I’ll admit Wei-Yin and Win might be a bit of a stretch, but I’ve got winning on my mind and all of us grinders just want to “win, win, win, no matter what.”  Wei-Yin Chen at $8,000 gets his shot at the Padres tonight and I’d say “Just Win Baby”, but he better do a lot more than that considering the matchup.  Coming into the year, Chen looked like he was primed to have a big season as he moved away from Camden Homerun Yards and into the NL’s largest park.  Unfortunately Chen hasn’t delivered on that preseason hype, but he was responsible for bruising J-Fer’s ego by getting the Opening Day nod.  Outside of his 12 K performance against the Brewers last month, he’s been mediocre at best, topping out at 5 K’s vs Pit and Atl.  I love exploiting teams coming off that Rockie Mountain High and at the discounted price tag of 8K vs an already bad Padres offense, I’ll take him in both cash and tourney play for tonight.  I’m torn between pairing Chen with Max Scherzer vs the Cubs at $12,200 or Zack Greinke at $11,200 vs the Dodgers.  I haven’t rostered Greinke all year, especially at home, but he seems like he’s finally settled into the terrible AZ jerseys nabbing 5 W’s in his last 5 starts with 29 K’s and a 1.89 ERA.  Mad Max looks like he’s back on track too, but I think Greinke will be under owned due to his struggles at home, so I’m rolling with the Zack Attack.  I’d by lying if I said I loved the Greinke matchup, but he’s facing his former team, so I anticipate a huge effort out of him tonight.

Carlos Carrasco, SP: $10,800 – Here’s another guy I think will be under owned due to his two subpar performances since returning from the DL.  He’s had enough time to shake the rust off and he’ll get it going tonight against a struggling Royals offense.

Chase Anderson, SP: $7,700 – I wouldn’t go near him in cash play, but I like the matchup in SF vs Matt Cain and a depleted Giants offense.

Jonathan Lucroy, C: $3,900 – If you saved all on pitching then go ahead and splurge on a catcher, especially against the aforementioned Cain who’s making his first start off the DL.

Cameron Rupp, C: $2,600 – Yeah, I didn’t save my dollar, dollar billz for a catcher, so you know I’m going with the balla on a budget.

Miguel Cabrera, 1B: $4,300 – Miggie, Miggie, Miggie can’t you see, sometimes your bombs just hypnotize me!  He’s facing the SP formerly know as Big Game James Shields.  All aboard for a Tiger’s Dong train…………. jump on now cause balls be flying out the yard tonight.  For the record, this is the only type of Dong train I’ll be endorsing.

Albert Pujols, 1B: $3,600 – Pujol’s has been effin with my emotions all season.  He looks like he’s going to turn the corner then he goes 2/20.  Yesterday I benched him across the board on all of my regular fantasy teams, he now knows what needs to be done.

Jurickson Profar, 2B: $3,100 – He’s cooled off a bit over the past week, but with the top 2B’s priced higher than every other position player I’ll roll with him against the LH rookie Sean Manaea.

Brian Dozier, 2B: $4,100 – He’s raised his average almost 25 points over the last 10 games and that’s a lot for a guy who’s had 200 AB’s this season.  He’s facing Jeff Weaver who’s topping out at 84 MPH on his fastball.  Damn, he can’t even get the DeLorean up to speed any more.

Jake Lamb, 3B: $4,300 – Our favorite Tri-Lamb missed the Tri-Fecta by one day last week.  Dude decided to go big fly on Tuesday instead of his usually Monday.

Josh Donaldson, 3B: $4,400 – I’m still trying to figure out how he’s at $4,400 and Danny Valencia is $5,200 against Yu.  Granted Yu isn’t starting tonight, but how the eff did Valencia get to be the top of the 3B chain?  I’ll take the other JD for $800 bucks less with a juicy matchup at home vs Jerad Eickhoff.

Tim Anderson, SS: $2,700 – “As you can see, we’ve had our eye on you for some time now, Mr. Anderson.”  The Southside finally brought up their stud SS that hopes to impact his club like Lindor did last year for the Tribe.

Danny Espinosa, SS: $3,200 – I feel like Dusty brought up Turner just to light a fire under his ass and that shizz worked cause he’s been absolutely mashing with 6 HR’s over his last 10 games.

J.D. Martinez, OF: $5,000 – The Dong train is long and strong tonight.  All Dong complaints can be directed towards J-Foh as he’s the J-Dong originator.   I wonder if 10 years from now, J-Foh will be hosting Intentional Talk and reminiscing about coming up with J-Dong, like Millar tells everyone how he came up with Big Papi.  Don’t forget me J-Foh!

Ryan Braun, OF: $3,900 – The Hebrew Hammer is coming home…well sort of, he’s from So-Cal.  I have a feeling he breaks out of his little slump against Cain.

Mike Stanton, OF: $3,900 – I’m refusing to call him by his birth name until he reverts back to the HR Terminator we saw in the previous three seasons.  I’ll give it to Bonds; he fixed Ozuna, he’s got Bour and Yelich swinging it, but I didn’t draft any of those guys in the 1st round, so please let the real Stanton Stand Up!  Even if it’s Mike.

Mike Aviles, 3B/OF: $2,600 – DK Discount play.  If he’s in the lineup he’s got a solid BVP of 10/33 with 2 HR’s vs Shields.

I’m Only Happy When It Rains

Things look promising tonight, but I said that last week and the game got rained out, so be sure to double check before the games go off.  Cle vs KC has a 40%, but it’s going to be 80 degrees.  Cin vs Atl is at 20% and Det vs Chi is at 8%.

Doing Lines In Vegas

I’m a little surprised, but Dickey and Greinke are leading the pack tonight at -168 vs Philly and the Dodgers.
