Razzball, we have finally made it to week 2!
The theme of this week will be “In Skubal We Trust.” He is the best pitcher in baseball and has backed that up with matching .69 for ERA and WHIP to start the season. The only blemish can be the lack of run support shown by his 1-1 record while logging back-to-back quality starts.
Using Razzball’s Weekly Planner is a game-changer when game planning for a fantasy matchup. The ability to search Probable pitchers for the day, Top 10 Streamers (Next 3 day), and Two-Start Pitchers (Next Week) are game-changers when trying to get the edge in your leagues! Now onto this week’s rankings..

In next week’s rankings I will do some minor adjusting to how I’m showing the rankings. I’d like to break up the bottom half, specifically the bottom third, with a bit more specifics. I plan to do a quick write up of each of the arms to assist in making your start decisions.
If there is information you’d like included just send me a comment and I will do my best to try to incorporate it!
Where does Wacha rank here now that he is starting tomorrow? @Cle, vs CWS.
Also, who is the better 2 start stream Bello, Taj, or Taillon?
Thanks!
I’d put Wacha right next to Cameron. He has a chance to get DeLauter’ed but you have to like the CHW start likely to end the week. Plus he had a QS in his first outing.
Based on my list I’d go Bello, Taj, and then Tallion. They each have a start I like and one I don’t.
Bello – not a fan of the MIL matchup, but @STL isn’t scary.
Taj – Tigers early in the week should be okay, but @Tor later could be rough.
Taillon – I think he does okay @TB but had 4BB in 4.2 innings last start.
Janson Junk’s fastball is up two MPH and stuff+ was pretty ridiculous first game. I’m keeping an eye on him.
I get it, but I just can’t get excited about someone who went 4.1 against the CHW in their only start of the year and still gave up 5 hits. The Sox did just sweep the Jays though. Junk will be available to stream in deep leagues, but I just can’t get on board yet.
I hope you’re wrong! Ha ha
I’m a little bit of a biased Marlins fan, but junk is filthy. If he can just pinpoint his accuracy on the edges of the of the strike zone, I don’t get why he can’t be a late bloomer. One bad start against the White Sox who are improving doesn’t say much.
The beauty of baseball is that we will find out! I suspect rankings will look a lot different a month into the season.
As a Marlins fan do you prefer Junk or Garrett as the teams SP5? Maybe Paddack becomes the odd man out if Junk does well?
The Junk man with a QS?! He didn’t offer much in other categories but kept the walks down and had an efficient performance. I’m anxious to see the Tiger’s matchup now!
Soriano on do not start? Hasn’t given up a run and looked dominant against 2 good lineups.
His stuff is improved, but he gives up some contact. ATL will be tough and GABP is never fun to pitch in. If he handles this week well I will be a believer. I will make sure to give him a shout out next week if I am wrong!
Well ill be darned!!
Happy to be wrong on that one, wow what a performance! 8ip, 1ER, 10K and no bb allowed. I was nervous about that ATL start but Soriano might be for real.
Well, just found that Hunter Brown has a shoulder injury on IL. I know have 3 IL for SPs to start the season.
Less than ideal. I could see Arrighetti getting at least one of the starts but he just pitched on Friday.
