Jordan Lawlar projected to 150 Games vs RHP and LHP with 12 team mixed fantasy value. This helps identify a player's platoon value for fantasy baseball based on pitcher handedness. These projections - combining Steamer rates and Razzball projected PA/Game and R/RBI - are a MUCH better indicator of a hitter's platoon splits than in-season stats since it involves multiple years of data and has been properly regressed to league averages. Since games are neutralized across players, values for everyday players may look smaller than for preseason/season to date/rest of season where they benefit from playing time advantages vs other players. Grey Albright Player Summary Will be fun to see DBags finally give him a full-time job (in 2032). DBags are the polar opposite of the Angels. The Angels promote guys after twelve games in the minors, who aren’t ready, then they struggle for six years in the majors, and the DBags wait until Lawlar has accumulated four years of Triple-A. Lawlar went 11/20/.313 last year in Triple-A in only 259 ABs. For a long time, people thought he was as can’t miss as possible with speed and power. He seems like a huge bust every time he gets a few at-bats in the majors. It likely doesn’t help he gets four at-bats in the majors, then six games off, then a pinch-hit appearance, then two weeks off, then a trip back to the minors, then a promotion to sit on the bench. But hol’ up! Not so fast all this talk of Jordan Lawlar having no place to play. The 60-grade fielding infielder is supposedly moving to the outfield. Sure, why not? Whatever makes the least amount of sense, MLB clubs will be doing it. It’s still not clear Lawlar can actually hit in the majors, but I say let him try. Which they likely won’t.

| Will be fun to see DBags finally give him a full-time job (in 2032). DBags are the polar opposite of the Angels. The Angels promote guys after twelve games in the minors, who aren’t ready, then they struggle for six years in the majors, and the DBags wait until Lawlar has accumulated four years of Triple-A. Lawlar went 11/20/.313 last year in Triple-A in only 259 ABs. For a long time, people thought he was as can’t miss as possible with speed and power. He seems like a huge bust every time he gets a few at-bats in the majors. It likely doesn’t help he gets four at-bats in the majors, then six games off, then a pinch-hit appearance, then two weeks off, then a trip back to the minors, then a promotion to sit on the bench. But hol’ up! Not so fast all this talk of Jordan Lawlar having no place to play. The 60-grade fielding infielder is supposedly moving to the outfield. Sure, why not? Whatever makes the least amount of sense, MLB clubs will be doing it. It’s still not clear Lawlar can actually hit in the majors, but I say let him try. Which they likely won’t. |
