Bro…bro…bro…I’m not saying bro…Bro…bro…bro…I’m trying to say broke! I’m emotional devastated that Lucas Giolito (3 IP, 7 ER, ERA at 5.34) is so broke. Does Lucas Giolito look at a pile of garbage and think he’s looking in a mirror? I’ll be honest with you, I’ve seen piles of trash that have more redeeming qualities. Get a good pile of recyclables and maybe they can turn into something worthwhile. A Coke can might have another life as a bulk 10,000 count thing of paper clips. Lucas Giolito has no future as a paper clip. Was looking at Lucas Giolito’s stats for 2023 fantasy, and he seems like he should be much better, but also there’s a point where, “Is the juice worth the squeeze?” Speaking of juice, the God of Minute Maid, Alex Bregman went 4-for-6, 4 runs, 6 RBIs and a double slam (17, 18) and legs (1). Something that was mentioned on the Mets game the other night, that I haven’t mentioned nearly enough. Big power hitters who can hit 40 homers weren’t that affected this year (they were talking about Pete Alonso). Players who hit wall-scrappers? They were absolutely affected, and, unless the ball is altered, we’re never seeing a 30+ homer year from Bregman again. Looking at his 41-homer year now in 2019 stands out like Waldo in a Where’s Waldo cartoon, when being looked at by Waldo’s mom. A mother knows. Anyway, here’s what else I saw yesterday in fantasy baseball:
Luis Robert – Been out of the lineup for six straight games, due to being unable to swing a bat, but, in case you’re wondering about backdating an IL stint, no fear, Mr. Belvedere! Robert’s been used as a defensive replacement.
Elvis Andrus – Signed with the White Sox. La Russa said, “I love what he brings, after seeing him in concert in ’66.”
Yoan Moncada – 1-for-3, 2 runs, 3 RBIs and his 7th homer, hitting .202. Yoan Moncada undrafted in 2023 in all but 15 team mixed and deeper, and, in those leagues, enjoy! Won’t be me.
Trey Mancini – 1-for-4 and his 14th homer. After the homer, Dusty met with the home plate ump to see if he could get it overturned, because he didn’t mean to start Mancini.
Chas McCormick – 2-for-5, 2 runs, 4 RBIs and his 12th homer. Will see how this ends up being scored, but I believe Dusty is trying to get McCormick credited with Mancini’s homer too.
Luis Garcia – 5 IP, 3 ER, 11 baserunners, 4 Ks, ERA at 4.09. This video cracks me up, please enjoy (language NSFW if that’s an issue for you):
Luis Garcia pitching, thinking of this pic.twitter.com/5r4WwdGbin
— Razzball (@Razzball) August 18, 2022
Josh Jung – Rangers are saying his MLB debut is not imminent. Nah, why would it be? They’ve got a $500 million team they’re out there using to wrestle control of third place in the AL West.
Mark Mathias – 2-for-4, 2 runs and his 2nd homer. Am I interested in Mathias? Yeah, on The Twelfth of Never.
Nathaniel Lowe – 1-for-3, 2 runs, 3 RBIs and his 17th homer. He will be in this afternoon’s Buy column, though he might be over 50% rostered by now. Meh, write me a bad Yelp review.
Dane Dunning – 6 IP, 2 ER, 7 baserunners, 4 Ks, ERA at 4.06. Gonna surprise you to hear that a guy going against the A’ss was a good Streamonator call yesterday. I know, shocking.
Sheldon Neuse – 1-for-4, 2 RBIs and his 4th homer. Doing taxes? Sheldon’s your man. Hanging and banging? That’s not Sheldon’s strong suit.
Zac Gallen – 7 1/3 IP, 0 ER, 4 baserunners, 12 Ks, ERA at 2.78. He’s been exceptional this year, right? Okay, I’m baiting you. Prior to this start, his opponent, Logan Webb (4 2/3 IP, 3 ER, ERA at 3.08) was actually above him on the Player Rater. Merrill Kelly was above, Triston McKenzie and Yu Darvish were the closest SPs right above him. This start, obviously bumped him up some, and the lack of wins has been his biggest issue, but when you’re only giving four categories, it’s not great if you’re actually only giving three.
Willson Contreras – 2-for-4 and his 18th and 19th homers, 11th career multi-homer game, and is gonna be so wildly overvalued when he’s the Yankees’ catcher next year.
Adrian Sampson – 5 2/3 IP, 6 baserunners, 6 Ks, ERA at 3.51. Not sure where this is coming from with Sampson, but he sure does have a nice head of hair!
Albert Pujols – 2-for-3, 5 RBIs and his 11th homer, number 690 on his career, as he pinch-hit in the 3rd inning while the Cards were up by six runs, and, ya know what, good for Oli Marmol, because the Rockies suck and should be reminded of how much they suck every game.
Lars Nootbaar – 2-for-3, 3 runs, 2 RBIs and his 6th homer, as he hit leadoff. Raisin the roof (of your mouth) for Nootbaar!
Adam Wainwright – 7 IP, 0 ER, 3 baserunners, 7 Ks, ERA at 3.11. Never been a Wainwright guy for fantasy, or at least not until this year, and that was only because his ADP was too low. With that said (Grey’s doing a 180!), Wainwright is absolutely a Hall of Famer. How is he not a no doubter? Double negatives be damned!
Brandon Marsh – Hit the IL with a knee and ankle sprain. That’ll Marsh his buzz. I mean, harsh his Marsh. I mean, buzz his harsh!
Jose Berrios – 6 2/3 IP, 1 ER, 7 baserunners, 9 Ks, ERA at 5.39. Okay, things are really dire now. The Yankees made Berrios look good.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. – 1-for-5, 3 runs, 3 RBIs and his 26th homer, and third homer in four games. Cake Batter has only two less homers in four games than Lourdes Gurriel Jr. has on the season.
George Springer – 5-for-5, 2 runs, 1 RBI, hitting .267. Springer feels like the kind of guy the Yankees would give a five-year deal to, so he’s owed $20 mill as a 37-year-old with three years to go.
Frankie Montas – 6 IP, 6 ER, ERA at 3.87. If I’m the Yankees, I change the “as” on the end of his name to “gomery,” trot him out to the mound, and be like, “Trade deadline? Whatever do you mean? We still have Montgomery!”
Max Fried – 7 IP, 2 ER, 4 baserunners, 6 Ks, ERA at 2.60, as he was reinstated from the concussion IL. Fried said, “I feel as good as new, safe and sound back in 1955.”
Mark Canha – 2-for-3, 2 RBIs and his 8th homer. This was the first home run allowed by Fried in 69 1/3 IP. *pulls on collar* That’s a dirty number!
Jacob deGrom – 6 2/3 IP, 3 ER, 5 baserunners, 9 Ks, ERA at 2.31. He is mortal! He bleeds blood! He needs air to breathe!
Tyler Mahle – His shoulder MRI came back clean. The lab tech with the Windex is a miracle worker.
Manny Machado – 1-for-4 and his 22nd homer. Macho Macho Manny!
Yu Darvish – 8 1/3 IP, 3 ER, 5 baserunners, 6 Ks, ERA at 3.39. The bad thing in the hilarity of the Padres sucking giant eggs after the trade deadline is the teams that do nothing to try to win seem to be reaffirmed in their do-nothingness.
Andrew Heaney – 4 2/3 IP, 3 ER, 10 Ks, ERA at 1.77. If I’m being real with you, and, brucely, dawg, I am always real with you, dear reader, but I’d take this 10-strikeout game from a pitcher over a 6 IP, 3 ER, 2 Ks, start. Though, if you’re involving a win in the six-inning start, then I might have to recalibrate. Any hoo! Streamonator likes Heaney’s next start, and I agree.
Corbin Burnes – 5 2/3 IP, 3 ER, 8 baserunners, 6 Ks, ERA at 2.48. No chance of him being the best starter on the Player Rater this year, but also I see no way he’s not the number one starter off the board again next year.
Andrew McCutchen – 2-for-4, 3 runs, 3 RBIs and his 12th and 13th homer. Not sure if he’s eligible for this afternoon’s Buy, but he’s not in it anyway. He’s here now, and two homers goes a long way to becoming an instant schmotato. *shaking out box, what looks like dandruff falls into the pot* …Mmm…instant schmotatoes.
Hunter Renfroe – 3-for-3, 2 RBIs and his 21st homer. As Scooby Doo would say, “Renfroe!”
Bryan Reynolds – 3-for-4, 3 runs, 4 RBIs and his 19th and 20th homer, three homers in three games, and four homers in four games, and 20 homers in 102 games! Okay, the last one wasn’t as impressive, but it’s the Pirates so anything positive is met with skepticism.
JT Brubaker – 7 IP, 0 ER, 2 baserunners, 7 Ks, ERA at 4.19. His sinker was working last night! Organizing a union with his fastball! Demanding equal pay for all his crappy teammates! Being told, “This is the Pirates, we will trade you when it’s time for arbitration.” Streamonator is iffy on his next one, but it’s at home, and I could see it if desperate.
James Paxton – Left the mound with lat tightness. When I had Covid, they offered me Paxlovid. I declined, “I don’t mess with anything with Pax in its name,” I said. And they said, “You got burned by Paxton?” And I said, “Whoa, brainfog’s got me talking to myself about myself in third person.” And they said, “Inception!”
Michael Massey – 2-for-4 and his 1st homer, hitting .321. Have a strange tingly in my tingleberries because I’m actually starting to like Royals prospects. I might need to ride a horse like Johnny Cueto to deaden the berries.
Luis Patino – 5 2/3 IP, 0 ER, 6 baserunners, 4 Ks, ERA at 3.95, as he was recalled. Nice to see Patino knock some of the rust off, but, also, that Patino is what makes him so valuable, according to my appraiser, who is a cyclops with a monocle.
Yandy Diaz – 2-for-4, 2 runs, 3 RBIs and his 7th homer, hitting .276, hitting .202 in the last 30 days. “Hey, Netflix exec, Running up that Hill was playing in the elevator, that’s cool. Anyway, this show is the animated movie, Antz meets House Hunters on HGTV. The ants just need to keep moving because Yandy keeps hitting ground balls into their roofs. Whatchu think?”
THERE’S A NEW POST FOR FOLLOWUPS FOR ME
Rengifo at Detroit OR Montero (in Colorado) vs SF
Random baseball question – I never understood why an RBI flyout is considered a sacrifice but an RBI groundout is not. Any rationale/explanation/thoughts?
I traded Montas for Stanton a few weeks ago. Stanton has not played a single game yet I am winning the trade so far :-)
Howdy Grey,
This post might have been written out of sheer rage, but can I drop Giolito now?? LOL but seriously, I can pick up Heaney from waivers and the robot even likes his next start. Gio has been the biggest disappointment this year and idk how much longer I can deal.
Thank you sir
@Grey: Thoughts on McClanahan tonight? I heard you guys talk about him on the podcast for a little bit, and I’m thinking that the Royals could do a little bit of damage tonight – Royals o2.5 runs to be exact
I’d bet the under
You scoffed at me and dismissed my comment when I mentioned Nootbar a couple weeks ago as a hot shamato. Now I scoff back because the Noot is still hot.
Ha
BTW, if anyone’s reading this comment, Lars is hitting .176 over the last week
What did he do yesterday when moved back into the leadoff spot?
Please, tell me again how George “he looks on the precipice of a 25/7/.240 dropoff” Springer will be a schmohawk this season and how Tyler O’Neil is a top 50 hitter!
Master Lothario
In a 8 team league. Wins saves era whip k’s k/9 are the cats would you drop Robby Ray or monyas for any of these guys
Lance.lynn merril Kelly Montgomery lauer Rasmussen luzardo
Montas for JoMo
Grey
In my weekly leagues , I use both the hitter Tron and Son dollar settings for the next week ( Mon – Sun ) to make decisions on who to start/bench . While I do not follow this religiously, I do rely on it’s guidance .
The first part of the question may be more of a Rudy question, but was wondering why Seiya Suzuki is , week after week, loved by the robot.
This upcoming week , for example, he is listed as the 7th best overall hitter. This ranking has not been an outlier because he consistently is over priced by Tron. Is it because some of Trons parts are made in Japan?
Here is my dilemma. My OF consists of Soto, Acuna, B Reynolds, Seiya and Bubba Thompson. Giancarlo is supposed to return this week and I will need to bench one of these guys. Based on Hittertron ( and my lofty expectations of Seiya all year ) Thompson is the guy that should go to the bench. Yet, based on the past few weeks of performance, and the chance to gain valuable points in the standings with steals, I should probably sit Seiya. Franmil Reyes is my DH so that is yet another option to consider but he too , since I acquired him off waivers two weeks ago, has been hitting well.
So, the two questions are. Why the Seiya love ( you long time ) by Tron?
and also, who would you bench for Giancarlo’s return?
As always, thanks in advance.
P.S. With the possible exception of Saul Goodman, you have the coolest alias in the history of aliases
Question for Rudy about Tron…I’d bench Seiya or Bubba…Saul Goodman!
Which two starters you want from this list, H2H redraft?
Javier
Snell
Wright
Lynn
Kelly
May
Urquidy
Luzardo
Kirby
Stroman
Javier Kelly
Need help in the Runs category today and this weekend. Who would you pick and start over Hoerner for the Fri/Sat/Sun contests (if any)?
– Profar vs WAS
– Berti @ LAD
– Fletcher (hot) @ DET
– Yandy Diaz (hot) vs KC (if healthy)
– J. Iglesias in COL vs SF (not always top of lineup)
– Frazier (not always top of lineup)
– Newman (hot) vs CIN
– Stott vs Mets (double-header) (not always top of lineup)
– J Segura vs Mets (DoubleH) (rarely top of lineup)
Iglesias
Do you think Pirates shut down Mitch Keller?
Don’t see why they would
He came out his last start with fatigue…so I was honestly wondering what that really means.
He might not be healthy, then he could be shut down
Picked up Stone Garrett trying to catch a little lightning in a bottle. batted 2nd and got his 1st bag last night and had 28 jacks (MiLB) – whaddya think?
I like him https://razzball.com/stone-garrett-fantasy/
Grey, I read your posts so closely I caught your Covid!
HAHA, sorry! Thankfully you’re a Dr!
Are you using Lynn today at Cleveland in a roto format? He’s had mixed results against 4 weak opponents (kc x2, oak, det). 2 good / 2 bad starts. I don’t trust him. Would you move on if you had decent options in FA?
I am done with Lynn, dropped him the other day
Next 3 starts for Lynn (after Cleveland): @ Baltimore, @ Kansas City, Home to Twins, @ Oakland
For Giolito, @ Baltimore, Home to Arizona, Home to Twins, @ Oakland.
Do these matchups interest you at all enough to keep him ?
They all sound like decent matchups…if these guys were any good
That’s it! Finally giving up on that giant POS after coughing up another 7ER – who you like between Peterson (NYM) or Patino?
HAHA, Patino
Did happen to peek at his next start (@Bal) and figure he’ll throw a shutout. Tempting? One last hurrah? Nah just can’t do it
I would move on
Just saw Patino sent back down in typical TB fashion
Ha, guess that solved that
Yep thanks! Have a great weekend
You too!
Drop Peña or Grichuk to activate Trout?
Pena
Thanks. I should have included O’Neill in that question. He seems to be heating up but would you drop him before Peña?
Yes, drop O’Neill
Danke
No problem
Could you rank these SPs for me Grey?
Jesus Luzardo, Corey Kluber, Lodolo, Cobb, Junis
Depends on matchups…Codd, Lodolo, Luzardo
Codd, lol…Cobb!
Great, thanks!
Looking ahead Cobb has @COL, @ Twins, Home vs Phillies, @ LAD, @ Cubs
Lodolo has @ Phillies, @ Washington, Home vs Rockies, @ Milwaukee, and home vs Pirates,
Luzardo has @ Dodgers, @ Oakland, Home vs Tampa Bay, @ Phillies, Home vs Mets, Home vs Cubs
Lodolo seems like he has the best matchups no ?
Yeah, Lodolo does seem to
Which OF’s you like most rest of the way Grey,
Oscar Gonzalez, Brandon Lowe, Tyler O Neil, Ian Happ, Franimal, Edman
Edman, Happ, Franmil
A little over 3 years left and about $50m. Maybe he will be suspended. But yes they should. That $50m is a sunk cost. Even with that dead money, they are still way ahead. The albies deal is a joke. I hope he fired his agent if he even had one. Acuna well under market too.
Yeah, Ozuna suck cost and Albies is a joke, agreed…They should just figure Ozuna money and Albies money figures itself out and lose Ozuna
Got Dusty May coming back tomorrow and need someone to drop to activate him. Alex Wood, Pablo Lopez, Lance Lynn, or Jeffrey Springs? Could also drop Whitlock if we don’t think he’ll be getting saves.
Lynn and Lopez both suck
Mike Trout contract: $426.5 million
Trout 12 postseason at bats
(Ronald Acuña) + (Ozzie Albies) + (Austin Riley) + (Michael Harris) contracts combined: $419 million
Not bad!
Ozuna DUI. This is like 15 months after his domestic violence issue. He lost his starting job anyway. Grissom going to play LF when albies returns and probably next year too. Duvall hurt and is a FA. Atl got nothing from that spot all year.
Atl has done well with locking up players at less than market value amd has recieved a lot of credit for it, but that ozuna signing is looking pretty damn ugly.
Yeah, they should just DFA Ozuna….
I’m thinking of cutting Whit Merrifield. He’s not playing. He’s not stealing. I have him in a 14 team league that uses OBP and SLG instead of AVG. It’s also keep 6 forever. My other options at 2B are Grissom, a healthy Story, The available FAs at 2B are guys like Massey, Kim, Fletcher, Segura, Wong, Frazier…
I’d try Massey
Making any of these starts through the weekend:
-Wood in Coors
-Freddy P @ Wrigley
-Petterson @ Philly
-Manoah & Cortes facing each other
Thanks, Grey. Have a good weekend
Manoah & Cortes seems fine — you too!
Crazy to drop Montas for Junis? Have that sinking feeling he can’t/ won’t pitch well in New York. 13 team keeper, can’t keep Montas, Junis best pitcher out there. Had him most of the year but had to cut him to make room for Urias, Snell, Lynn and of course Montas in deadline deals. Making a push for first. Thanks for your help
Works for me
that and/or he might still be injured with the same injury he had a month ago. i’d side with this over a guy “can’t pitch for this team/ballpark”
Who’s the drop?(redraft)
Kirby
Heaney
Luzardo
Gotta lose 1.
Thank you sir.
Kirby
Would you be keeping Montas in a 12 teamer Grey?
I could use his spot to stream
No, stream
Morning Grey!
Who would you choose this weekend for SS?:
Adames @CHC
Grissom vs HOU
(I know that HitterTron likes Adames-cause you know: the cubs, but I feel like he (she/it/they/x/whatever) doesnt really have a feel for Grissom)
Also, how do you feel about starting Sandoval @DET today. Looking for a W, QS, and an ERA below 3.13
Thanks!
Grissom — Sandoval seems fine
hey hey hey Grey!
Not that I ever look at other fantasy baseball sites, but a friend of a friend told me that another site, which focuses on bullpens, pointed out that Hader looks like he’s either injured or too busy hanging out on SoCal beaches. Any thoughts?
Also, Mahle. I have about zero faith that a velocity-dropping should issue is going away because nothing shows up on an MRI. But I also have about 100% certainty that if I drop him, he will be lights out the rest of the way.
Lurrrrrrrrvarones!
Mahle’s droppable, Hader seems ok, lurves!
If we put James Paxton in a protective bubble his body would instantly become allergic to bubbles.
HA
Yay, first Luis Robert write up of the year! And he didn’t even get to fall out of a rolled carpet alive.
HA
My life will be a lot less stressful if I just avoid all White Sox players next year. They’re all on my no draft list.
HAHA
unless larussa is gone, which is entirely possible if they miss the playoffs and end up 3rd place in the worst/2nd worst division.
Crazy to drop Montas for Junis? Just have that sinking feeling Montas can’t/ won’t pitch well in New York. Had Junis most of the year, had to cut him to make room for Urias, Snell, Lynn and of course Montas in some deadline deals. Thanks!
Not crazy
Appreciate the Luis Garcia analysis Grey, I need a roster spot with Dustin May coming back
Always nice to start the day with a laugh
Haha, yeah
Who’s the better pickup for saves ROS, Seranthony or Bautista, they seem really close. Thank you!
Felix
got it, thank you
No problem
Grey,
You starting Lynn today @ CLE ? His home/road splits make me uneasy …
Nope
12 team, 5×5 roto
I’m in a dogfight for 1st. Currently +26IP (310 remaining). ERA, WHIP and Ks all important. You starting these guys in a 12 teamer?
Singer @TB ($11)
Bassitt @PHI ($3)
StartingSinger
so are we all 100% sure that Ohtani is giving us a two start week this week? I see that he’s scheduled everywhere to go this weekend but I feel like we’re going to get rug pulled
I’m not 100%
nobody’s 100% sure of anything really, if they say they are they are either quite ignorant or have very little imagination or memory, or both.
deep 10-team H2H points league. IP and K’s are the usual focus but getting a W really spikes the point total so I am seriously considering starting May here….
Singer +11 on SON @ TB (McClanahan is +68.2)
McCullers +10.1 @ ATL (Wright -4.7)
Javier +4.2 @ ATL (Strider +11.6)
Dustin May +8.5 v.MIA (Garrett -23.3)
Manoah +4.7 @NYY (Cortes -7.4)
Alcantara +1.6 @LAD (Pepiot -1.6)
I need 2 from the above.
What do you think?
May, Singer
Bryan Reynolds has gone full Beast Mode since Eckersley called the Pirates a lineup of no-names. Love it.
Ha, yup! Can Eck make fun of India?
We’re holding Josh Bell still…..right?
Not in all leagues, depends on options
16 tm h2h. I’m way out in first but playoffs start in two weeks.
And options?
uhhhhhh. Jesus Aguilar? Yandy? David Fletcher
You have two weeks, hold Bell for now
“I tell ya, I get no respect!”
Haha
Lourdes Guirrel seems to have lost a lot of power this season. in a 26 player keeper league, is he worth holding onto or is he worth letting go this off-season to take a chance on someone like Oscar Gonzalez, or Josh Jung (I have Bregman at 3B). 10 hitter stats including walks, strikeouts and .ops currently he’s my backup OF for when springer hits the IL or there’s a day off. My Other OF’s are Judge, Arozarena, Springer and Vaughn. Or I could use the spot for a pitcher prospect like Waldichuk or Pearson.
I’d try Oscar
Whatever happened to the old saying “0nce you show a skill for a while, you always have that skill”? Some famous and unmentionable pert coined it a couple decades ago. And now I am looking at you, Giolito and Moncada.
HAHA, yeah, right?
it didn’t mean you always show the skill and skills can deteriorate. moncada seems playing injured for a while now (hopefully that’s it), giolito i got no idea, as neither of these are old to the point where we’d think it’s a permanent skills loss. moncada has been pretty bad for a while now, before 2022.
Hey Grey!
At my deadline, swung Witt(7)/Ty Anderson (11) for Buxton (11)/Gausman(13). Keep up to 3 times. Did I do ok? Got Starling and Abrams, Varsho still for sbs but will be looking for FAs who can do that.
In ten teamer, Would you drop Adames to try Rengifo, Segura, or -gulp- India again? (Could move Abrams to SS if I lose Adames for a 2B)
Gray is literally cleared from waivers in my league but of course I have one move left this week. How does he rank vs Gilbert, May?
Thanks!
Sounds fine on the trade…I’d want Adames — Gray who
Sonny Gray, sorry-
Gray, May, Gilbert
Tough year for me in a 10 team H2H. Trying to claw my way into the playoffs. Diaz is my only closer now… would you punt saves and trade Diaz for an SP? I’m looking at Rodon or Woodruff.
I’d go Rodon
Grey!!!!
Awesome!!
a. And on a short night to boot!
b. Montas changed his name to Mo(u)ntAs(s) for my team when he went to the Yanks. I’m sure he has an injury that the As hid well.
c. Have a nice weekend.
d. George Carlin quote of the day for August 19, 2022
‘I never fucked a 10, but one night I fucked 5 twos!
Cheers,
Ante
Thanks! B. Ha C. You too! D. Haha
on the eleventeeth of smarch (which will be funny when/if that date gets a real date name if/when mathias gets really hot)
“lousy smarch weather!”
HA
Hey Grey,
1. Justin Steele or Jeffrey Springs ROS?
2. I have to bench one of these pitchers b/c of a start limit in my league. Who are you BENCHING?: Peralta @ Cubs or Morton home vs Houston? Thank you.
Springs 2. Freddy
Pujols actually pinch hit in the 3rd inning.
Of course the Cards get a shutout when they score 13 and don’t need it.
Also, Yandy Diaz was pulled in the 7th with knee soreness.
pujols needs to get more RP innings in spots like that 13 run lead in the 9th (stratton has now at least twice came out for those more than 8 run lead “saves”), just to show he’s better than say mcfarland or verhagen or some other complete bum
Oops, it was 3rd? My bad…I didn’t see on Yandy either
I don’t mind pinch hitting there since they have blown some leads this year, and have been leaving a lot on base lately. But Donovan was 2 for 2 so I would have been fine with giving him the opportunity.
I was wondering if you watched Dopesick? It’s the OxyContin story, I know we have all heard the Big Pharma stories, but it really is crazy what they were allowed to do with Oxy. I’ve only watched a couple of the 8 episodes, but it is keeping me interested.
Anything that gives Albert opps, I’m fine with it, though it did mess up my stream of Donovan…I watched Dopesick. Sackler Family should burn in hell, and everything they have should’ve been taken from them years ago…Also, Michael Keaton’s great in everything
Happy Friday!

14 team h2h keeper league: on que received a trade offer, Pasquatino + Will Smith for Giolito.
Already have Olson, Riley, Tellez 1B eligible. Have SPs listed above and Strider, Sonny Gray. I’m weak at RP, Hader, Poche, Z.Jackson, Barlow, Bass, Morgan.
Ask for a better RP? If I took Paquatino, drop Tellez?
Thankyou so much have a safe weekend!
In a keeper league I’d trade Giolito for Smith straight up.
Why?
Nestor
That Smith trade is pretty poor…Sure, better RP
