The code I cracked? Not the Da Vinci Code or The Code, a movie I think I saw that I can’t remember seeing or who was in it and Google no longer works. This time, I cracked the NFBC code by drafting the best team I’ve ever drafted in forever. Forever, forever ever? Forever ever? Forever never seems that long until you’re grown and drafting from your home. The best team ever. Usually, I leave these drafts with a mixture of regret and meh. A rueful meh. Mehful. Not this time. This time I managed to draft a team I really like, which confirms to me how awful this team is going to be. Oh, it’s gonna be big awful because I love it. All right, get ready to feast your peepers! For those unfamiliar, it’s a 50-round draft and hold, so no waivers. It’s 15-team, two catchers and weekly for pitchers, and bi-weekly for hitters. Anyway, here’s my Draft Champions draft recap:
PSYCHE! The first week’s Buy/Sell is already available for Patreon members. It will be released all year early for Patreons, so if people are getting a jump on you, it’s because they paid the $10. Anyway, the draft recap:

OH MY GOD, YOU GOT TOMMY TROY!!!
Are you being sarcastic?
YES. OKAY, YOU’RE DYING TO DO IT SO DO IT.
You’re right, I am. Here’s my War Room totals:
HMM, IT SEEMS LIKE IT DOES WELL ON THE WAR ROOM, BUT ISN’T BASEBALL PLAYED ON A FIELD NOT IN A WAR ROOM.
I see what you’re doing, but you can’t knock the enthusiasm out of me.
I WILL TRY! YOUR PITCHING IS BORING WITH LITTLE UPSIDE.
Who needs upside? Not this guy with two thumbs pointing directly at himself! I wouldn’t write a Nathan Eovaldi sleeper, because he’s boring, this is true. If valuable is boring! Why is Nathan Eovaldi always so underrated? Serious question. Drafted before him was Tyler Glasnow — can’t throw more than 120 IP — Trey Yesavage — has never thrown 120 IP in the majors. Actually, hasn’t thrown 20 IP — Emmet Sheehan — has thrown 133 2/3 IP, in his career — Cam Schlittler — has 73 career IP. Okay, you get the idea. I love these guys (except Glasnow). I am in on them. I wrote an Emmet Sheehan sleeper. Eovaldi is in front of all these guys. Eovaldi threw 130 IP last year, and was 42nd overall on the Player Rater. Eovaldi hasn’t had an ERA over 4.00 since 2019 when he was in Fenway. He pitches in the best pitchers’ park in Texas and is one of the safest pitchers.
IF EOVALDI WASN’T BORING ENOUGH, YOU DECIDED TO FOLLOW THAT WITH RANGER SUAREZ AND JOE MUSGROVE, HUH? YOUR PITCHING REMINDS OF THAT TIME I WATCHED A POT OF WATER BOIL. BOY, WAS THAT EXCITING.
Even though Hunter Brown is one of the best starters and coming off a season that was excellent, he has upside. He could supplant Skubal and Skenes as the top pitchers in baseball. Insane thought? Well, Crochet was the top pitcher last year so Skubal and Skenes never were. Casey Mize’s Ks went up 5% and 6.9 K/9 to 8.4. Mean’swhile, his walks dropped from 2.6 BB/9 to 2.2. He is headed into his first full season after his breakout and was considered a top prospect. Impossible to say how long it takes to break out for a pitcher, but Mize about to make me smize.
WAS THAT AN AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL REFERENCE?
Yeah, good, right?
OPPOSITE OF THAT WAS WHAT I WAS THINKING. ALL RIGHT, HOW ABOUT YOUR HITTING. LOOKS GOOD…[SCANNING DOWN] HOLD UP! YOU SAID YOU DIDN’T WANT ANDY PAGES THIS YEAR?! YOU FARKIN FREAKIN LIAR!
All right, here’s how that went down. This is what I was looking at in the War Room at that exact moment:
I just drafted Eovaldi so no pitchers, and needed an outfielder, so it was between Butler, Nimmo and Pages. At that point, I was on tilt for steals, so I was leaning Pages or Butler. The War Room told me Pages was the best selection for across the board stats and I had built a five-category team to that point. Plus, he had a small edge in steals to Nimmo. At pick 141, it says I would have a 20% of getting Pages and, lo and behold, he was there, so it also felt like I was getting a bargain. His ADP was 128.7 and I was at 141. I really needed steals, though, so I was leaning Butler, but the War Room told me I would have a 35% chance of him being there for my 11th round pick at pick 160, and even a 7% chance at pick 171. So, I went Pages, then crossed my fingers Butler would make it back, and he did. I could go through every draft pick like this.
PLEASE DON’T.
Maybe one more.
UGH.
I needed an MI and I needed power. I was at pick 280 and in round 19. I was met by this:
At that point, ADP didn’t really come into play. I just wanted a regular (so looked at PA) and I wanted the most power. Quickly scanning down, you see Nolan Gorman has the best power of the available options and also the most plate appearances. If being honest, Colt Keith and Brooks Lee were interesting. Neither had power I wanted, but Lee’s position eligibility was attractive and Colt Keith’s average was enticing. I was intrigued, y’all! Ended up taking a negative in average and went NoGo.
THIS WAS MORE THAN I EVER WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR DRAFTING.
Come on, it was kinda interesting.
NO.
I can’t lose this league and that bothers you.
HERE’S WHAT I THINK ABOUT THE FUTURE OF YOUR TEAM:

Rank a couple of Free Agent SPs in a 12-teamer: K. Harrison, L. Henderson, Kikuchi.
You did
12 Team H2H 6×6 w/ SVHD’s & QS
Please rank the top 3 of following options:
Brash, Maton, King, Whitlock, Santillian, Vest, Scott
Wishing you well in all your leagues this season!
Thanks! Whitlock, Vest, Brash
I reviewed your rankings. Got messick in one league. I have room in another. Do you prefer Messick now that he made the team or a “safe” guy like Kelly who is going to miss the first 2 weeks? Qs league.
Try Messick
Good luck!
You too!
Who should I add in my NL only league? OBP and W+QS league. Innings are my biggest need, but also could use one more OF.
Adolis Garcia, Justin Crawford, Jung Hoo Lee, Friedl, Steer, O’Hearn, Manaea, Didier Fuentes, or Sproat
Adolis
12 team mixed league auction keepers

$1 Messick

Hi Mr. Grey,
I waited way too late to draft a 3rd basemen. I got stuck with Paredes in the 19th round. He was terrible last year and I only selected him because of his ADP at that point.
Do I keep him? Drop him for:
Bohm
Jordan Westburg
Ernie Clement
Miguel Vargas
Marcelo Mayer
Colt Keith
Mark Vientos
Brooks Lee
Or do I throw caution to the wind and pick up Karros, which my itchy gut is hankering for?
Thanks! Have a great season!
Meh, see how the season starts then you can go with a hot bat if Paredes isn’t good
Late trade question: Which side, close?
Teoscar and Stephenson for Goodman and Leiter
Thanks
Goodman
Ok, league #2 for me here. 10 team 5×5 roto w/ OBP, 6 keepers. I went all in and won last year (yay!) but that meant I did not have picks in 12th, 14th, 20th, or 22nd, and then extras in 25th+. Plus I had the 9th pick so entire closer runs went between my picks. thoughts?

Pitching is excellent, you have three aces…kinda iffy RPs, but that’s fine…I think your hitting is stacked too…your keepers are insane, it’s a solid team
Forgot to mark Skubal and Kirby as Keepers too!
Thanks!
$1 bubba vs $6 nico h NL only
Gonna say Bubba this time but only because you asked five times this exact question
Having bi polar moment w partner he says bubba I said nico so u said nico 5x?
HAHA, I think yo8u can get either back if you want them…Nico is great; Bubba might be at some point but he can’t find the plate
I was excited about Ponce after his year in Korea. His spring ratios are great, but averaging the same K/9 as he did his last stint in MLB with increased velo. He also hasn’t faced a teams best hitters when he has pitched. I knew his K/9 from Korea wouldn’t translate, but expected better K rates with the increased velo and repertoire. What are your thoughts on him after the spring results? Early or Ponce?
Spring means nothing as far as ratios…
In a 10t H2H league is Shane Beiber worth a stash?
2 IL spots
Sure
four final decisions in AL 10 league 260 draft cap
Extension questions:
-Colson Montgomery at 4, 1 year extension at 9, 2 year extension for 14
-Pepiot at 2, 1 year extension at 7, 2 year extension for 12
-Eovaldi at 4, 1 year extension at 9, 2 year extension for 14
-Should I keep Ian Seymour for 4
thank you for your advice
BTW, in a different league, we get 1 18th round keeper and I rolled the dice with Lile, thank you and rooting for something good!
Nice!
Colson at 9, pepiot at 7, eovaldi at 9 and Seymour at 4
Hey Grey. Happy Opening Night Eve! 10-team keeper league with OBP, QS, and S+H instead of Average, Wins, and Saves. Please let me know your thoughts on this team. Drafted it late last week before some of these injuries. I hate my 2B, but it was slim pickings after keepers were submitted.

I don’t mind Edwards…Kelly is kinda useless…I like the team overall tho! I think you have solid hitting and good balance…might light on speed, why Edwards makes sense…pitching is excellent, don’t see anything bad there
Thank you very much. I really appreciate you taking the time.
By the way, I used your SP rankings as my guide again, specifically the “Bon Varyage” and “Getting fitted for a Tuxedo shirt” sections.
I couldn’t believe how successful that strategy has been over the past few years. I cleaned up with pitchers in your rankings from 8 (Gilbert) to 46 (Boyd). Thank you again. Hopefully, it works out like it has the past few years.
No problem
This is a question for Rudy – will the SON/HT be updated again before opening day?
I am sure it will, things get updated hourly right now
You can look up most of the individual hitters and it shows their upcoming game info.
Ohhhh goody! We’re doing draft analysis? We’re 10 team this year when we’re usually 12, so it’s hard to judge how I did. Left off bench guys that I don’t anticipate keeping long:
C: Agustin Ramirez
1B: Vinnie Pasquantino
2B: Jazz Chisholm
3B: Maikel Garcia
SS: Gunnar Henderson
OF: Julio Rodriguez
OF: James Wood

leafy greens on the bench is a nice addition, keep you regular….I think the hitting and pitching look awesome, maybe a tad low on sheer quantity of SPs, i.e., I’d like to see another SP and less Cole Sands….hitting can’t be argued with, methinks
Awesome, thanks for feedback, and positive feedback no less, my OTI friend! You know the word for how I feel about you (don’t use it! shhh). Okay, so Cole Sands gets me for maybe ending up as that rare, valuable closer you can play in an SP spot. As for SP depth, I agree—and will be asking you questions about guys for all of April and May. Thank you thank you thank you!!!
Of course! No problem!
HI Grey,
I noticed that over the last two days that three pitchers have gone five innings with giving up only one hit and striking out five:
Matthew Liberatore
Luis Gil (sent to minors)
Zac Elfin
When Rodon goes on the IL list, would you pick up of any of the above three SPs,Jacob Lopez, Casey Mize, Cade Cavalli or a hitter and who to drop from the following?
Logan Gilbert
Jacob deGrom
Framber Valdez
Cam Schlitter
MacKenzie Gore
Tatduya Imai
Shane Baz
Grant Holmes
Mich Abel
Cody Ponce
Will Warren
Carlos Rodon DTD
RP: Jax
THANKs!!!
Eflin when Rodon goes to IL
Thank you!!
No problem
So you dropped Cavalli for Warren after Grey advised to stand pat?
I see you rank Oslon one spot ahead of Devers. In a league that uses AVG, OBP and SLG would you take Olson or Devers for you 1B?
Take Olson
Early wins a rotation spot. He went 119 2/3 IP last year between minors and majors. How many do you think the Sox will let him go this year?
140
Do you prefer Eflin or Early in a 10 team points league?
Thank you again!!
I’d try Early
Hi Grey – baseball is here!
Keep 10 players, 7×5 H2H 10 team. Just finished the draft and here is my team:

Bench: Bazzana (K), Caglianone (K), Matt Shaw, Jasson Dominguez
SP: Skenes (K), Woo (K), McClanahan, Bubba Chandler, Imanaga, Alcantara
RP: Santana, Bryan Abreu
Was offered George Kirby and Mason Miller for Caglianone and Bubba Chandler.
Should I take that? I really believe in Cags long term but that package fits my current team well.
Thanks!
LG
I’d want Kirby, it’s not close
McGonigle?
McGonigle!
I read your about post about Delauter last year. He seems like a decent add while he is healthy since I have room. Not sure if he has ever been this healthy to start a season. The other option is benge. This is an obp league though. I thought Delauter would have the better obp but the he seems to have Royce Lewis syndrome. What do you think?
I’d try DeLauter
It doesn’t look like Pepiot’s injury is too bad and he should be out only a few weeks. Should this affect where he is picked in the draft?

10 team 5×5 daily transaction league where nearly all teams roster 10-11 starting pitchers and rotate them through the 4 or 5 available active slots while keeping 4 closers active. 30 man rosters along with a (rapidly growing already) discard pile (for players like, ahem, D Crews who I drafted but then replaced with J Beck) so around 350 to 400 players in the pool by the end of May or so. Thanks.
I could…I like the hitting a lot, looks well balanced, maybe a tad low on power, kinda depends on Olson, Willy and Jazz…I like the pitching, tho you look a little iffy on RPs, not bad tho…I like the team overall! (Don’t love Cease, but that’s a small thing)
Thanks. Kept Cease over Snell who I just read yesterday is not expected to appear in an MLB game until the end of May at the earliest. Same story as last year, it seems.

Hey Grey,
Looking at SS today – I have Konner Griffin already, but with the Pirates doing Pirate things, who knows when we’ll see him in the majors… so, who do you recommend I snag out of the following for now and, or later?
Trevor “Same ol’ IL” Story
Willie “Warning Track” Adames
Dansby “Hungry Man” Swanson
JJ I don’t know Whether-he’ll-holt up all season in the leadoff spot
Kevin McGonigiggle Me Elmo
Xander Don’t Boegarts my joint
or I Otto “be starting someone other than” Lopez
Thanks in advance, I appreciate your wit and insight.
McGonigle!
Yo Grey!
12 team points league. HR’s +4, Strikeouts -1, SB’s +1.5, etc.
My SS is my weak spot. Adames, J Smith, or McGonigle (just made the team!)
Thanks in advance!
McGonigle
16 team h2h league, my choice to replace Pepiot would be?
Lauer, Warren, Junk, Soroka, Manaea, Ober, Littel, 54 year old veterans Verlander and Scherzer!
..waiver wire already looking bleek!
Thankyou
Meh, I’d just wait for a streamer or to see who emerges…guess if you have to Scherzer
Last roster spot in a weekly OPS league:
Moniak or Stanton (while he’s healthy)?
Stanton
Messick, Lugo, Ian Seymour, or Wacha?
Putting Pepiot on IL.
Messick
Feels like first week of July last season when I lost 4 pitchers in one day to IL..
Ouch
Greetings Earthling-
Who’s the drop:
Mike Burrows
Mick Abel
Luis Castillo (velocity down, getting lit up all spring.. but it’s spring)
thx
haha, Abel
you’d rather Castillo than Burrows I assume?
Yeah…Castillo had a 5 K?9 last spring training…and his velo is fine…you’re panicking
Hi Grey
1st draft on EPSN for a long time !! but what are those ranklings ? !
10 Teams Keepers here are my 1st picks :
Pick 10-11 : Elly + Julio Rod vs yours 5-6th GREAT for 1st round !
Pick 30-31 : Jazz + Kurtz vs yours 17-19th GREAT
Pick 50-51 : Eury Perez + Johan Duran vs 102-66th as League went pichers HEAVY from the start – REACH
Pick 70-71 : James Wood + Josh Naylor vs yours 20-35th GREAT+ i have 2 top 1B
Pick 90-91 : Eugenio Suarez + Emmet Sheehan vs 90-99th
Pick 110-111 : Oneil Cruz + Zach Neto vs yours 96-27th !!!
Pick 190-191 : Noelvi Marte + Konnor Griffin 100th-136th
other draftees in this list ! should be a top batting team and average overall pitching!
Good IF like Mc Lain are still avb, Luis Garcia, Murakami, Lawlar
and some good RPs
SP is so depleted …
Nice!
Drafted Wetherholt with my first pick of the reserve draft and now it looks like he will be leading off (at least against righties). But I have no place to put him with Elly, Keaschall, Albies and Yelich in my SS, 2B, MI and U slots. Offer him up for someone like McClanahanahan (I need SP with Pepiot down and Lodolo questionable)? Or just hold for now.
Thakns.
Sure
Jordan Beck or Mickey Moniak … who does better from Rockies?
Moniak
Nice recap!
In a H2H league, 12 teamer, do you move Wheeler up given he could be back by mid-April? I always assume I will make the playoffs so tend to be more patient with situations like this. Top 55-60 in H2H or ??
Sure, I could see that in an H2H for playoffs consideration, maybe top 75
Mr Grey – i just got hit with Pepiot to IL – after all my reading and seeing who is available – M Abel or P Messick – seems they both got rotation
Damn…Messick
thank you – if you are ever in naples florida – dinner on me
Thanks!
Damn nothing on Fantrax about Pepiot yet..
It’s coming, I’m sure of it
@Greg B with insider information?
No, the Rays announced it, Fantrax is just behind I guess
10-team ESPN h2h categories league Any moves you’d recommend making?
(Adding Shane Mclanahan or Tatsuya Imai are probably the most tempting moves at the moment but I’m not sure, my rotation is very high risk high upside. I also like Lile and Wetherholt, but the league is probably too shallow, I wanted to do 12team or 4-5 outfielders)
anyway here’s My team:
C- Ben Rice
1b- Spencer Torkelson
2b- Ozzie Albies
3b- Manny Machado
SS- Elly De La Cruz
Of- Kyle Tucker
Of- Brent Rooker
Of- Mike Trout
Utility- Jac Caglianone
Bench-Kazuma Okamoto
Sp- Bryan Woo, Nolan McLean, Bubba Chandler, Mackenzie Gore, Chase Burns, Jacob Misiorowski
Rp- Cade Smith, Garret Whitlock
IL- Spencer Strider, Hunter Greene, Ryan Pepiot
I have one waiver pickup I can do without dropping anyone since moving Pepiot to IL
Solid Available players:
Hitters- JJ wetherholt, Carson Benge, Kevin Mcgonigle, Alec Burleson, Marcus Semien, Daylen Lile, Jonathan Aranda, Kyle Manzardo, Dylan Crews, Royce Lewis
Pitchers- Tatsuya Imai, Andrew Painter, Shane Mclanahan, Roki Sasaki, Cade Horton, Edward Cabrera, Kris Bubic, Jack Flaherty, Clay Holmes, Tyler Rogers, Will Vest, Adrian Morejon, Luke Weaver, Camilo Doval, Matt Brash, Matt Strahm
I’d grab Imai
Hi Grey. Would Friedl or Canzone be a drop for Dylan Beavers ? Just wondering if Beavers gets enough ab ? On the pitching side i have Ian Seymore but should i maybe take someone like Matz instead ? Thanks for the help
Hold
I meant to ask this yesterday. I drafted Dylan Crews before he was sent down.
I have one NA spot to use for a prospect. Is he worth the stash or should I take the L and try a prospect who is liekly to be called up (eldridge or others who were not drafted). From what I read Crews was sent down because he refuses to make adjustments. Thanks
I don’t know who else is available but I doubt he’s the best you can do
I honestly have to look at proximity and upside. Need to review some of Itch’s stuff or soon to appear Stash list. Eldridge came to mind because I saw he was sent down and I thought he was going to have a spot
Yeah, I hear ya
H2H
Otto Lopez or Luis Garcia ( Wash)?
Lopez
Should I drop a boring “team streamer” like Wacha for a Didier stash? I usually have a stable of Wacha types to plug based on matchups….didier seems interesting though

Glad to see we share some players but overall, not sure how i feel about this years team in a 11 team OBP league. Any holes stand out to you? Also is it obvious i read your sleeper articles?

Speaking of slightly boring pitchers…
M.Burrows
J.Cantillo
P.Messik
Does 1 particularly seem less boring?
Also im 1000% back in on L.Rengifo going 20/25/.290. Milwaukee will fix him.
I ended up with Noelvi at 3b in the league I won last year and not at all at peace with it.
I like them all…Cantillo

Thanks! I’ll probably drop Canzone if he struggles or doesn’t get much playing time early. It’s H2H so I’ll be using SON as my weekly matchups dictate. Love all the Razz content!
Thanks!
Last roster spot…who do I fill it with Josh Lowe or Bryce Matthews….12 team dynasty 5×5…your pitching staff looks solid! Kind of like your high school sweet heart, dependable, supportive compared to the sexy bombshell that’s gonna run out on you…like Kenny Rogers Lucille…
Lowe — thanks!

Your pitching looks excellent, a ton of arms and Miller, which I’m not sure how you pulled off…Hitting looks solid if a bit light on power, maybe that’s how you got that great of a staff
Robert Jr a good bench bat or just a constant source of frustration? I am deciding between him or some of the young guys like DeLauter, Benge, Lawlar…
Worth pointing out this is dynasty
I’d go Robert
I’ve got 1 roster spot to fill for a hitter; 1 for a pitcher. I believe I’m pretty well rounded for positions/stats at the moment. Who would you be most interested in of these players that are on the wire? 12 team league H2H.
Hitters:
Luis Garcia
Xander Bogaerts
Marcell Ozuna
Dom Canzone
Miguel Vargas
Evan Carter
Coby Mayo
SPs
Bryce Miller
Parker Messick
Jacob Lopez
Justin Steele
Jeffrey Springs
Messick
The answer is all those young guys are shiny new Ferraris, and Nathan Eovaldi is llke Gus Fring’s Volvo. I love Schlittler but when it came time to pick my last keeper I went with Corey Seager over him. In hindsight I probably would have cut Riley Greene loose, because as it turned out, other teams kept way more SP’s this year than past years. it’s a H2H league where wins are 10 pts. Lot of OF’s were available. .
We love the Volvo, don’t we fellas, dependable!
Drop one in a SOLDS league – Weaver, Cleavinger, Beeter, Brash?
Beeter

Made the finals as an 8 seed last year and came one category away from winning the league.
I’m hopeful one (or both) of Crawford & DeLauter end up making the OF more of a strength. SP feels like it will be a problem, but hopefully decent enough to patch over with shrewd waiver wire pickups.
Pitching looks solid, all guys I like except Pivetta, but that’s fine…Hitting looks like a little weak on power and speed…Lots of bench bats that seem unnecessary
Thanks…sigh of relief on the pitching side. Hopeful Crawford makes good on his promise of speed and Ohtani can paper over some of the lack of power, but I get your point…its a work in progress.
Leiter looks really good today in spring training action…he’ll probably be top 5 before April is out!
Yeah, I hear ya
Okay… give it to me. 10 team 6×5 (standard + OPS) H2H Weekly (daily moves). Keep 3 for one year (players I kept with *K). Punted Saves as I do always.

You seem like you have 6 top 25 players so, yeah, your team is good, keepers don’t hurt obviously…I guess if I had to quibble, your pitching looks a little risky for upside but I like the guys you have
you’re probably gonna cackle at me at how unhinged this was but i did a thing you advise never to do and thought you’d get a kick out of it
League is a small 8 teamer with me and my buddies. Just for fun and bragging rights. I’m the most decorated over the decade we’ve been doing it with 4 Golds, a silver and 2 bronze. On the podium 7 out of 10 years.
Snake, with OPS, QS, and K/9 instead of the usual, so a bit of a different beast
I was 10th and when it got to me both Skubal and Skenes were still on the board. I took them both and immediately was like “grey would kill me lmfao”
My team ended up like this:
C – Baldwin (20)
1B – Kurtz (3)
2B – Marte (5)
3B – Suarez (6)
SS – Adames (7)
OF – Schwarber (4)
OF – Merrill (9)

Your pitching is insane obviously, your hitting should compete too, I’d think, but it
sm a crazy shallow league so you might need to work on that hitting a little…looks low on AVG but since it’s OPS not sure that matters
ya i am feeling like im in a decent place. im going to try and not get married to guys and work the wire
Yup
Hey Grey! Baseball is back…almost. Looking forward to reading your daily notes again this season.
Quick question. I drafted Basallo in one of the last rounds as my catcher. Now Yainer Diaz is available to pick up as a free agent (it’s a 10-team league, one catcher). Should I stick with a young catcher with upside or go with the more tested Diaz for consistency?
Thanks!
Hold
Thanks!
No problem
Morning Grey!
Wondering if you can share your thoughts on my team. 12 team, head to head league in Yahoo with OPS as a counting stat instead of AVG. My plan is to cycle out starters while having the RPs always in my starting lineup.
Once I finished the draft…I was with MR. A. CAPS as a YIKES! because the war room has me struggling with:
HR-22.9
SB-21.2
Wins – 6.3
Ks – 12.4
C- A. Ramirez
1B – J. Naylor
2B- M. Garcia
3B- A. Bregman
SS-T. Turner
OF-Judge, Y. Alvarez, D. Lile
Util – S. Kwan, C. Correa
SP –
J. Ryan
K. Bradish
B. Woodruff
D. Rasmussen
E. Cabrera
RP-
A. Chapman
D. Santana
R. Iglesias
A. Uribe
Bench –
A. Bohm,
M. Ozuna
L. Henderson
R. Weathers
Thoughts on the roster?
I plan on dropping L. Henderson…who is the best option?: B. Ober, B. Ashcroft, M. Meyer, Jacob Smith, or D. Fuentes.
Thanks!
re: Henderson — Is Early around? I like the pitching but it looks a little upsidey and risky, I don’t mind it though…Maybe a tad low on wins…I like the hitting, looks pretty balanced…Ozuna and Bohm are kinda useless, I’d grab another SP or stream
50 rounds, wow your prostate must have gotten a workout! Like the team, if a few of those SP step up could be golden! Love how you punt C every year even in 2 C leagues and end up getting production
Hey I have a “NA” spot who is the redraft add?
Leo De Vries
River Ryan
Robby Snelling
Thomas White
Payton Tolle
Carlos LaGrange
Ha, it was a slow draft…Ryan
At what point did you knowingly pass on Lile and did you regret that decision?
I don’t remember tbh
Grey
What draft position were you drafting from? Guessing you were on 12-13 range.
Great squad, very balanced by going 3,4,8 ,9 with pitching , but it was the quality of the the hurlers. Assuming you had some tough choices at pitching in those spots, do you always lean War Room/rankings with the pick, or do you sometimes say “I don’t have a share of this guy yet”. Because they are all in a tier, so projections are close, do you ever just bail on best ranked, and dip down to get a guy you really like to have on your team?
Sorry, should’ve included that…I drafted 10th…I draft the same guys over and over again to my betterment or uh worsement…I always dip down to get a guy if I really want them but I don’t remember feeling like I needed to here…but this was a few weeks ago now
Grey – long time fan! How did I do in my draft? 12 team H2H keeper snake draft league. 5×5 stats with Saves. I was able to grab Snell and Hunter Greene for an IL hold and will grab a couple of bats or a flyer on a pitcher

SP: Kyle Bradish, Jacob Misiorowski, Chase Burns, Emmett Sheehan, Edward Cabrera, Nick Lodolo, Shane Baz, Bubba Chandler, Blake Snell, Hunter Greene
RPs: Jeff Hoffman, Ryan Walker, Byran Abreu
Thanks! I like the pitching but it is very risky, upsidey…Bradish, Miz, Burns, Sheehan, EdCab, Lodolo, Baz, Bubba, Snell, Greene…Do you have one guy who throws 150 IP guaranteed? I like the SPs you have tho, so there is that…Hitting looks solid feels a tad low on power, but not too bad…not a bad team just risky pitching
Grey! Happy Opening Day eve!
I’m the defending champ of my league. Just had our draft last night. 10 team, H2H points. Thoughts on my team?
BATS: Augustine Ramirez, Bryce Harper, Keaschall, Gunnar, Bregman, Judge, Nimmo, Andy Pages, Yordan Alverez and Okamoto
ARMS: Chase Burns, Clay Holmes, Michael King, Nola, Luis Castillo, Gausman, Chris Sanchez, Joey Cantillo, Ryan Helsey, Noah Cameron, Mitch Kellar and Gerrit Cole.
Your pitching looks very weak for a 10 teamer, and your hitting looks solid, not sure how you have Judge, Gunnar, and Yordan, but that’s good…You’ll be fine with streaming, I’m sure
I think you could’ve gone Willi Castro in the 19th and gotten Gorman in the 20th. Gorman is going late everywhere it seems, and Willi gives you ton of position flexibility and Coors.
Gorman was a late $1 pickup in my NL only auction keeper, as an anecdotal reference. And he was pick 316 in my Razzslam points league (which felt early).
Your rankings steered me to Castro in that same NL auction!
Yeah, you could be right, I do like Willi

I chose Adley because he was available last 2 rounds.
Couldn’t believe Gunnar fell to me 5th overall round 2
Kinda punted 3B but it’ll work out.
I am extremely happy with my team. We had guys taking guys I couldn’t believe where they were going.
One of my best drafts IMO.
Thank you!!
Your pitching looks very solid, I like it a lot, two to three aces, solid IP, good stuff…Your hitting seems low on power/OPS but not terrible
