Donkey Teeth and I have profiled everyone in this grouping, except Kershaw, at some point or another on the podcast. If you want some detailed profiles, go check out those various episodes. Outside of the first week of the season, this is the toughest week to figure out the 2 start pitchers. There’s a lot of educated guessing in here, and hopefully, it helps your preparation. The table at the bottom may end up being more helpful once more starters are announced Monday and Tuesday. Nothing more here, start these guys.

The Donk and Don are back talking sausage and baseball again this week. Off the top they discuss the fresh signing of Craig Kimbrel with the Chubbies along with B_Don’s recent trade of Kimbrel for Noah Syndergaard in the RCL Perts League. How much risk is there with Kimbrel after missing the first 10 weeks of the season? The guys also discuss whether there’s reason for concern with Chris Paddack and Trevor Bauer moving forward.

In the profiles segment, DT breaks down rookie unknown Zach Plesac while B_Don takes a close look at Nicky Pee-pants Pivetta. There’s a lot to like about both of these youngsters, but one of them provides a decidedly higher floor; find out which!
The show is rounded out with some rapid fire pick ups for 10-12 team leagues as well as deeper formats, including Jay Bruce, Garrett Cooper, Ramon Laureano, Bryan Reynolds, Alex Reyes, Scott Kingery, Luis Urias, Jon Duplantier, Trevor Richards, Willy Adames and many more. This June sausage is extra plump, put some in your mouth and ears now!

Ron Swanson: Lover of meat, woodworking, hunting, whisky, and breakfast foods. Also, a promising rookie pitcher for the Seattle Mariners. That’s Erik Swanson, dummy. Who keeps inviting the random italicized voice and why is it so condescending?

Donkey Teeth and B_Don discuss the ins and outs of young Erik Swanson’s game, only hours prior to Swanson’s second major league start against the San Diego Padres. They then take a look at an early pitching breakout candidate, Matt (Matthew?) Boyd. Can these guys please stop changing their names on us already?
In the final segment, a bunch of hot pickup names are flipped around, fresh off the grill: Cole Tucker, Michael Chavis, Renato Nunez, Hunter Dozier, Mike Soroka, Mike Tauchman, Jesus Luzardo, and Alex Reyes, just to name more than a few. Grab your sausage and prepare for pleasuring on this week’s episode of the world’s #1 fantasy sausage podcast.

The Ditka Pod is once again graced with the presence of Fantasy Master Lothario Albright this week. After an ad nauseam discussion regarding the confusing nature of the podcast name (it’s a play on SNL’s Super Fans by the way), Grey breaks down B_Don & Donkey’s recent blockbuster trade in the RCL Perts League.

Then it’s time for some early season victory laps where Tim Anderson, German Marquez, and Jose Ramirez are examined at length. Other topics of discussion include fantasy strategy in the extra juiced ball era, expectations for Chris Sale & Jacob deGrom moving forward, Hunter Dozier’s ongoing breakout, whether Miguel Cabrera is a pile of sh*t, and the mostly irrelevant Mike Ford. Uncontrollable giggles and sausage will flow when Master Grey comes around.

B_Don and Donkey dig their hands and hoofs in the the starting pitcher sausage this week on the Ditka Pod.

What will they find as they sift through this years pitching mystery meat? Could Joe Musgrove be in for a breakout season?

Is Trevor Williams’s beard top 5 in the NL? Will Chris Paddack be the best rookie SP in 2019?

Are Donkey Teeth’s Top 100 Starting Pitchers pure nonsense? Are cucumbers better pickled?

What kind of a lazy intro just lists 6 questions in a row?

If you don’t have time to listen to the podcast, the answers to those questions are: 1) You don’t want to know
2) Yes 3) Debatable 4) Maybe 5) Definitely 6) No 7) Good Question.

On second thought, you should probably just listen to the podcast. Oh, and also check out our starting pitcher rankings below…

Wheeeewwwwwwyyyy! What is that smell? Well, it might’ve been Rougned Odor’s 2017 batting average or the failed 2018 expectations, but I’m here to tell you that the Odor is becoming less repulsive and may be somebody to take a shot on in 2019. Like R. Kelly is trying to do after Surviving, Roogie looks to bounce back in 2019.

Coming off an abbreviated week of baseball, B_Don and Donkey Teeth bring to you an abbreviated (still 42 minutes) show. The Ditka duo highlights the pitching matchup from the opening game of the second half as Carlos Martinez and Kyle Hendricks squared off in a forgettable fray of divisional opponents, and podcast host favorite teams. End result? CMart is the most recent victim of the Sausage curse as he finds himself on the DL shortly following the skirmish.

Donkey Teeth then takes a break from catching fish to help you land the next big free agent in the pickups segment. This week’s targets include recent call ups Willie Calhoun, Garrett Hampson and Willy Adames. Here’s another taste of the Ditka Sausage Pod.
