It’s been an incredible season! This marks my final article of the year, and it’s been a blast writing about streamers for the past six months. This final month has been chaotic with rotational changes, and this week could be the worst of them all. We have an abbreviated three-day week to end the regular […]

The plan for today’s article is pretty complex in its simplicity. I set out to build a championship-level redraft team for 2023 using only rookies from 2022.
C: Adley Rutschman
C: MJ Melendez
1B: Jose Miranda
2B: Vaughn Grissom
3B: Bobby Witt Jr.
SS: Oneil Cruz
MI: Jeremy Peña
CI: Gunnar Henderson
This infield is good. Might not win us the league, but getting steals all around the diamond puts us on a winning path. Not just because speed is increasingly rare but because these steals come from middle-order hitters with power.
Catcher is a pretty clear win. I suppose the Sal Perez team has a leg-up on you if they’ve got anyone in the C2 spot, but aside from that, we’ve got a top-of-the-scale catching duo.
Please, blog, may I have some more?I remember the day fairly clearly. It was springtime a few years ago and I was out taking the dog for a walk. That welcome and very bright March sun had started to melt away the snow, and I had downloaded one of the podcasts where the guys were talking about the Razzslam and its […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Hey gamers glad you could join us! It’s been a fun season everyone. Glad you could join us here at Razzball. I’m stepping in for Mr Pants one last time for the final Friday of the season. We all added a few more gray hairs and Grey lost a few hairs, but hey! Baseball is […]
Please, blog, may I have some more? There are a couple of teams still vying for Wild Card and also some jockeying for division crowns. I think this is the time to load up on players from those teams are there is simply no days off for those teams. Couple that with teams that are currently locked into the playoffs that need […]

Whether it is Aaron Judge chasing the AL Home Run record or Albert Pujols shocking us all with a resurgence to fantasy relevance, there have been countless headlines to chase. For our last hitter profiles of this season, we are going to take a look at who your favorite Razzball writers predicted as MVPs at the beginning of the season and compare them to the real MVPs of 2022. We will also assess where the MVPs of this year should be going off the draft board next year. Join us for one more lap around the warning track in our hitter profiles.
Please, blog, may I have some more? This is it, friends! We’re almost at the end of the line for regular season baseball in 2022, and I hope the season has treated you well. If it hasn’t, well, at least we had a season… remember back in March when it actually looked like it might not happen at all? Anyhow, I want […]
Please, blog, may I have some more? This is my last DFS article of the year, and for those of you who ever took my advice and wagered actual money, this day couldn’t have come sooner for you. However, I’ve had a blast. I figure that this is a process-driven thing we do, and YCPB (You Can’t Predict Baseball). Ultimately, it’s called […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?“Hey, yo, long-time listener, first-time caller, this is Jimmy from Dyker Heights. The Mets, guy, are killin’ me with the freakin’ James McCann, guy. I said to my ma, “Ma, what are the Mets doing, guy, they’re throwing away everything they’ve built this year to have this stunod behind the plate. Why don’t they try callin’ up what’s-his-face Francisco Alvarez. He’s the future, right, guy? The right guy, guy? You know what I’m sayin’ here, guy. Jesus effin Christ, ma, lower your freaking Dean Martin, I’m on the phone with WFAN! I read on Razzball dot com this Prospect Itch guy said a few months ago, and I quote, ‘A rare backstop in that Francisco Alvarez features plus athleticism and foot-speed, Alvarez stands alone atop minor league catcher mountain after Adley Rutschman joined the Orioles. Alvarez generates easy loft from a strong natural uppercut. After demolishing A ball for 15 games, Alvarez got the quick bump to A+ and struggled a bit before surging to finish with 22 HR and 6 SB in 84 games. That’ll play. His 12/24.6 BB/K rate ain’t too shabby either, especially considering he was 3.9 years younger than his average competitor.’ Badda bing badda boom, call this guy up, guy!” So, Jimmy from Dyker Heights got his wish, and Itch’s words speak to the excitement we should have for Francisco Alvarez next year. For this year? Well, if you wanna try to catch lightning in a bottle by all means, guy. Anyway, here’s what else I saw yesterday in fantasy baseball:
Please, blog, may I have some more?As we begin our autopsies of the 2022 FMLB season, let us gain a unique perspective to better understand the performance of a handful of players. Please, blog, may I have some more? You don’t come to Razzball to be told that Gunnar Henderson, Corbin Carroll, and Anthony Volpe are terrific prospects that you should be trying to roster/acquire. You guys already know this, because you’re here–you’ve proven to have enough good fantasy baseball knowledge to know to be here rather than other places. You may have heard […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Well folks, it’s time for a look back on the fantasy season. I am very much looking forward to the post season and October baseball even if my beloved Giants may not be involved in the quest for a trophy (they’re not eliminated yet and still hold out eternal hope). I hope that you are closing in on a championship. At this point, your team is pretty dang good if you’ve made it this far and you’re ready to roll. So what better time to look back at some standout performances from this season. I have thoughts on these guys for next season but as of right now, they’re just that, thoughts, and I will take my sweet time before ranking them in drafts. Lets look back on a few of my preseason guys. It’s football time but baseball is yet to make a thrilling finish. Fantasy baseball country, let’s ride.
