Friends, I have no polite way to put it: last week in baseball injuries was a shit show. While some of the early season injuries are out of the way, the Tommy John surgeries, thoracic outlet syndrome, and other various fractures and tears are TEARING ME APART.
Additionally, Ozzie Albies experienced a fractured foot and was added to the 60-day IL. However, he is expected to return this season.
American League Injuries
Chicago White Sox
Kyle Crick (RP): Crick, who has been been in and out of the minors this season to help the White Sox extremely sad bullpen, is out with elbow inflammation. He is eligible to return June 29. I doubt most of you had him on your rosters. In the off-chance you did, there are probably 300+ folks you could pick up instead.
Liam Hendriks (RP): Hendriks is out with a strained forearm. He is eligible to return on June 26. Hendriks has been struggling overall this season and was not in play before he was officially added to the IL. Kendall Graveman and Joe Kelly are options to replace Hendriks.
Austin Meadows (OF), Daz Cameron (OF): Meadows and Cameron were added to the COVID-19 IL. They are eligible to return on June 18 and June 11, respectively. The really good news for Detroit and fantasy folks alike is that Riley Greene.
Outfielder Riley Greene, arguably the best prospect in baseball, will be called up to join the Detroit Tigers tomorrow. He'd have made the Opening Day roster had he not broken his right foot on the eve of the season. He's healthy now, and he'll be their full-time center fielder.

Casey Mize (SP): Mize, who has been on the IL for some time, is having Tommy John surgery. He will be out for the 2022 season.
Kansas City Royals
Jorge Polanco (2B): Polanco, is out with a strained lower back. He is eligible to return June 23.
Boston Red Sox
Tampa Bay Rays
Drew Rasmussen (SP): Rasmussen is out with a strained hamstring and is eligible to return June 27. The Rays recalled Ralph Garza Jr. to replace Rasmussen, but Garza Jr. was then quickly replaced by Shane Baz.
The Rays have reinstated RH Shane Baz (arthroscopic surgery, right elbow) from the 60-day IL and optioned RH Ralph Garza Jr. to Triple-A Durham. To make room on the 40-man roster, RH Andrew Kittredge (right elbow discomfort) was transferred to the 60-day IL.
Toronto Blue Jays
That qualifies as "making it out alive" against this Yankees lineup. Another big bullpen run coming, which starts with Thornton.

Julian Merryweather (RP): Merryweather is out with a strained oblique. He is eligible to return on June 29. Jeremy Beasley was recalled in Merryweather’s absence. However, Beasley has been recalled and replaced by Casey Lawrence. We are playing musical pitchers, folks.
#BlueJays make the move official: Casey Lawrence recalled, after being scratched from his Buffalo start last night. Jeremy Beasley has been optioned, after being burnedout from covering 3 innings yesterday.

Jeremy Peña (@Jpena221) spoke with the media for the first time since his thumb injury: “Just sore, some inflammation. We’re gonna give it some time..I feel good..I ran, threw. I’ve been doing pretty much everything. The only thing I haven’t done is swing a bat.” pic.twitter.com/yhavj98bKf

Eli White (OF): White is out to have wrist surgery after fracturing his wrist via collision in a game. He is eligible to return on June 23, but that seems unlikely.
— Bally Sports Southwest (@BallySportsSW) June 12, 2022
Mitch Garver (C), Glenn Otto (SP): Garver and Otto are both on the COVID-19. While they are eligible to return on June 11, they are still on the COVID-IL list. Zach Reks and Jesus Tinoco have replaced Garver and Otto in the interim.
The Rangers have 14 pitchers on their roster. So look for some roster moves coming after Sunday's game. Of course both Otto and Garver are still on the COVID-IL with Reks and Tinoco as replacements guys. Plus Josh Smith is currently on rehab. #StraightUpTX https://t.co/EePI6ebpZW

National League Injuries
Nick Madrigal (2B): The regularly injured Madrigal is out with a strained groin. He is eligible to return on June 22.
? INDY BACK ?
Tucupita Marcano (INF/OF), Duane Underwood Jr. (SP): Marcano and Underwood are both on the COVID-IL and eligible to return June 18 and June 14. Jason Delay (C) and Liover Peguero (INF) were recalled to replace Marcano and Underwood.

Ozzie Albies exited tonight's game with a fractured foot.
Get well soon, Ozzie ?

Jesús Aguilar (1B), Jesús Sánchez (OF): Aguilar and Sánchez are both out with COVID-19. They are eligible to return on June 18. RHP Andrew Bellatti, Lewin Díaz (INF), and Jerar Encarnacion (OF) were brought in to replace Aguilar and Sánchez.
.@Marlins place RHP Edward Cabrera (elbow tendinitis) and RHP Cole Sulser (lat strain) on the 15-day IL, retro 6/13; select the contract of RHP Jimmy Yacabonis from Triple-A Jacksonville; recall LHP Daniel Castano; transfer LHP Jesus Luzardo from the 10-day IL to the 60-day IL

What a day for Daniel Castano ?
New York Mets
Tylor Megill underwent an MRI this morning and has been diagnosed with a right shoulder strain. The immediate plan is for him to be shut down from throwing and re-evaluated in four weeks. Additional updates will be provided as appropriate.
Joe Ross (SP): Ross will be out for the season after having Tommy John surgery (again!).
Los Angeles Dodgers
Walker Buehler (SP): Buehler, who has been fairly lackluster this season, is out with a strained forearm. Buehler is currently eligible to return June 26. Luckily, Clayton Kershaw returned to the Dodgers roster recently. RHP Michael Grove was also recalled to the Dodgers roster.
Clayton Kershaw strikes out four over 4 innings of two-run ball in his first start since May 7 in a solid return from the injured list
— Thor ? (@TheGoldenThor) June 12, 2022
San Francisco Giants
Jakob Junis (SP): Junis is out with a strained hamstring. He is eligible to return June 26 and seems to be on track to return.
The good news from the IL is LaMonte Wade Jr. will start his rehab assignment this weekend and Jakob Junis will initiate his throwing program, which seems like a good sign for a Grade 2 hamstring strain.
