Welcome back to our 2023 hitter profiles focusing on sleepers that might just be the late round lottery tickets you need. This is where you find your Tayor Ward and Rowdy Tellez wannabes. Last week (drop in here if you missed it) we focused on a number outfielders that can be found late in the draft. This week we shift our focus to the infield to see what gems might be available. Jump on in to our second week of hitters profiles with Sleepers 2.0 for the 2023 fantasy baseball season!

Unless “it” is a major league baseball team with a divine team theme.
The Angels are no longer for sale, as of this week.
I’m about 99.9 percent sure the non-sale is not connected to the club’s minor league system, but I can say this group was a pleasant surprise late in the process. Best system Los Angeles of Arte-time has seen in a long time, and the best part is that the best players look like high-probability major league hitters.
Please, blog, may I have some more?As I was compiling the 2023 Dynasty Rankings: 150-126 this week, the song “The Final Countdown” popped into my head. Then I told myself that, thankfully, this is only third installment of the 2023 Dynasty Rankings!
This week the focus is on the Tier 6 players, a group of players that features a few more established players.
There are nine players listed between the ages of 26-29 and six who are 30 or over. While I love to hoard the younger players as much as possible, a dynasty team still needs some solid veteran players.
Pitchers and Corner Infielders
This tier is also heavy on pitchers and corner infielders. Listed are seven starting pitchers and one closer in addition to seven players who can play first or third base. When it comes to the corner infielders, it just shows how interchangeable the players are once you get past the top five at those positions.
Let’s get to the Rankings!
Enough of the small talk. It’s time to take a look at the 2023 Dynasty Rankings: 150-126.
Please, blog, may I have some more?Ozzie Albies walks into a bar. Another guy turns to him and says “For the love of God, Ozzie. Please watch where you are going! This isn’t sustainable,” (I tried out a lot of different names in this article for this joke). Last week on the first installment of 2023 Razzball Ambulance Chasers, we revisited […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Good morning, baseball fans! It’s nearly February, which means it’s almost close to time to start considering thinking about baseball! Unless, of course, you’re a fantasy sports degen like myself, in which case, it is already literally baseball season! And of course you are, or you wouldn’t be here! So let’s talk about the biggest fantasy […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Last week we talked about catchers; let’s go clockwise around the diamond and move to third base. If you’ve done any drafting yet, or if you’ve just been checking in here at Razzball regularly, you already know that the position involves a comically steep cliff after the top guys are off the board. Since Grey’s […]

Something I will regret informing you about, but have chosen to anyway is last year’s top 60 outfielders were great, except, and here’s the regret: The upsidey ones. The top 60 outfielders you wanted to do more *cough* Jo Adell *cough* did not. The ones that you had no real high hopes for like Hunter Renfroe were totally respectable. Can we learn from that? Learneth, we might! Here’s Steamer’s 2023 Fantasy Baseball Projections for Hitters and 2023 Fantasy Baseball Projections for Pitchers. Subscriptions are up and running, and you can already get Rudy’s Draft War Room. Anyway, here’s the top 60 outfielders for 2023 fantasy baseball:
Please, blog, may I have some more?Who were the real risers and fallers from MLB free agency this offseason, you ask? Let’s be clear, there was one true winner of this MLB offseason, and that was Scott Boras. He presided over more than $1.2 billion in free agency deals like he was the Pope lifting his holy hands to all those […]

Please, blog, may I have some more?I have a confession to make, dear reader: I’m glad my wife doesn’t read my work here because I simply cannot stop thinking about . . . . Maikel Garcia.
We’ll be having dinner, and she’ll be talking about her day, and I’ll be nodding along, or maybe even asking a follow-up question or two, but really all I’m thinking about is Maikel Garcia.
Well, Nate Eaton, too. And Michael Massey sometimes. This week, Kansas City opened up 1,000 or so hypothetical plate appearances by trading center fielder Michael A. Taylor and shortstop Adalberto Mondesi. Word is the White Sox checked in on Nicky Lopez after that, and the Royals told them they view him as key depth. Sigh. Just when things were getting good. Roster resource plugged Hunter Dozier in at third base, and while that’s certainly plausible, how cool would it be if KC just kept trading these prospect-blockers? An infield of Witt, Garcia, Massey and Vinnie P looks like a lot of fun. So does an outfield of Edward Olivares, Drew Waters, and Nate Eaton with MJ Melendez at DH. Kyle Isbel and Samad Taylor factor in here somewhere, too. The club also signed Johan Camargo, so there’s no real reason to stop trading now. Can just play Camargo if they get scared of the youth movement.
Let’s build an ideal May 1 lineup.

In an incredible turn of events, I’ve done all the infield 2023 fantasy baseball rankings. Less incredible, you’ve read them. It’s like that time your favorite team won because they played better than that other team but you convinced yourself they won because you cheered loudly. When I win the Fantasy Baseball Blogger of the Millennial in 2099, and my frozen head is accepting the award, I’m going to thank you, the readers, but I’m secretly going to be thanking myself. Without me, none of this would be possible. You’re a close second though! Okay, enough ranking of you and me, let’s rank some outfielders! Here’s Steamer’s 2023 Fantasy Baseball Projections for Hitters and 2023 Fantasy Baseball Projections for Pitchers. Subscriptions are up and running, and you can already get Rudy’s Draft War Room. Anyway, here’s the top 20 outfielders for 2023 fantasy baseball:
NOTE: All my rankings are currently available on Patreon for the price of a Starbucks coffee, if you get one of those extra grande frappuccino jobbers. Don’t wait for the rankings to come out over the next month, and get them all now.
NOTE II: Free agents are listed as just that and not yet projected. Once a guy signs, I will write out their blurb and add in projections, or remove them, if they sign in an unfavorable place. They are ranked currently where I think they might be if they sign on for a full-time job.
Please, blog, may I have some more?Full disclosure, if you didn’t know already, I am in fact an Angels fan. There I said it. I might have a bit of bias in this by way of hope. To that, I posit you this question: what more is a post on a baseball sleeper (fantasy or otherwise) than a prognostication of hope? […]
