Was between Ryan Pepiot (8 IP, 1 ER, 6 baserunners, 11 Ks, ERA at 3.11) and Ohtani for the lede and I went with the “eating your vegetables” vs. “dessert as every meal” lede. I mean, which would you have chosen? Dessert? [eyes your waistline] You don’t say. So, Pepiot’s numbers look promising, and the Rays will be done playing nearly every game of their season in that rinky-dink Big Stein Stadium shortly, which is either good or bad, depending on your perspective. Shame the Rays weren’t inspired by Steinbrenner and fired Cash. Or tried to find dirt on Caminero by using a mafia guy, which backfired and had Stu Sternberg suspended. Or had Stu fight a drunk Kevin Cash in the clubhouse while the Bronx cops tried to find the Son of Sam. Am I now smashing baseball knowledge with Spike Lee films? Yeah, maybe. So, Pepiot had 18 whiffs with an elite 95 MPH fastball (47% whiff) and a nasty 86 MPH change (40% whiff). Also, mixed in a cutter and slider, which were fine and dandy. It doesn’t lift Pepiot to ace status, but he’s about as solid a number two as you’re gonna find — 3.29 ERA in 298 career innings and a 9.2 K/9. He’s basically what you were hoping to get from Zac Gallen or what you would’ve taken from Michael King. Now, if only we could get the Ghost of Billy Martin drunk and drive Kevin Cash insane until he quits. Oxford comma missing, or is it? Anyway, here’s what else I saw yesterday in fantasy baseball:
Zach Eflin – 5 IP, 7 ER, ERA at 4.81. He’s pitching fairly mediocrely, but the good news is there’s nothing indicating he should be pitching better, so expectations are in check!
Adley Rutschman – 1-for-4 and his 8th homer. Why do I think he’ll still be drafted high next year? Something about a hyped catcher that never tires drafters.
Brandon Lowe – 2-for-5, 2 RBIs and his 14th homer. He’s nearly reached the top of the 2nd basemen on the Player Rater, i.e., the world’s tallest midget. With apologies to Altuve.
Josh Lowe – 1-for-3, 2 runs and his 4th homer. Elias Sports Bureau said, “The Lowe’s double homer means the Lowe’s near you will be selling patio furniture for 20% off.”
Lance McCullers Jr. – Hit the IL with a foot sprain. I’m sure someone has floated the idea, but I just thought of something, why not: Lance McCullers, shutdown reliever?
Ryan Gusto – 5 IP, 1 ER, 4 baserunners, 8 Ks, ERA at 4.31. Some days the A’s look like the 1927 A’s and some days they look like A’ss. Yesterday, Gusto avoided the gusto winds in Bing Bong and pitched well on four days rest. Baseball, guys and four girl readers, there’s no rhyme or reason sometimes.
Jose Altuve – 1-for-4 and his 11th homer. His homer went 447 feet. Or 894 of Altuve’s feet. (Tiny Altuve jokes are especially funny when you think about the person typing them is the same height as him.)
JJ Bleday – 1-for-3 and his 8th homer, hitting .199. Crazy thing (maybe not crazy), I thought (maybe I’m dumb) Bleday would hit for a decent average this year.
Nick Kurtz – 1-for-4, 2 RBIs and his 7th homer, 2nd homer in two games. This one was a walk-off homer. SacTown hasn’t been this excited for sports since [guy who has never heard of the NBA] ever!
Mitch Spence – 5 IP, 1 ER, 8 baserunners, 2 Ks, ERA at 3.50. Mitch don’t kill my vibe, but Mitch also doesn’t ignite the under-loins with his 7.8 K/9, 2.7 BB/9 and–sorry, I fell asleep, what was I saying?
Giancarlo Stanton – 2-for-4 as he was activated from the IL. I greeted him in his first day back with breakfast in bed, then was chased out of his house. Not my fault the 2nd floor window by the giant elm was so easily pried open.
Clarke Schmidt – 7 2/3 IP, 0 ER, 4 hits, zero walks, 3 Ks, ERA at 3.16. Schmidt happens (congratulatory). Clarke Schmidt since the start of 2024: 2.99 ERA in 147 1/3 IP in 27 games started. Zoinks.
Jose Soriano – 7 IP, 0 ER, 7 baserunners, 6 Ks, ERA at 3.54. If you started him in Yankee Stadium, your pants grapes might be bigger than your brains, but God Bless Them Grapes! Streamonator likes his next one, so things should get easier next time out, which is me attempting a jinx. Ooh, he’s a nasty, nasty boy, that Grey Albright, Fantasy Master Lothario (don’t abbreviate it).
Michael Toglia – 1-for-4, 1 RBI as he was recalled. In 11 minor league games, Toglia had a 29.4 K%, so, yeah, he’s totally fixed. Good stuff, Rockies.
Hunter Goodman – 2-for-4, 3 RBIs and his 12th and 13th homer, hitting .287. Sucks he has to suck next year, but that’s just the deal the Rockies made with the devil. Ask Brenton Doyle or Nolan Jones or find a guy named Nolan Doyle and ask him.
Mickey Moniak – 2-for-4, 2 runs, 2 RBIs and his 8th homer. And he’s tradin’ in his Chevy for a Mickey Moniak (ack-ack-ack-ack-ack).
Jake Irvin – 6 IP, 3 ER, 6 baserunners, 5 Ks, ERA at 4.23. Streamonator liked this one, hates his next. And we move!
Kyle Finnegan – 1 IP, 3 ER, ERA at 3.12, and the massive blown save, costing me my Irvin win. You bastard! That’s okay, Finnegan’ll still be traded in July to become a set-up man, then sign in the offseason back in Washington to become their closer again.
James Wood – 2-for-3, 2 RBIs and his 18th homer, hitting .284. A 22-year-old is on pace for a 40/20 season. Do we talk enough about this? I don’t know if we do. Let’s talk more about Wood, he said while raising one eyebrow.
Daylen Lile – 1-for-3 and his 1st homer. Was recalled before the game with Robert Hassell III being sent down. One too many Hassell’s from that Robert guy. Lile was up previously, hit .194, and was sent down. He does have 50-steal speed, though, so we monocle in mixed leagues, and aggressive attack in NL-Only.
Max Kepler – 1-for-4 and his 9th homer, and 2nd homer in three games, third homer in a week, and I grabbed him in my RCL last week because the hot schmotato is burning bright.
Trea Turner – 3-for-5, 2 RBIs and his 8th homer, hitting .306. Treat Urner showing he’s got that dog in him.
Mick Abel – 5 IP, 1 ER, 4 baserunners, 3 Ks, ERA at 2.21. Only 20 1/3 IP, but the numbers are encouraging if odd — 7.5 K/9, 1.8 BB/9, 3.63 xFIP, after having a 4.1 BB/9 in Triple-A. Sometimes we see a guy with poor command come up and dominant early because hitters are unfamiliar with his stuff and/or don’t know to sit on certain pitches. Doesn’t mean I’m out on Mick, but I am hesitant to give a full-throated endorsement — that’s what she said!
Orion Kerkering – 1 IP, 0 ER, ERA at 2.54, and his 1st save. Had it been a month already? Ya know, because once a month the Phils change their closer. Don’t worry, mid-July to August it will be Kyle Finnegan, then mid-August to September it will be Taijuan Walker finally it will be playoff-time and “all hands on deck.” I guess Romano is out, Strahm remains in the 8th and Kerkering is the new Phils closer. Subject to change!
Sandy Alcantara – 5 IP, 2 ER, 6 baserunners, 5 Ks, ERA at 6.88. Glass is half full: This is a solid start for 2025 Sandy. Half empty: He was out-pitched by Mick Abel. Glass realistically full with enough water to drink: His next start is not liked on the Streamonator, and I still don’t trust him.
Logan Gilbert – 5 IP, 2 ER, 4 baserunners, 10 Ks, ERA at 2.55 as he was activated from the IL, where he missed roughly two months with a flexor strain in his elbow. Now begins the game of chicken: Logan Gilbert’s pitching vs. his elbow.
Roman Anthony – 1-for-4 and his 1st major league homer, as he hit third. You’re the face of the franchise now. No presh!
Lucas Giolito – 6 IP, 0 ER, 4 baserunners, 10 Ks, ERA at 4.73, but back-to-back solid starts, and I actually picked him up for this two-start week, because I got brains in my ass. Streamonator doesn’t like his next, and can’t say I do either, but I’m starting him: Wheeeeeeeee….
Justin Verlander – Will return on Wednesday. He’ll be following the Opener Rafael Devers, who said he’ll do whatever the Giants want, even pitch.
Dylan Cease – 5 IP, 6 ER, ERA at 4.69. “He should be better,” he says as he walks into the ocean. If you have an Appearances category in your league, call up your league commissioner and see if that means Cease appears better than he’s been and if that gets you points.
Manny Machado – 1-for-3, 2 RBIs and his 11th homer, hitting .317. Still thinking about Dylan Cease getting on the mound with a polished fastball and deciding to polish a freakin’ turd!
Shohei Ohtani – 1 IP, 1 ER, as he returned to the mound. Oh, he also went 2-for-4, 2 RBIs. I don’t mind this Ohtani usage from a fantasy standpoint, because you have to be completely bonkers to ever start him as a pitcher. A loose cannon whose friends make the “Cuckoo-cuckoo” sound when they leave the room. A person whose own parents once said, “They’re sweet, but I think they were dropped on the hospital floor when they plopped from Ma’s hoo-ha.” I say I don’t mind this because there’s zero temptation to start him as a pitcher, and that’s how I like my shizz: Zippo Temptation. Would it be nicer if he threw 7 IP, 0 ER, 12 Ks every time out? Sure, but you’re not getting that. I’d be surprised if he’s doing that before August. For now, just start him as a hitter and watch his 1-3 IP pitcher highlights as a fan. You remember what it’s like to be that, right?
Tailion or miso ROS

Hello Grey, 8 team NL only keeper. Kerkering worth picking up at cost of either Romano or Gonsolin ($4 for this year +2)? Or hold?
Had to activate Toglia .1-4 with a rib?!? That’s like a real player going 4-5 with 2 HRs and 6 RBIs!
Thanks for all you do!
Over Romano
Echoing JFish, Grey…new poster to your site and you/your Staff’s insight/knowledge is top drawer. Also a shout out to your regulars like VinWins, Oaktown Steve, etc. for all they contribute as well. Great stuff!
Thanks!
You starting kremer @rays?
No
Shane smith or lib ROS?
Smith
Rafael Devers said Tuesday during his introductory press conference with the Giants that he’s willing play defensively wherever they want him to. Giants manager Bob Melvin said that Devers is at DH and batting third for Tuesday’s series opener against the Guardians at Oracle Park before adding that he’ll begin taking grounders at first base.
…wow, the hits just keep on comin’ for the BoSox…
Haha
Grey – O/U on how many plunks he gets this weekend against his former team…2.5. You putting your best clients on the over?
Ha
I’ll take the under. The players know what’s up.
Boston higher ups totally disrespected the man!
14 team h2h 6×6 with OBP, TB, K/BB, W+QS and SVHLD Keeper
1) Hold Mayo or drop for B Lee, M Muncy (OAK), Gorman, Durbin, Rengifo, Baty or just stream the spot based on weekly match ups?
Greatest need is power and OBP. Only other third baseman on roster are Shaw and Royce on the IL.
2) Pick up Noelvi Marte as soon as he’s close to returning?
Thanks!
1. why not just stream? Muncy 2. if you want
Is pffadt to risky @toronto or fine?
Seems risky
Horton home vs Brewers or Cabrera home vs Philly?

I have one pickup yo make after the Cruz trade. Here is the team and questions.

Lindor, Xavier, B Lowe
Tucker, Teoscar, O Cruz, Donovan, M Vargas
Util: McNeil or Winn
Crochet, Wheeler, Yamamoto, Ranger, Bibee,
Bautista, Vest, Estevez, R Rod (holds is a cat)
1. I can put in a claim for E Carter tonight. Drop McNeil, Vargas or Winn if you agree?
2. I can grab Stanton now. With this team would you? He would have to be Utility so it might be crowded once Harper gets back. If you agree, ok to drop Winn?
1. sure, Vargas 2. sure
Wait. There’s a pitcher named Jason Alexander, and I’m only just seeing it.
(Exact wording not confirmed.)
Haha
I too saw the Jason Alexander name in the MLB Notes and had various scenes running through my head.
Not bad hal, but here it is:
“The sea was angry that day my friends. Like an old man trying to send back soup at a deli…I said Easy Big Fella…” Classic stuff!
HAHA, his son actually lives next door to me, saw him playing with his grandkids yesterday
Nice! Look at you hobnobbing with the upper crust.

1) For a team in a 12-team roto league looking for saves, would Kerkering, Strahm, Yates, Santillan, Dylan Lee, Robert Garcia, Faucher, or Halvorsen be worth adding? If so, in what order would you rank them?
2) Bubic/Devin Williams or Hoffman/Cease?
1. Kerkering, Garcia 2. Cease, it’s fair, could go either way
Thanks as always for your thoughts!
No problem
Waiver wire nightmare… 12 team Roto OBP… Drop Casparius for Giolito, Soriano, Horton, Cecconi, Petty? Or use the slot to pick up a RP like Orion or Vest with my Dodger closer getting maybe 70% of save opportunities. Do I dare drop Christian Walker for Kurtz? Worried I’ll live to regret it..
thank you
Sounds fine
So, with Raffia “Gefilte Fish Face” Devers going to SF and we highly doubt he will play anywhere other than his “new position”, is it time to drop Flores? He’s been pretty cold after a nice start.
If you need room
Thanks – Don’t right now, but I’ll just sit him and watch for now.

Hi Grey,

Jose Soriano
Liberatore

Hi Grey,
would you offer Ben Rice for Mick Abel?
Thanks!
Sure
Are we holding Casparius for the next Ohtani start? I’m happy to get a W and thank you sir, can I have some more? I just don’t know if this is a smart move or if I should be betting on a two-starter like Liberatore or Shane Smith or even padding my counts with Garrett Whitlock instead??? I want to trust Caspar but I don’t want to be ghosted.
Haha, I don’t think he’s stretched out enough but it’s vs. Nats? Seems fine to hold for now
Hey fellow butt head! I picked up Gio for the two-start week. Oh boy! 8-0

Guy in my league is looking to trade a starter for a closer. I have Suarez, Fairbanks, Miller and Kerkering. Some of his starters are Flaherty, Pepiot, Misio and Abel.
1) Give up any of my closers other than Suarez for Flaherty, Pep or Misio?
2) Only Kerkering for Abel?
Thoughts?
1. Sure 2. meh
Drop 1 – Addison Barger, Bryson Stott, or Logan O’Hoppe?

I hope the answer is yes, but I gotta ask, are you starting the Miz tomorrow at Wrigley? LFG!

Better SP pick-up in a 12-team QS roto league – Holmes or Walter?
Holmes
You like Lugo @ rangers?

Mize or Birdsong
Birdsong
Hey Grey,
I have a couple of questions this fine morning. I’m a little heavy on the bench bats, Soderstrom(alt w/Naylor, Mayer(purely upside), Neto(should start but EDLC blocks him. I am loaded in the OF with Tucker, wood, Soto, J.Rodriguez and now Acuna. So both of my Útil slots are usually filled. It IS a keeper league(keep 10) so that is why I have held onto Mayer so far. But is he a straight up drop with my depth?
Also would you drop S.Miller for Kerkering?
Thanks
Can lose Mayer, I wouldn’t drop Miller
I have Will Smith as my Catcher in a 10 team league
Someone put Cal Raleigh on the trading block
He is looking for saves
I need Hr;s and RBI;s
I would put Raleigh in my U spot
Who would you offer. I believe he would do 1 for 1
Chapman
Jansen
Edwin Diaz
Bautista (rather not though because I can keep him next year)
Jansen or Aroldis, that order
cool thanks
If he wants Edwin Diaz would you do it
To get a 2nd catcher in a 1 catcher league? No

Wood or Chourio ROS?

I see Yahoo fired almost all of their fantasy sports writers (except for one) and is now using AI to write articles. Better keep a close eye on that streamonator. Make sure it’s not getting any bright ideas…
Streamonator is outside your house in a dark-tinted-window van
Wouldn’t anything be an improvement?
Yahoo is a mess. Picked up Misiorowski last week and they have him as a RP and not a SP. They won’t put him as a SP until he makes three starts while ESPN and CBS have no such issue. I can’t play him in my league in the RP spot due to him being a starter. Talk about not having your act together at Yahoo.
That explains some things. Yahoo still has Casas and Burnes projected to finish in the top 100 this season. Clearly their rankings are messed up.
Man it’s been a long wait but Thompson finally turned to his best choice and used Kerkering to close (1st career SV?). Been a fan for awhile and remember how big Realmuto’s eyes got when asked about him. Typical closer arsenal (FB/SL), but his slider is filth. Luckily had him stashed and hope Thompson keeps listening to his catcher. No more committees!!!
Haha, we shall see
Why’s espn saying not too start Abbott do u agree?
No
How do u like bassitt vs dbacks hes pitching @home
Sounds fine
(1) Please rank ROS. Baz; Cameron; Abel
(2) When activated, where would Arrighetti rate within this group?
1. You did 2. Maybe 2nd
The mcclanahan updates from the Rays are so wild. He’s paused and who knows when he’ll pitch again but also just threw high velo from 100+ feet and felt great.
Hahaha, kinda like Roki…He stopped pitching…Oh, he’s also feeling good
Bryson Stott has been lame. Hold or Drop for Mat McLain, Josh Smith, or Miguel Vargas?
Sure, Smith
Would you drop C Walker for Kurz. Redraft. I have Sal perez that can play first. And Herrera at catcher as well
Yes
Does Meadows have enough potential upside value as a 23rd round keeper to roster ROS or should I move on? PCA & MH2 as CF, and Ben Rice is looking tasty on the WW. Roto style scoring.
He has upside
Walter or Misiorowski ROS?

O Cruz and M Vargas or Ward and Donovan?
Cruz
Thanks! Now if he would just stop changing the deal
Haha
How is Forest Whitley not the lead?!?! Rays lowed his ERA by 1.5 and his WHIP by .25! BOOM! STUD! Wait until they lower his ERA by another 7 runs and his whip by .5.
Pretty cool to see Cease play down to Jacob Lopez’s level the past month.
IDK what I will with him next year with no OF elig but right now living the good life with Goodman at the moment. Getting that Carpenter production with almost .100 ops added on.
I started Soriano but also benched Gusto.
In a dynasty would you rather target Cease or Bubic? Both on block in my league.
Haha…Cease
Leiter a good start @home vs royals?
Sure
Should we be stashing bubba or burns?
Burns
Would you drop Romano for any of the following? Palencia, L. Jackson, R. Garcia, Kerkering, Strahm, Kahnle

Why is DJ Lemathieu still in the Yankees lineup, or any teams lineup for that matter. He’s probably the lest dangerous hitter in baseball right now, and I watch a lot of it. Question for you, in a points league, how many Devers starts this week is worth starting him over Riley Greene or Mikael Garcia, and if the answer is start one of them, which one. Thank you for your consideration.
Haha, good question on DJ — I imagine Devers will start every game
Ozzie Albies droppable for Trevor Story? 5×5 roto
Nah
Altuve! Being a Dodger, I hate him. But drafted him cuz he is good at baseball. Only to trade him and a SP after his bad start which I was happy about since I got Harper. How has that turned out?
We were all wrong about Altuve being washed weren’t we?
Semi-happy ending: I backfilled 2B with B Lowe. So there is that.
Altuve’s been about as good as Jung Hoo Lee who hasn’t hit in 6 weeks
Hmmm…I may have unintentionally struck a nerve. No blame being assigned on the trade I made. Only we as owners take that final responsibility. None of us can be right every time. No worries.
I was referring of course to how Altuve has performed SINCE the trade 40 days ago.
Have a great rest of your day. Appreciate all your comments and opinions.
I don’t follow, was just saying Altuve hasn’t been that good
Ok. I know you like to reference the player rater. I think Altuve has been very good past 40 days since my trade.
Yeah
Good Morning Grey,
10-TM, NL, H2H, OBP
My SP is in bad shape with loss of Reynaldo and King along with drafting the crappy duo of Gallen and Pfaadt.
SPs: Gallen, Megill, Roupp, Pfaadt, Cabrera, Burrows, Gomber (streamer, will swap)
RPs: E. Diaz, Palencia, Santillan
A) Please Rank: Gray, Freddy P., Luzardo, Pivetta, Ranger Suarez
B) Any from A you would NOT trade Yelich for? I need pitching pretty badly, so desperate times…
C)
D) Toglia for Abbott fair? Trade Analyzer hasn’t updated Toglia yet for ROS $, but they are close in the $/game.
E) Try Lile over Scott II as a 2nd bench bat? Thairo is my bench INF bat.
I appreciate your thoughts.
A. Freddy, Luz, Gray, Ranger B. sounds fine D. I’d want Abbott, it’s not close E. No
Thanks for the feedback.
Was asked about Freddy and Yaz for Yelich and V. Scott II. Take it and run?
Luz is a possibility, but his keeper price is low. Pivetta was offered, and could be done w/o a problem.
I understand with Toglia’s struggles and Abbott having a great year why E wouldn’t be close. However, I was going off Yahoo’s (Rotowire’s) ROS projections for Toglia when thinking about this.
I was also thinking of offering Thairo for Canning since Thairo is on my bench. Eventually, I’ll get Vientos back, and I feel he’ll be sufficient enough. I’m still a big fan, especially with Baty dealing with a groin issue and not doing much.
Works for me
Ryan Pressly or Kerkering?
Orion
Starting festa @reds?
Doesn’t sound good
Hey Hey to the Hey Hey, Grey!!!
First off, sorry if I missed any discussion of this, but have you seen Roman Anthony’s sister, Lia? Hubba hubbba.
Also, would you go with Warren v LAA (14.1) for a streamer today? Other choice would be Lib @CWS, but bot no likey (-3.6).

I’d go with Warren…Lurves
And Lia?

Dynasty Points league. I’ve received two trade offers:
1. My Woo for Dominguez and Cade Horton
2. My Woo and Colt Emerson for Dominguez and Royce
Do you like either of these? Would be nice to get the pitcher back but Royce is always tempting
Woo in both they’re fair
Do you have a preference for one?
Royce I guess
Can’t believe I’m asking this but in a 10 teamer is Ozzie Albies droppable? I have Jazz, Westburg, and Wynn to fill in a 2B and/or SS slot. I’d be dropping him for a UTL bat or a hitting streamer. Guy has STUNK this year
Yes, droppable
Trade question:
10 team keeper
Crochet 1yr remaining after this year $10 or Acuna 2 yrs $38
Acuna
Kinda figured you’d go that way. Is that because of a general lack of trust in pitching? The $10 gave me pause but I guess you’re saying I’m overthinking.
Thanks
Feels overthinking
Why is it I only over think in fantasy!
Haha
AVG isn’t showing it yet but Kurtz feels on the verge of finding his rhythm.
Had the exact same thought about Goodman when he hit those 2 dongs. He’s about to be the next Doyle…
He seemed to be finding it right before his injury, so yeah hopefully
James Wood is in need of a nickname, any thoughts?
Morning Wood
Ha
True, will need to work on it
I read that some fans call him Jimmy Lumber. Meh
I started thinking Oak instead of wood, but that makes him Jim Oak, which sounds like Jamoke.
Not great
Meh
Hey Grey,
Good morning and thanks for all your work.

Can you pleas rank the following guys from top to bottom as keepers: Brad Keller, Gabe Speier, Grant Taylor, P. Hodge
Thank you!
Taylor, Hodge, Gabe
Thanks, amigo! I appreciate it.
No problem
That Soriano start convinced me I know nothing about fantasy baseball anymore.
i’ll second that and add that seeing those last two starts on my bench after the garbage he’s heaped on my ratios makes me want to quit forever and take up a new hobby like maybe making dog clothing out of dryer lint.
I played in my first fantasy baseball league back in 1993 when we got our stats from the Wednesday USA Today and relied on Baseball Tonight for up-to-date information. And over the intervening baseball seasons I feel like I know less and less about just about everything, especially these past 2-3 seasons. I used to have a knack for spotting solid SPs. Not any more. I’m utterly clueless.
*I still love baseball but mostly I participate in fantasy baseball to occupy my mind and divert my thoughts from climate catastrophe, gun violence, our crumbling democracy and the petty bickering that passes for political discourse.
very similar story here. i started in 1985 and we had to wait for a weekly sporting news to come in the mail for stats. used to be much better with pitching but it’s been not great for a few years now.
this year i am less bothered by my bad teams because most of my enjoyment now comes with playing along with my son. he’s 13, which is a great age for him to get into it. every night he’s got 3 storylines from our teams and we do a post-game show style recap. absolutely love it.
Awesome!
Soft and extremely flammable… You might be on to something
HAHA
Soriano was an easy call to start. They’ve done this every season under Boone and it usually lasts awhile. Start everyone against Yanks until further notice. I’m 73 and could throw a quality start against them right now.
HA
You trading SPers…Gilbert (give) for Cease
( get )
Meh
For some reason I always read his name as Onion Kerkering.
More people should name their kid Onion.
i hope one of his teammates calls him onion. maybe schwarbs.
More folks should name their kids Onion, what a great name
Quick, someone get Gwyneth Paltrow pregnant!
You need an Apple?
Boston Seattle game. 54 outs and 27(1/2) outs were strikeouts
Incredible hitting from Seattle, always
Spencer Steer suck I gather, but he’s playing.
Does he lose playing time as the Reds get healthy? Is he even worth holding onto in a deep league say if Toglia is available?
Steer>Toglia
Grey!!!!
Amazing!
Rodney Dangerfield quote of the day for June 17, 2025
My wife can’t cook, no respect. The other day she made chocolate mousse with antlers in it.
Cheers,
Ante
Thanks!
Pepiot and Giolito each earned their first entry on the 100 Best Fantasy Starts list. The Rays appear 5 times; the Red Sox 3. All of Boston’s occurred on the road while all of Tampa’s were at home:

34 Shane Baz Apr 14 vs BOS
39 Garrett Crochet Apr 2 @BAL
52 Drew Rasmussen Jun 3 vs TEX
54 Ryan Pepiot Jun 16 vs BAL
63 Lucas Giolito Jun 16 @SEA
88 Drew Rasmussen May 28 vs MIN
100 Joe Boyle Apr 13 vs ATL
Ha, nice (for me on Gio)…Thanks, Vin!
Did Strider’s most recent start make it into the top 5 Vin ?
Nope. # 21. 4 baserunners in 6 IP brought it down a bit.
WHAT? Win Ben Stein’s Stadium?? I’d watch that!
Slowly getting over the fact that The Sho didn’t don the pitching cap that Kike wears. Opportunity lost because that would’ve been hilarous. Not as hilarious as a 45 mph curve being thrown in the MLB, but close enough.
That sounds awesome! I wanna see that now too!
