Aaron Sanchez, $10,300 vs San Diego, has been great over his last six games limiting offenses to less than 2 runs, 6 hits and 2 walks over 40 innings. The 24 year old former closer has been the Blue Jays Ace this year going 10-1 with a 2.87 ERA to go along with his 108 Ks. Even more intriguing is that he’s doing all of this in the AL “Beast” going up against some of the toughest hitters in the league. Hitters have been struggling all year to square him up as his 3.44 FIP ranks sixth behind Corey Kluber. The Padres scored 10 runs yesterday, but much of that damage was done against Washington’s bullpen in the 8th and 9th innings. San Diego still leads the league in Ks vs RHP, so I’m counting on that trend to continue so our boy Cheeze can rack up at least 7-9 K and possibly hit double digits if he doesn’t get pulled early innings limits. There’s been tons of of talk about him getting sent to the bullpen and if those rumors are true this may be one of a handful of times that we have left to roster him in DK. Let’s get some Cheeze, so we can get that DK cheddar.

Dallas Keuchel, SP $8,000 – I know he hasn’t been anywhere close to his 2015 Cy Young campaign, but he’s at home and he dominates the Yankees. Over his last 5 starts against NY he’s 3-1 with a 1.45 ERA and 31 K’s in 31 innings.
Michael Pineda, SP $8,800 – This is a gamble cuz dude has looked like a straight Ace at times and at others he looks like hot garbage. If the Ace side shows up, he could easily hit double digit stirkeouts against a free swinging Houston line up.
Jett Bandy, C $2,700 – Solid price for a guy who’s swinging a hot stick over the last 2 weeks. He’s collected hits in 7 of his last 9 games to go along with 2 HRs.
Albert Pujols, 1B $3,800 – I’m loving the low price for Pujols, he rewarded us last week with 2 HR’s and 6 RBI. Ian Kennedy got tagged for 7 HRs his last time out and I think he’ll cough up another 3 or 4 tonight. Bombs Away!
Jonathan Schoop, 2B $3,800 – He’s been great this year delivering not only in the power department, but the average as well. He’s facing lefty Jorge De La Rosa who’s already coughed up 12 HRs in just 73 innings of work this season. I like quite a few offense matchups in this game, so be sure to keep an eye on the weather.
Brandon Phillips, 2B $3,000 – That Dude BP has quietly picked up hits in 12 straight games. I’m just hoping his power game shows up tonight in San Francisco vs Jake Peavy.
Nolan Arenado, 3B $4,700 – The winds are picking up in Baltimore and Yovanni Gallardo isn’t in Kansas anymore Toto.
Jake Lamb, 3B $5,500 – Our favorite Tri-Lamb is a little to pricey for my taste, but it’s Monday and he’s in the lefty jet stream AKA Miller Park.
Trevor Story, SS $5,300 – Stop me if you’ve heard this Story before, he’s got 6 HRs over his last 7 games. I just wished I owned him somewhere other than DK; at least I got Villar, SAGNOF.
Carlos Correa, SS $5,200 – He hasn’t been anywhere near the aforementioned Story, but he’s been heating up along with the rest of the Houston offense. If the hot mess shows up it could be Crush City in Houston tonight, oh I forgot to mention he’s rocking a BVP of 5/6 with 2 HRs vs Pineda.
Mark Trumbo, OF $4,700 – Let’s Get Ready To Trumbo!!!! Another BVP special as he’s 3/6 with 2 HRs and 5 RBI. He’s been absolutely mashing this year and he picked up 2 more bombs this weekend. Go Trumbo Go.
Carlos Gonzalez, OF $4,900 – He may not be in Coors, but Camden Yards is right up there and I love the match up vs Gallardo.
Marcell Ozuna, OF $3,700 – He’s cooled off a bit as of late, but I have a feeling he gets back on track tonight against Jeremy Hellickson.
Khris Davis, OF $5,000 – Krush has is due for another 4 to 5 game mash fest and he’s 4/5 with a HR and 3 RBI vs Martin Perez.
Adam Duvall, OF $3,900 – Here’s another gut play. He’s facing his former team and Jake Peavy’s on the bump, all systems go.
I’m Only Happy When It Rains
There are Thunderstorms in a handful of games tonight:
STL vs NYM 60%
OAK vs TEX 50% at game time, but only 20% later in the night
COL vs BAL 35% keep an eye on this one as it has there is tons of offense expected in this game
DET vs BOS 30%
Doing Line In Vegas
Cheeze and the rest of the Bluejays lead the way tonight at -225 with Arrieta and the Cubs following at -190 vs their cross town rivals. The A’s and Rangers are projected to have the highest offensive output at 10.5 O/U, but I’m leaning towards the O’s and Rockies to be the big one tonight.
