He’ll be 20% better in three months? He heals 6.5% better per month? Wait, this injury happened on July 19th! What’s that, nine months ago? He could’ve IVF’d a new hamstring by now. That clarifies one thing, Paredes does not have Predator blood. A starfish regenerates its limbs; Paredes is not a starfish. I can’t even believe one can have a hamstring strain this bad. Astros are such liars with their injured players. That shizz is a tear, it ain’t no strain. I actually don’t mind Paredes if it’s a shallow league and can replace him if he re-injures this hamstring, but I’m half expecting him to hurt himself in the spring. The sad truth is you don’t take nine months to recover from a hammy injury and are just fine after, forever more. |
