We’re now through six weeks of the baseball season which is the point where I consider making big changes to my team.  No, I don’t mean cutting Razzball’s own Delino DeShields now that he’s down at AAA Round Rock.  I’m talking about trying to make a big trade if your team is at the bottom of the standings.  Don’t be afraid to be bold, it definitely could be better than standing pat.  And if you aren’t sure about things, there’s plenty of people on the website to ask their opinions.  Here’s a summary of what’s been posted in the last week on Razzball:

Grey, Rudy Gamble and Dan Pants gave us daily notes throughout the week.  You can find them all here.  “Showtime for Skin’Em Max” is a world class title, well done Grey.

M@’s Weekly Hitter Rankings focused on A.J. Reed while J.B. took a deeper look at Aaron Nola in his Weekly Pitcher Rankings.  I expect that once he comes back, Yu Darvish is going to get a huge bump up.  Since I own him in the majority of leagues I’m in, I can’t wait for his return.

This week’s Podcast warned everyone about Cole Hamels; sell high and do it now.

MattTruss’ RCL Update looked at Jose Altuve and how great he’s been so far.  No surprise at all he’s on the current leader’s team.

Son’s Buy/Sell post looked at players who had a strong week, notably Bartolo Colon.  There will be nothing better happening this season than Colon hitting that home run.  31 seconds to round the bases!

Ralph Lifshitz did an excellent breakdown on Kevin Maitan, the 16 year old wunderkind who has a handshake agreement to sign with the Braves on July 2nd.  You can find the piece here; don’t forget the name.  As a Braves fan, it’s one of the only things I have to look forward to this season and it’s not even on the field!

Big Magoo’s One Man’s Trash takes a look at three players with the main focus on Brandon Drury.  I’m not a big fan of Drury but he is a Hot Schomato right now.  He also broke down Felix Hernandez in his Bear or Bull piece.

J.B. updated us on the REL which is shaping up a lot like the real MLB season.

Malamoney gave us Round 4 of the Guessing Game.

Malamoney also wrote about Jose Altuve in his Points Leagues  post.  Yeah, he’s been that good.

Grey also did a Buy/Sell piece this week which looked at Jonathan Villar, among others.  He should be owned everywhere at this point; I’ve had him since day 1 in my RCL and he’s a big reason why I’m in first place.

Smokey’s Bullpen Report takes a deeper look at holds around the league.

M@’s Two Start Pitchers post looks at Kenta Maeda and everyone else who goes twice in Week 7.  Another excellent title, well done.

Ralph also wrote the second part of his 2016 MLB Draft Preview here.

Phil B. gave us his weekly update on OPS Leagues.  He looks at a bunch of old guys who are exceeding expectations.

THE WEEK AHEAD

Streamonator expects Francisco Liriano to bounce back from getting destroyed by the Cubs by mowing down the Braves.  He’s the #11 pitcher for Week 7 despite only having one start.

Hittertron doesn’t have any major surprises near the tops of its rankings but it does like Byung-Ho Park and John Jaso quite a bit.

DFS Bot and Stackonator will be updated to assist you with your daily fantasy needs along with a daily post by our experts for DraftKings.

That’s all for now guys.  If you have any questions or comments, post them below and I’ll answer as soon as possible.  You can also find me on the hockey side of things at Razzball here.  Take care!
