo Rodriguez – 5 1/3 IP, 5 ER, ERA at 5.06. Only pitching three times every 18 months must’ve caught up to him. I want to, but it’s impossible to trust him. His Ks and velocity are down, and so little time to wait on guys.
Corbin Carroll – 2-for-5, 5 RBIs and his 16th and 17th homer. Still not running at all, which is puzzling, but you know what he will have going for him next year? He screwed people so badly, his price is going to be so cheap, because lots of people don’t want to be burned again. Instead, people will be like, “Please, burn me for the first time!”
Jorge Soler – 1-for-3 and his 17h homer. Saw he was replaced by Kelenic, assuming for defense, and made me remember we had a solid three years of “Kelenic should be better” discourse, then he disappeared.
David Festa – 6 IP, 2 ER, 3 baserunners, 7 Ks, ERA at 4.89. Dave Party knows how to get down, he knows how to cut the floor, he also knows how to be extremely unlucky. His peripherals are gorgeous — 10.8 K/9, 2.6 BB/9, yum. That and a $5 bus ticket will get you somewhere on the bus for five dollars.
Joe Musgrove – 6 IP, 3 ER, 8 baserunners, 3 Ks, ERA at 4.44. That’s now two straight solid starts. Do I trust him? Not as far as I can throw him, and although I can bench two 10-pound plates, it’s not far.
Andre Pallante – 5 2/3 IP, 2 ER, 10 baserunners, 3 Ks, ERA at 3.80. Opened his stats page to see what he was cooking with and it was a crockpot on low. Nice for ribs, not for pitching.
Bobby Witt Jr. – 2-for-5 and his 28th homer. Just sealed the 2024 AL MVP award! (If it’s revealed Judge has been using an aluminum bat all year.)
Vinnie Pasquantino – 4-for-5 and his 19th homer. You think Vinnie ever shows up at the park with almost-expiring ricotta cheese that he has to eat because otherwise it will go bad? Hmm, maybe his Italian mother is different than mine.
Michael Massey – 1-for-3 and his 11th homer, then replaced by Maikel Garcia in the 6th, which sorta harshes the buzz for the opium of the Massey.
Michael Wacha – 6 IP, 5 ER, ERA at 3.50. [going to lunch whistling] So nice to see Wacha through six innings with only two earned runs. [after lunch] I have indigestion.
Tanner Bibee – 5 IP, 5 ER, ERA at 3.65. Guy Who Just Looks At ERA, “Seeing Bibee and Wacha, which one is better?” Okay, Guy Who Just Looks At ERA is sorta a ding dong merchant, but ERA is a category in your league, right?
Andrew Heaney – 5 IP, 1 ER, 6 baserunners, 2 Ks, ERA at 3.95. Streamonator liked it, because: Of course, it was the White Sox. Things are going great there, by the by:
White Sox announced attendance: 17 pic.twitter.com/Ks9ppz6hfj
— Razzball (@Razzball) August 29, 2024
Wyatt Langford – 2-for-7, 2 runs, 3 RBIs and his 8th homer. Damn, I forgot to point out when he passed his Spring Training home run total of six. Oh well, go back and rub salt in the wounds two homers ago.
Jack Leiter – 4 IP, 2 ER, ERA at 12.83, as he was recalled. That recalling went like this, “Yeah, I don’t think I want to pick him up.”
John Brebbia – Designated for assignment by the White Sox. May I suggest rather than the White Sox DFA players, the players raise their hands for who wants to stay. Since Brebbia was the White Sox closer, that opens the job to…[announcer reads a single digit raffle ticket number, a fan yells and runs out of the stands to the mound].

Happy Alexis Diaz day! *confetti*
Not only do I have him, I left Boyle in my lineup not realizing he got moved to the bullpen. Stud got me a nice hold to go with his 3ER and 3BB in 1/3 of an inning.
Absolutely ruined the ratios from Francis start.
Elly or Gunnar ROS. It’s a small 6×6 roto – AVG & OBP
Bleday first in A’s history with 5 hits/HR/outfield assist in a game.
His catch was insane
Yep. Pretty good throw, too. Runner almost blew it jogging home from 3rd.
Absolutely!
actually thought guy coming home hadn’t reached home yet, but I guess he had
Hiura is on a bonkers AAA tear (again).
147AB 20HR .354BA 1.220OPS (In PCL)
He is 8th in HR and everyone else has 370+ AB. 3rd in BA. 8th in OBP. 1st in SLG and OPS.
Dude is the Lucy to my Charlie Brown pulling the football.
Should try his hand in KBO
Bobby Miller or Walker Buehler rest of season Thanks!!
Neither? You have to have a Dodgers SP? Miller, I guess
Inspired by SteveNZ’s rant below: Do we have a glossary term for when a pitcher on your fantasy roster gets rocked but manages to get a few strike outs … mostly against hitters also on your roster?
Shaken baby syndrome
Don’t think we do
Are you using francis today at Boston? 12 team roto. Devers is out again. Streamanator doesn’t like him, but probably hasn’t liked him any time. Thanks
I am in some leagues, not in others, it feels risky
Gotcha. Matchup not so good + high pitch count last time could be a trap.
I am tho in some leagues, but yeah
Whoops. I was wrong like usual. I know what’s going to happen when I start him.
Too be fair he only threw 70 pitches so the pitch count concern was valid. Thing is he managed 7IP on it. Whole team needed 95 for the entire game.
An unerring ability to roster/pick up the guy who goes hitless in a run-fest.
Is a talent I say!
And Jesus Sanchez just confirms it. With the bases loaded. For fuck’s sake.
HAHA
THEY HAVE SCORED 12 RUNS AND HE IS 0/5
HE IS $55 ON THE HITTERTRON
YES YES YES LET THE HATE FLOW
Haha
Yeouch
In the interests of balance (and lowercase type), I did batty call Bleday, er, today and he is 3/3 with a dinger. And I streamed Civale.
But let me close off this tirade with the fact that the Astros scored 10 runs yesterday and the Marlins 12 today. Across those two games – that’s 22 total runs – Pena and Sanchez – my guys – were a combined 0/10. That takes some doing.
that comment was half-filled with positivity, ha — that is not easy, no
Makes you feel any better I have Toglia. Rockies have scored 8 runs in 3 straight games and he is 2-10, with 2 runs, and 3 walks, and nothing else.
I also have Y. Diaz who got to sit out the 10-0 slugfest vs Phillies.
Whomp whomp. :(
Yikes-a-roo
Which 2 sit next week?
N. Cortes @ CHI
Fried vs COL
Morton vs COL
Gore @ MIA
Gausman @ ATL
Peterson vs BOS
R. Nelson @ SF
Bibee @ KC
BTW this staff currently has a DC of mine in 1st
Good example of using your advice on SP
Same on RP – Finnegan, M. Miller and K. Yates
Nice on the 1st! I wouldn’t trust Nelson or Cortes, but Bibee and Gaus scare too
Lean Cortes and Gausman, thanks brother man
No problem
Adolis sucks this year.
(Sad face)
He does
was hyped to get him. didnt have him last year so didnt watch as much. I feel like I began watching the Alien movies and started with Alien 3.
Two Questions:
Julio showed signs of life but I still hesitate to trust him. I’m thinking of picking up Lawrence Butler and starting over Julio through the weekend. Good idea?Any chance Heaney pitches Sunday? Some sites are listing Dunning but if there’s a chance Heaney will go, I want to hold.
I’d start Butler — no idea on Heaney
Today. He would start Butler today. Not wait for the weekend. Like now.
Haha
Heaney started yesterday, I highly doubt they are going to have him start again on 3 days rest
Rangers get 1 run and 3 hits off the flipping snake from Harry Potter.
Meanwhile Derek “King of the” Hill generic player extraordinaire hits another HR for second in as many days.

he did!

March, “Pick #1, Acuna, can’t lose, shame you have pick 10!” Now, “Umm…”
So I finally cut goldy and he’s now gone 9 for his last 19. I want to punch something. He literally had that many hits over the last month that I owned him.
How I feel about Arenado. Plug him in, sucks, bench, miss heater. Losing hair over this clown. I hate him soooo much.
There’s something I never expected to see this season – Goldy IBB.
Ouch
Afternoon & Happy International Day against Nuclear Tests.
I’m fully in support… or against this day… I’m a bit confused,… screw it, Happy National Chop Suey Day instead!
Anyway, I need to make the call whether to activate Bobby Miller since he starts today vs. BAL.
He didn’t look terrible in his last start (just good enough to give me pause, not bad enough to assure me he’s a drop).
You holding/ cutting? If holding, I’d need to drop one of the following SP’s:
• Jeff Springs
• Erod (pitching today v. NYM
Or one of my bench bats (J. Holliday/ Caminero)
P.S. I can continue to hold him in my NA slot; I just can’t make any adds/ drops since he’s no longer “officially N/A”.
Thanks as always!
I do love Chop Suey, ERod better not pitch again today…I’d hold Miller in NA or drop him
ha, maybe since Erod allowed 5 runs yesterday, his punishment is to pitch again today?
Thanks again.
i’ll continue to hold & see how he looks until i need to really make room/
Haha maybe! No problem
How bad has the Rangers offense been?
Rangers have 29 games to score 60 runs to pass the 1994 114 game strike shortened seasons total runs.
So far today they have gotten 1 run in 4IP off Nastrini and his 8+ ERA coming into the game.
Also, I feel confident I could strikeout Adolis. Why? Dude can not layoff pitches. Some of the worst hacks ive seen. Dude is taking up the mantle from Javy Baez. Last two AB in this game are ridiculous.
Seager on team and cant copy an approach? Not 1 pitch in the zone.
Has become Javy Baez
…..destoyer of dreams
Hehe
Damn, hadn’t realized it was that bad
So much for montero today. I saw maeda blanked LAA for 4+ ip and got a W yesterday. I shouldn’t have looked at the score. That’s twice I got burned this week. It was 1 run allowed after 4 when I looked. Did the same thing with wacha yesterday.
Of course the guy I play against starts corbin against nyy and gets 6 shut out innings, a win and qs.
I have the worst luck streaming. Today didn’t work out, but honestly it usually is much worse.
Yeah, I thought it might work too, it wasn’t awful, but alas
Yes, not terrible. Worth a shot given my situation and league depth. @sd next, no thanks. He then has either vs col or @ oak. I’m ashamed to admit that I looked that far ahead for him.
Haha
Who you prefer for ROS:
Joe Musgrove or Clarke Schmidt?
Thanks!!!
Joe
thanks!
No problem
I went from O’Floppe (0-4) to Amaya (DNP) to ADC (DNP) … WINNING!!!
Haha
Do you find it odd that people (rightly) hate the A’s ownership and not the players, yet somehow the White Sox players get hated on but not the ownership?
Yes here and people with a deeper knowledge notice, but it seems the general narrative and if someone was really a casual that this seems to be the tone. Very much “those poor As and awful owners” and “Jeeeeeez CWS SUX” (and yeah they do) but quietly terrible ownership as well. Agree or disagee?
Nah, I think Jerry Reinsdorf is hated by everyone…My wife doesn’t follow baseball but is from Chicago and knows to hate him
I mean people in Chicago know. Just in general nationally? I legit didnt know how awful he was until that Jordan doc and realized owner of CWS as well.
It was definitely a blind spot for me personally. Completely missed it.
Hmm, maybe, I don’t know…those who know, know he sucks
Think The Last Dance was the time when it filled in most people
Oh and Brebbia got released just now…..so Go CWS! Get that record!
In a ten team league that counts Losses and Total Bases against pitchers, can I drop Lugo who is looking at HOU, CLE, and NYY and pick up Houck for his matchup in DET tomorrow?
Yes, drop Lugo
As if getting railroaded by Ober wasn’t enough, I’ve had to endure Diaz and Duran crapping the bed this week. That’s 15 er in a total of 2.2 ip this week for my roto team.
Those two “elite” closers either don’t get save opportunites or they come in and $hit up the place when they finally get one.
Ha, yeah
Btw, you nailed the bednar blurb
haha
Arrighetti earned his third and Houston’s 7th appearance on the 100 Best Fantasy Starts list. Bello grabbed a top 25 slot for Boston’s 4th entry.
8 Tanner Houck Apr 17 vs CLE
10 Ronel Blanco Apr 1 vs TOR
22 Brayan Bello Aug 28 vs TOR
35 Spencer Arrighetti Jun 26 vs COL
50 Nick Pivetta Jun 5 vs ATL
70 Spencer Arrighetti Aug 10 @BOS
74 Ronel Blanco Jun 16 vs DET
78 Spencer Arrighetti Aug 28 @PHI
86 Tanner Houck Apr 1 @OAK
89 Framber Valdez Aug 18 vs CHW
93 Framber Valdez Jun 7 @LAA
That was only the 78th best start and Bello was 22nd?! Wow
Yeah, those BBs pushed Arrighetti down. 6 baserunners in 7 2/3 compared to 3 in 8 IP. The top 100 are all great starts, so being a little worse can knock one down a fair distance.
Ah, gotcha

1. I’ve got 2 Bench bats and 4 Bench pitchers. At this stage & coupled with the available talent (& hot schmotatoes) I would assume I can lose the Bench bats I favour of extra pitching. My thoughts are drop 1 or 2 of: Adolis, Paredes, & Fitzgerald and pick

kinda can’t believe you’re still starting Arenado…can you get him out of your lineup?
Drop Edwin Diaz for Foley Hodge or Joyce or hold? Thanks
Hold
Master Boba. Going through the comments I had a question and they had 2 different answers. How you feeling at this very moment to start Francis at Boston today lol
Seems risky, I am in one league bc I can handle the risk, i.e., I have ratio room to lose
I hear ya chief
Lose Royce Lewis or Toglia for PCA?
Toglia if you need SBs
Don’t really need the steals. Playoffs next week so I’m just tinkering and looking for best bat overall. Can’t stop tinkering
Ha, I hear ya
Start S.Gray vs SD today?
Yes
Who is the drop to bring Riley Greene off the IL: Semien, Hoerner, Adames, Bellinger, or Royce Lewis?
Greene
Okay, thanks!
No problem
There’s no pain more exquisite than watching a championship slip out of your grasp because your pitchers won’t stop crapping the bed, as your Obers and your Diazs fail spectacularly down the stretch. As they drag me away in a straight jacket I’ll be muttering to myself “When I start him, he sucks, when I sit him or drop him, he’s Koufax” over and over again
so there with you. ober-wan bendover
HA
Bednar did it to me yesterday, and Wacha didn’t help as he was supposed to
“Man this guy is looney. Talking about baseball one minute. The next, working with someone to send paperwork via telephone lines.”
Haha
“I said Koufax, not co-fax!” Sure, sure, Pops, let’s just get you into your nice new room
Haha
“The hell is a Koufax?!”
Reminds me of stories during Battle of Bulge where Germans disguised as Americans caused chaos behind enemy lines. Americans started using baseball knowledge and state trivia to verify as American.
General Bruce Clarke was asked what league Cubs were in, he replied “American League”. GET THE GERMAN IMPOSTER!!!
Got detained for a free hours IIRC.
Another good one was an MP detained Omar Bradley for thinking the capital of Illinois was Springfield and not Chicago. Which, you know, it is.
Haha, reminds me of the Germans seeing the three fingers being held up in Inglorious Bastards
Funny thing is that my first teacher taught us to count by starting with thumb. I did until probably 3rd-4th grade and obviously dropped it. I never thought anything of it until watching it. Then was like oh, OHHHHHHH, my first teacher was likely some European or someone who had been born there in military perhaps. Teacher was Mrs Schreiber lol, so super German. As a kid it never occurs to you. Though I believe most Europeans count that way not specifically Germans?
Yeah, I think you’re right
Josh Lowe and Luis Robert have been frustrating to own this season, but we have to remember they’ve both missed half the year due to injuries and are sitting at 77 and 76 games played and 256 at bats in Lowe’s case. So (calling Mr. Prorater) if we double Lowe’s stats so far we get .238 / 18 / 58 / 34 for a full season which while not as strong as his 2023 line when he went .292 / 20 / 83 / 32 would be certainly useable. Same thing with LouBob, Mr Prorater comes up with .224 / 28 / 66 / 42 which would also be useable in fantasy (but that batting average, yuck). Also, looking at LouBob’s career stats I note his 21 steals this season are a career high. Last year he stole 20 bases in 145 games, this year 21 steals in 76 games. Almost like he’s sending a message to other teams, “get me TF out of the south side of Chicago please”. LOL.
Yeah, I guess that’s fair, I will defer to Mr. Prorater
DeGrom will see his work load increased to 3 IP next rehab.
Incredible stuff!
Lmao!
Conner Joe had me shocked he had single digit HR. I remember adding on his hot start thinking maybe a .270 20 HR year (was hitting .293 at time).
Guy had 6 HR by May 14. From then until August 26 he had 1 HR and 10 RBI.
Barf.
HAHAHA, yup

Ha! Exactly
i am amused by my own obsession with trying to get in the glossary again
I enjoy it too!
Is there a term for someone desperate to come up with a glossary term?
The Oaktown!
i’ll take it!
You made me laugh out loud twice, the announced attendance and the closer raffle. Thank you, I needed that!
Thanks!
Does Edwin Díaz ever give up a double? Feels like every hanger ends up in the seats. outside of 2022, when he was fantastic, he’s wrecked more games for the Mets than any closer I’ve ever seen.
Haha
Hi Grey,
Hope you are having a great week!
Two tricky matchups:
1. Would you start or sit Francis at Boston?
I was leaning yes. The Razz dollars say no. What would you recommend?
2. Would you start or sit Cristopher
Sanchez at Atlanta? I was very slightly leaning no. The Razz dollars say yes with a plus 20. What are your thoughts about to start or sit him?
2. Would you pick up Joe Musgrove? His next start is home vs Detroit. Do you consider him a steamer?
Thanks so very much!!!
thanks!
No problem
In a league that punishes home runs and inefficiency…are you worried about Sanchez at home against Atlanta today? Braves have been hot and Sanchez looks tired. I used that logic yesterday with Bibee but made a last-minute decision to start him. Sit today?
Also, I have King at St. Louis, but I think that’s a start, right?
Yes
Sounds fine
12 team h/h points … gave one SPing spot open … Lively or Arrighetti ROS
Arrighetti
Bednar has been crap, no doubt. But the D hasn’t done him any favors either. Out of the 6 BS, half was cuz the D played a part (f’d up a throw, couldn’t turn a dp, etc.). Lucky for him, Chapman wasn’t much better yesterday.
I guess

Tyler Fitzgerald or Jake Mcarthy ros? Tia
Tyler
Hi Grey,
of course, I sat Arrighetti.
My main OF is Profar, Duran and Rooker.
The backups are Coswer and Jj Bieday.
1. Would you cut Bieday or Coswer to pick up Butler?
2. I have been playing Profar, Duran and Rooker and only play Bieday or Coswer when my three OFs are not playing. Is this a good strategy?
Thanks so much!
Thanks!!
No problem
3 dongs for Yordon and no write up? Where’s the love? :)
It’s in the Arrighetti lead blurb
No he is clearly looking for Yordon Olvarez. Jeez!

Civale vs Giants
Taillon @ Nationals
Tobias Myers @ Reds
Thanks!
Cody B, Civale, don’t love a third, Houck
Hey Grey, Bowden Francis or Houck ROS? Injuries and team-wide slumps have dropped me from 1st, where I have been for the entire season, down to 4th in my H2H league and these next 2 weeks are going to determine whether I make the top tier playoffs or miss them and move on to football. HELP PLEASE!
Bowden
I managed to secure a bye in the first round of my H2H playoffs but seeing so many of my guys hit last night has me sweating next week’s lineup choices already. I’m planning on consulting Hittertron as well, but I wanted your read as well. Which outfielder sits:
Happ
Julio
Butler
Teo
Honksey
Crews
I also roster E! so speed is less of a factor in this decision.
Thanks!
