Yesterday, my buddy Mitch Staniger penned a nice tribute to All-Star game snubs in his DFS article. With so many more deserving names for the honors, I’ve taken the baton and put together a list of my own. I still can’t believe Logan Gilbert is not an All-Star. I’m on record twice making the prediction […]

Is there ever a bad time for a stash?
On one hand, three of the top four prospects graduated from my last stash list, so it’s not only a good time to post a new one, the posting of a new one feels essential to the purpose of this space on the internet.
On the other hand, the minor league tree of stashes looks a little picked over at the moment. It might replenish itself in a week or two if the Orioles can stay in the race or the Diamondbacks can rip off a Seattle-like string of victories, but right now, we’re waiting for some playing time to shake loose for most of the top guys to get their shot.
Graduated From Stash List Volume 4: Esteury Ruiz is Ready for His Close-Up:
Vinnie Pasquantino, Esteury Ruiz, Max Meyer, Nick Pratto.
Please, blog, may I have some more?I know recency bias is a powerful thing but it seems to me, we are seeing a lot more highly touted prospects come up this season. This could be a symptom of the tweaked service time rules, or maybe teams are having a rethink on development schedules. Regardless of the reason, it’s a great time […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Last week we toured the infield and our first half fantasy All-Stars. If you missed that article, stop, do not pass go, do not collect $200 and give last week’s article a read. For those of you that stopped in last week, thank you and let us get into touring the outfield. Out on the grass we have two clear front runners that have paid their owners many times over and then a heated competition for the final spot in our lineup. Without further ado, here are our first half outfield All-Stars!
Please, blog, may I have some more?Riley Greene is Detroit’s best prospect, and since his call-up, he’s been atop the lineup pretty much every game. While he’s only hitting .245 through his first 113 plate appearances, he’s doing so with a .345 OBP while maintaining an improved 23.9% K% (which is lower than most of his minor league career) and improving […]
Please, blog, may I have some more? Each Summer, as the ball really starts to fly out of the park(s), we welcome the All-Star Game to the calendar. For most players, the three day break to spend with family on the beach or couch is a welcome respite from the long season. The others, those raking the ball or sitting down opposing […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Happy Saturday, Razzball Folks! The All-Star break is upon us, and we have a record low number of bodies that have hit the floor due to injury. However, we have a record number of folks on the IL because of COVID-19 in the “vaccine avoidance” category. Specifically, the Kansas City Royals have 10 unvaccinated players, […]

(NOTE: THIS POST WAS RELEASED EARLY THIS WEEK ON OUR PATREON. IT’S $10/MONTH.)
5. Stacy’s Mom
4. Maggie May
3. Hot for Teacher
2. Mrs. Robinson
1. Me and Mrs. Nolan Jones
Runners-up: Me and Mrs. Christian Yelich, Me and Mrs. Alek Manoah, and Me and Mrs. Mike Napoli. That’s not in no particular order. That is the order. Know it, learn it, love it, all the greatest songs on Cougar Love on your dial–Sorry, I heard they were starting a new Sirius channel for Cougar songs, and I was writing up my audition script to be their deejay. The older they get, the same age I stay. Any hoo! The Guardians called up Nolan Jones this past week, and he’s got huge power, a handful of speed and possibly can’t make contact. Here’s what Itch has said about him, “Lanky corner bat whose value is driven by proximity and patience. I’ve always been down on Jones, comparatively, because I’m not sure he’s aggressive enough within the strike zone to hang against guys who just don’t give you much to hit and aren’t going to walk you if you’re not going to swing. His numbers have always been padded by poor command at the lower levels, and he’ll simply need to adjust, which he started to do after a slow start in AAA. He finished with a functional .238/.356/.431 slash line along with 13 HR and 10 SB in 99 games, which isn’t great but would be an improvement on Cleveland’s outfield production over the past few years. Speaking of slashes, put me in the same room as Grey, please.” Okay, scary. I’d grab Jones for some possible power to see if he gets some run in the Cleveland outfield. Maybe me and Mr. Nolan Jones, Mr. Nolan Jones, Mr. Nolan Jones, can get a thing going on. Anyway, here’s some more players to Buy or Sell this week in fantasy baseball:
Please, blog, may I have some more? We’re a few days away from the All Star Break and I don’t know about you, but I feel like I am more than ready for a little respite from the daily fantasy grind. Of course, by next Wednesday I’m sure I’ll be having major lineup setting/live scoring withdrawals, but I’m also looking forward to […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Greetings and salutations, Razzballians! Do you know what time it is? Time… of year, I mean? I don’t know what time it is where you are, or when you’re reading this. That wouldn’t make sense. I’m not a wizard. But time of year? Do you know what time of year it is?
It’s Cutline time.
Please, blog, may I have some more?Tonight, like most nights, there are some really good SP options, and usually, we’re splitting hairs or getting cute trying to decide which one is the “right” one for our lineups. Maybe tonight’s just like that for you, but for me, I’m leaning heavily into the one option that’s going to be facing a lineup […]

Max Meyer is being called up. *does a highly-choreographed handshake with self that ends with me miming putting food in my mouth* We eating tonight! Three of the last four on Itch’s prospect stash list was Esteury Ruiz, Vinnie Pasquantino and Max Meyer. With Meyer’s promotion, they’ll all be up. Where you at, Miguel Vargas?! I already gave you a Max Meyer fantasy when it appeared like he’d be called up in May. Then he was sidetracked with an injury, but he’s healthy now and, like I said, we’re eating! Will he stay up if Edward Cabrera or Luzardo get healthy? If ifs and buts were candy and nuts, we’d be diabetic squirrels. Meyer might be good for another 50-60 IP, which is nearly a full 2nd half, I grabbed him in my 15-team mixed league immediately, then hemmed-and-hawed for fifteen minutes, and finally grabbed him in my 12-team mixed RCL, too, but we’ll see if I hold him there. Pitchers are pretty plentiful to be holding a possible roofie. He could be the best starter call-up we see this year. *mimes filling a dog bowl, puts it by feet, gets on knees and sticks face in bowl* We eating! Anyway, here’s what else I saw yesterday in fantasy baseball:
