    Trade help……
    Keeper league keep forever….
Get ….JD Martinez ,Voit ,Kikuchi ,Anderson RP Marlins
Give ….. Krush Davis, bogaerts, Bieber , Yates , lucchesi

    • Need some context here. What type of league? How many keepers? Are there dollar amounts or rounds tied to your keepers or is it just the first x number of rounds?

      • Tom says:

6×6 with walks and losses for pitchers
Keep 6 players and 1 of those keepers has to be a new keeper …… the keepers are just the first 6 rounds

        • It’s a hold for me. As much as I typically go for the best player in the deal, I think you’re giving up too much in this one.

It’s a fair deal. I prefer the JD side but my answer could also change depending on the rest of your roster and needs.

16 team keeper league, keep 12 $260 budget.

My Lindor ($7) for his Scherzer ($35), Giles ($20), E. Escobar ($20) I might be able to squeeze him for R. Ray ($35) or Darvish ($26).

My current staff: Bauer ($23), Buehler ($16), German ($17), Musgrove ($20)

Should I take the deal? Hurts losing Lindor but this is a haul.

    Thanks!

    • I’d just keep Lindor at $7. Gives you so much more flexibility with your budget elsewhere. Scherzer is the only player you’d be getting that is a guaranteed keeper and it’s not at much of a value especially if there’s any kind inflation. And your pitching staff doesn’t need the boost at this point. Just fill in with relievers around your guys.

Thanks. The guy who is offering me this thinks I am nuts for turning it down. Anywho appreciate the response

        • So, you definitely did the right thing. Classic pissed off guy response when he doesn’t get the trade he wanted done.

        Inflation is $5 per year

        • Not a single player you would’ve been getting would be any value for next season. I’d want at least one cost controlled, quality asset if I’m moving around a $7 Lindor.

This is what I keep saying.

I’d definitely try squeezing him for one of those two arms, but if push came to shove I’d do it without assuming you feel it puts you over the top for this year.

      You’re right, that’s a haul with 16 teams but a $7 Lindor deserves a haul…

      No problem!

I mean I would dominate the pitching categories but afraid it would kill my offense to a degree. My other bats are Abreu, Chapman, K. Davis, D. Murphy, Winker, Puig, Pinder, Meadows (DL). Does that tilt it one way or another?

Thanks again you guys are all great at answering questions, love the site and feedback you get here!

        • Your offense is just fine for a 16 teamer with that pitching staff. I don’t think you need a pieces trade given the roster. Also, give the podcast a listen!

          • Ok, Scherzer isn’t a piece, but you don’t need the swap of offense for pitching.
