Hey, how’s everyone doing? Why am I icing my ankle? I’ll explain: Jumping on a couch for the promotion of Crews, when I fell, spraining my ankle, because I was showing off by doing my own enthusiasm. That’ll teach me to do my own enthusiasm. [plays Mission Impossible theme] Dylan Crews (0-for-3, as he hit 2nd), your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to continue your under-20% strikeout rate and ability to hit for power and steal bases. He was in the top 15 for Itch’s top 25 prospects for 2024. He also mentioned him in the top 10 2025 prospects, but said he hoped Crews wouldn’t be eligible. Think he will be held out long enough to keep his rookie eligibility for next year, so I will be going over him in detail in November when I break down all fantasy rookies. For this year, there’s no reason to not grab him in all leagues, he could be great from the jump. [pumps fist] Ow, I think I strained my elbow. Stupid enthusiasm! Anyway, here’s what else I saw yesterday in fantasy baseball:
Jacob Young – 2-for-3 and his 3rd homer. Is it me or does Jacob Young sound like the oldest person at a backgammon tourney? Like a 96-year-old who learned to play during the Korean War? He goes by Prune Face. No? Hmm, maybe it’s me.
Juan Yepez – 1-for-3 and his 5th homer, hitting .284. I’m reminded of when Yepez came up, hit .350 for two weeks and people were like, “Yepez or Vlad?”
Gleyber Torres – 2-for-5 and his 12th homer, 2nd homer in two games. The weight of hitting in front of Soto/Judge usually doesn’t hit guys until the 2nd week so we’ll see if Gleyber Can Carry The Weight to The End.
Jazz Chisholm Jr. – 1-for-4 and his 21st homer. Gleyber hitting leadoff is fine with me since I don’t have him or Jazz, but that Jazz isn’t hitting leadoff is especially obvious of Boone’s ding-dong behavior. If he knew Jazz better, he’d hit him leadoff. How does he not know him better is the problem. I know Florida’s got its issues, but I’m pretty sure they have video replay.
Nestor Cortes – 6 2/3 IP, 1 ER, 6 baserunners, 5 Ks, ERA at 3.89. Went over him in detail last time out in my Nestor Cortes fantasy. He’s back, baby!
Bobby Witt Jr. – 2-for-6, 2 runs and his 27th homer. Fun fact! If you take anyone’s name with a Junior and abbreviate a’la Bo-Wi-Ju, it sounds like a Pokemon character.
MJ Melendez – 4-for-9, 3 RBIs and his 17th homer, and his 2nd homer in two games. Now he’s played three games, but it’s not like the Jays/Red Sox doubleheader where you get some stats, but not others because the games were months apart. I saw Bo Bichette got an 0-for-1 from June 26th added to my line yesterday, and I was like, “Hey, old friend who sucks. It had been a while.” Any hoo! Melendez appears to be a schmotato.
Cole Ragans – 4 IP, 1 ER, ERA at 3.28, as he left with a hamstring cramp. Take some Midol and stay out there for the 5th to get me the win!
Salvador Perez – 5-for-7, 3 runs, 6 RBIs and his 24th and 25th homer, hitting .282. Sal P. with a legit chance to catch William Contreras as the top catcher on the Player Rater. Way better than Adley, by the by.
Jack Leiter – Will be called up to start vs. the White Sox this week. Good matchup. [sees he had a 16.39 ERA in three starts this year] Umm…good matchup!
Ryan Mountcastle – Hit the IL with a sprained left wrist. On the next Mountcastle, “Detective Constable Mountcastle’s investigation hits a snag while the O’s rely on Ryan O’Hearn and Emmanuel Rivera, both suspect at 1st base, and Surrey’s own Eloy Jimenez is asked to DH more, even though he’s never appeared at work more than a few weeks in a row.”
Oneil Cruz – 1-for-4, 1 run as he DH’d, but Pirates said he will be getting time in centerfield during September in case they want to move him next year. You only need one SS (two if you have MI and you lean that way). Most leagues need five outfielders. What I’m getting at is Cruz with OF eligibility is nice. He would be the 16th best OF right now on the Player Rater.
Henry Davis – Was recalled with Joey Bart hitting the IL. Hammerin’ Hank Davis has power for days, but it’s been months since I’ve been excited for him, i.e., let’s see something first.
Mitch Keller – 4 IP, 3 ER, ERA at 3.84. This was one of those blowouts where it wasn’t unearned runs, but it sure as hell could’ve been way worse than the line.
Bryan Reynolds – 1-for-3 and his 20th homer. Went back to Snoozeville in August (1 HR, .250 prior to yesterday), but I only say that to reverse jinx him into doing something.
Pete Crow-Armstrong – 3-for-5, 2 runs and three steals (24, 25, 26), that’s in under 275 ABs, i.e., PCA stands for Psorry Catcher Ammarun. P’s silent. PCA is moving into must-own territory. Though, in fairness, the Pirates’ Yasmani Grandal was like a CVS employee during a smash and grab. “They don’t pay me enough to stop stealing.” Seiya Suzuki (4-for-6, 3 runs, 1 RBI) grabbed his 11th steal, Cody Bellinger (2-for-5, 2 runs, 2 RBIs) stole his 8th; Ian Happ (2-for-3) stole his 10th and 11th and Nico Hoerner (2-for-4, 2 runs, 1 RBI) stole his 25th.
Dansby Swanson – 1-for-3, 2 runs, 4 RBIs and his 11th homer. It feels almost impossible someone homered for the Cubs and it wasn’t a slam and legs. Swanson: Making the Impossible Possible (not in a good way).
Isaac Paredes – 2-for-5, 3 runs, 2 RBIs and his 19th homer. Ya know, he’s always making the impossible possible. The impossible: Hitting homers without hard contact.
Kyle Tucker – Still not running at full speed, but the Astros are saying he will return 1st week of September. He’s been day-to-day with a shin bruise since 1976.
Ronel Blanco – 5 2/3 IP, 2 ER, 9 baserunners, 5 Ks, ERA at 3.14 vs. Zack Wheeler – 6 IP, 2 ER, 8 baserunners, 6 Ks, ERA at 2.74. Wheeler has a chance at a top overall starter year on the Player Rater and Ronel has a chance at top 15 overall. Is the difference between them worth 400 picks in a draft? I don’t know, you tell me.
Elias Diaz – Signing a minor league deal with the Padres. So, clearly no MLB GMs play fantasy, because it took way too long for Diaz to sign and only for a minor league deal is crazy. I’m not saying he’s Mickey Tettleton sipping Tetley Tea after every dong, but Diaz is not bad.
Manny Machado – 2-for-4, 3 runs, 3 RBIs and his 21st homer. Macho macho Machado!
Randy Vasquez – 6 IP, 2 ER, 8 baserunners, 2 Ks, ERA at 4.52. Streamonator hates his next one and I can’t disagree, but if you started him for the 2-start week, may the Schwartz be with you.
Bryce Miller – 7 IP, 1 ER, 2 hits, zero walks, 10 Ks, ERA at 3.23. Next year, I’m drafting only M’s and Brewers pitchers not named Castillo and Peralta.
Randy Arozarena – 1-for-3, 3 RBIs and his 17th homer. “Yeah, it’s fine, we can use him as bait to try to catch a shark–Hold up! Randy moved! He’s alive!”
Josh Lowe – 2-for-3, and his 8th homer, hitting .234. Realquestion: Where the hell is he drafted next year? Top 100? Top 150? 200?
Bailey Ober – 2 IP, 9 ER, ERA at 4.06. Lifting my fantasy team by its scalped head, “It’s not over, it’s just Ober.” My fantasy team’s scalped head, detached from its body, says, “Same thing.”
Matt Wallner – 2-for-3, 2 runs and his 10th homer, 2nd homer in three games, third homer in five games, and the Twins continue to put up stats from everyone and no one.
Matt Olson – 3-for-5, 2 runs, 5 RBIs and his 23rd homer. Just get to 30 homers so this isn’t a complete disaster, you disaster merchant.
Travis d’Arnaud – 1-for-5, 2 RBIs and his 14th homer. It’s almost September and d’Arnaud, who was the backup catcher for most of the year, is less than ten homers behind Olson. Disgraceful.
Max Fried – 5 IP, 1 ER, 4 hits, zero walks, 7 Ks, ERA at 3.50. This start was in 73 pitches but there was a rain delay and Fried’s numbers look solid. Hey, take the W, and hope this is a sign of good things to come.
Javier Baez – Will undergo season-ending hip surgery. He’s having a metal plate put in that jerks his swing closed when a slider is thrown.
Parker Meadows – 1-for-5 and his 5th homer. Shh, I’m thinking you might be a sleeper for next year. Rest for now.
Spencer Torkelson – 3-for-5, 3 RBIs and his 6th homer, 2nd homer in a week, and has been better since he returned. He feels like one of those guys who, even if he’s cheap next year, I’m gonna struggle to draft. Just not much here in best case scenario. Hopefully that’s the kind of jinx he needs.
Ty Madden – 5 IP, 1 ER, 7 baserunners, 2 Ks, as he made his his first MLB start. Madden wore Skechers on the mound and talked about his cameo in The Wolf of Wall Street. Wait, I have the wrong Wiki page open. Madden’s sporting huge Ks in the minors (11.6 K/9 in Triple-A) and claims to have command that he hasn’t shown. If he stays up, I could see being interested in 15-team mixed leagues and deeper, but Streamonator for shallower leagues. Lack of command just makes him too dangerous there.
Davis Martin – 5 IP, 1 ER, 8 baserunners, 4 Ks, ERA at 2.96. Started Martin in one league for his 2-start week, and as I did, I turned to the mirror and said, “You’re crazy like a fox!”
Jose Berrios – 7 2/3 IP, 2 ER, 8 hits, zero walks, 6 Ks, ERA at 3.72. This start definitely happened in August and not June, I think.
George Springer – 2-for-4, 3 RBIs and I think his 2nd homer in two games, but somehow he hit his 7th homer yesterday and his 19th. No real idea how we’re supposed to be judging yesterday’s stats for the Jays and Red Sox. Did Duran homer yesterday once? Twice? Did Springer homer once? Twice? I honestly don’t know. I need a long think over what happened yesterday with the stats.
Danny Jansen – 1-for-4 as Danny Jansen Inception game took place. So, in case you haven’t heard, and, honestly, unless you were out of the country for the last week, you’ve heard, and by out of the country, I’m not counting Canada, because they heard. Jays and Red Sox game was suspended on June 26th when Danny Jansen was up at bat for the Jays with one strike. He’s since been traded to the Red Sox, where he caught yesterday’s game, technically while he was at-bat. Danny Jansen Multiplicity. Man vs. Nature? No! Nothing! Nil! Danny Jansen vs. Danny Jansen. Though, to rain on everyone’s excitement, which is how we got into this predicament, if Jansen was on the Jays when the June 26th game happened, why wouldn’t he return to the Jays? Any hoo! It would’ve been nice for Danny Jansen to steal on Danny Jansen after Danny Jansen is called for catcher’s interference on Danny Jansen, then come home on a single and have a Danny Jansen/Danny Jansen collision at the plate to set right this space-time continuum.
Grey! 6×5 including OPS keeper league where keeper value is tied to the round a player was drafted in. 10 team league.
This is the last week of my season before the playoffs and I’m 0.5 games up on the last playoff spot. I was just offered his Holliday for my Trea Turner from the first place team who is loaded.
Both Turner and Holliday are round 2 keepers.
Which player would you prefer?
While I’m likely to make the playoffs, I’m a bit hesitant bc of how good the first place team is. I know any week can be a crapshoot, but I’m trying to balance being realistic and optimistic.
Hold Turner and keep him next season at round 2 value or trade him for Holliday and keep him next season at round 2 value?
Thanks!
CWS and TEX start in a downpour, do 4 pitches and call it a night. What a joke.
Man, Norby and Stowers having a night, how is the Orioles side doi……
Rece Hinds recalled. Anything to see there?
Id hope regular ABs at minimum for GOAT OF GOATS
Nationals Corbin Burnes not surprisely shutting down the Yankees. 6IP 2H 0ER 6K. Cy Young winners do stuff like that.
Ha, of course!
Kyle Tucker update: Started sprinting. “Close” to running bases.
Dude cant even be in Nascar, cant go straight and turn left yet.
HAHA
Man DeJong……..is legit? Scary his numbers and Naylors are so close. Wasnt Naylor a .270 guy at one point? Get the dude on a conditioning program or change his last name to McDouble and get sponsered instead of just Burger.
Yeah, Naylor’s AVG kinda plummeted this year
@Grey: weekly roto. freeman is sitting today. seems like a just a rest day, but not sure. would you swap him out of the lineup for suarez (3 vs nym, 3 vs lad)?
Sure, go for it
Hey Grey, this is a bit convoluted but if Mountcastle comes back on the 2nd how would he, PCA, and Ramon Urias rank ROS from the 2nd?
PCA, Mount
12 team h/h points redraft … Bobby Miller or Albert Suarez …ROS
Suarez
Ugh, ok… sorry, I got one more for ya today.
Just because both Ray & Lodolo hit the IL today & my IL is now overcrowded by 1:
Are you holding all the following (with only 3 IL spots) in hopes someone comes back quick
or
cutting someone to make room for an active player on my active roster:
Thanks again!
Harvey seems useless
Thank you.
was stashing in hopes he’d be inserted as the closer in KC… prob a pipe dream anyway.
Yeah, seems unlikely
That Lodolo injury is just ripe for memes
(1) I know its early but what is your assessment for a 2025 keeper:
(a) McCarthy or Yoshida?
(b) Schwellenbach or Gavin stone?
(2) I have $3 left and an available roster spot (Robbie Ray on IL). Should I try for a $1 bid for Crews. If ao, who’s the weaker closer from (1)?
Yoshida
Schwellenbach
2. sure
(3) Should I use $ for an available SP (and if so, which ones): Arrighetti; Eduardo Rodriguez; Jeffrey Springs; Zeby Matthews; Bowdin Francis. I’m dubious I’d get any, but just in case …
depends what you need — Bowden, Arrighetti, Zebby, Springs
Springer or Cowser ROS?
Cowser
B Lowe or Markell Garcia
Lowe
** Correction, start Schwellenbach @MIN?
1) Please rank for this week:
NoJo (6 games at Coors)
Tyler ONeill (3 home and 4 away)
Soler (6 away)
Arozarena (2 home 4 away)
2) All relatively close, or big gaps?
Thank you.
If it makes a difference, NoJo is not in tonight’s lineup.
NoJo, Randy, Tyler
14 team h2h league keeper-
Starting Schwellenbach @MIL tonight?
Thanks!
sure
Springer or Cowser?
Cowser
Who do I sit out of these hitter matchups?:
Langford on the road vs Crochet
Gurriel Jr at home vs Manaea
Friedl at home vs Mitch Spence
Happ on the road vs Jared Jones
Kerry Carp at home vs Cueto
Just need to sit 1 btw, thanks
Carp
Afternoon & Happy National Just Because Day!
Just because I can’t ever seem to find a decent closer, I’m enlisting your assistance again…
who do you like best for saves (no holds) league?
Thank you!
Haha, that’s kinda every day
Joyce
everyday, sorta like national beer-o’clock day.
Also, just got the news Robbie Ray headed to the IL…(just because the fantasy gods can’t let me have nice things)
Who you cutting to make room?
Hunter Harvey (hurting for saves )
Matt McLain (is he even gonna come back this season)
Thanks again!
McLain
thanks as always.
Last note; I know it’s just from “sleeping wrong”, but you preemptively grabbing Trevor Megill in case Devin Williams misses time?
If desperate, sure
desperation is relative… lol
Ha, true
Need a batty call while Doyle is out. H2H,ros, CSA, Ramos, Crews, Jhonk. Would you drop Doyle for your pick? Thanks
Ramos
Doyle has leg soreness not an injury AFAIK.
@Grey: weekly roto redraft. would you trade fitz straight up for either webb or framber?
Yes, either
Ober or Framber for September run?
Framber is the best SP in baseball for the last month https://razzball.com/mlbpitchingstats-last30days/
drop toglia for pca? thanks grey
If you need SBs
Devin Williams is DTD because he ” slept on his shoulder wrong.” Managers are getting creative!
Haha
Stolen from Bregman! BS!
Hey Grey! Semifinal this week, 10 team 5×5 h2h, daily moves league with cap of 4 moves (I’ve used 1). Keep 4 at rd value.
I have 1/5 bench slots used for hitters right now and trying to max starts with good matchups. (Ober didn’t help.)
Have J Jones coming off IL today, who is the drop?
Hitter options: Wyatt (rd 8 keeper/if drop is a rd 11 FA keeper), Adolis (rd 2 for me)
Pitcher options: Ober (starting Sun vs TOR), Cortes (sun start @StL), Schwellenbach (today start @MIN)
Been leaning toward cutting Cortes then trying to get him back later in the week. Also getting annoyed with those OFs but dunno if I can give up the keeper value. Thanks for your help
Ober
Hey Grey,
Would you drop Lawrence Butler for PCA? And would you take Norby over either of those? This is a 12 team keeper Roto league, where you can keep 5 players (all 3 of those would be eligible, not saying I’d necessarily keep any of them though lol)
Yes
HeyHey!!!!
Got all bad streaming options today. I agree with you that bot’s missing the mark on Manaea in Zona, but do you think it’s also loopy on Gavin Williams v KC 14.2? I haven’t streamed him in a while, but it seems like he’s either throwing a shutout or getting tattooed. I’m scared.
lurrrrrvarooooo
I wouldn’t touch Gavin
Lurves!
Yeah. Kryptonite.
B Lowe, Wallner, or Perdomo as a bench bat ROS?
Wallner
What’s up Grey
Couple things. First, ESPN introduced a new feature on the team page called “quick lineup.” I assume they threw this in there for baseball as a test run before football. Basically it takes your starters who are benched and puts them in so you don’t have to do them individually. Guy in my league claims he used it yesterday and ESPN took Berrios out, who had a QS on his bench. Ouch!
12 team with OBP and TBs. Colt Keith over India or hold? India still solid for OBP but has gone cold otherwise
That sounds like a bad feature! Haha
I’d try Keith
Morning Grey!
What are we doing with J Rod? Bench UFN? He’s an albatross, but if I drop him, he’s a league winner. Pete Crow Armstrong, Jacob Young, Parker Meadows are all outperforming him and available. Talk me off the ledge please.
Thanks!
– IANASM
Just now reading that he’s your sell from Friday…
He sucky
I’m slowly accepting my fate here… would you drop for any of those? Or just bench him and smile through the pain? 12 team mixed league.
disregard. You answered below. Thanks G. Let’s hope for a strong finish.
No problem
Yeah, sadly
Grey
Would you drop Busch for
Norby or Parker Meadows
Meadows
Position doesn’t matter to me and the Cubs have a better upcoming schedule. Would you drop Tovar (who seems to be dealing with some type of sports hernia now) for PCA?
Yes
Hey Grey,
Does Josh Bell lose PT with Walker coming back soon?
Tork or Bell the rest of the way?
Yes
Prolly still go Bell until we see how he’s used
The CVS employee bit was comedy haha HOF. And true.
Haha
(1) Josh Naylor vs Casas 2025? I’m looking at assessing keepers and now questioning Josh. If Josh, is it close?
Casas
Pls rank: Kikuchi, Cortes, Bido
you did
In the Jazz blurb, you said Florida has it’s issues? Did you mean New York?
no, I meant Florida
I think he is saying Boone should have known Jazz better from his Florida time.
yup
Thank you. I was confused.
12 team h2h categories with R, HR, RBI, SB, Avg, OBP:
Drop Cowser for PCA? Or hold.
Yes, drop
Good morning Grey how would you rank these available SP Ros QS Roto league. Kershaw, Cortez, Stone, Eovaldi, Kikuchi, Pepiot, and Verlander. Thanks
Kikuchi, Pepiot, Cortes, Stone
Come on Logan O’Floppe… just four more weeks… you can do it!!
Haha
Part two question. Same format and championship week.
Tork or Vinnie P
Tork
In championship game in h2h 12t category. R. Lewis has been some what cool. Colt Keith has been some what hot. Keith has a better schedule for the week.
Would you go with Colt vs Lewis? Keith has Cueto & Canning for next two days
Lewis has Shelly and Sale.
Keith
I really need QSs. I have ERod pitching today @ home vs the Mets. He has yet to go 6 innings. Manaea is available pitching against Erod. He has gone 6 innings 7 of his last 10 outings with all 7 being QSs. Would you roll with Erod or I could drop Erod or Parker Meadows and grab Manaea.
Thoughts?
Lose Meadows for Manaea
You starting both ERod and Manaea against each other at Arizona?
Sounds bad for Manaea
Bot actually likes Manaea slightly better 3.3 to 2.6, and I was going to ask if you’d stream SM but it seems like the answer is no.
Interesting…surprised by bot there…Meh, DBags have been hot, I wouldn’t mess with them
Who is the drop out of Soler, Kerry Carp, and Josh Jung?
Soler
Thanks!
No problem
The Astros said Tucker would be back the first week of Sept. However, they did not specify which year.
HA!
Gleyber Torres or Whit Merrifield in an obp league
Gleyber
Lost Wilson Contreras in NL Only – should I pick up one of the other two Cardinal catchers or Henry Davis? You’d think the Pirates would give Davis a bulk of the starts to see what they have (now that they are out of playoff race). But the Cardinal rookie catchers have been decent. Any one stand out to you for a pickup? Thanks Grey!
Meh, I’d try Davis
Cubs catcher Amaya been hot
Grey!!!
Amazing!!
a. Dropped Adolis finally, someone’s picked him up already! Pray for me.
b. Of the players I drafted only have 7 still on my team. It’s been a tough year, always next year. Still gunning for at least 5th or better realistically in my league.
c. Special Norm MacDonald (RIP) quote of the day for August 27, 2024

Cheers,

Late start today for you! B. I hear that C. Hahaha
Somewhere out there is a guy with a stacked keeper team that started the year with Acuna, Julio and Kyle Tucker…
Crazy how baseball finds a way
It’s Ober now, drink your big black cow and get out of here….
HA!
Thanks for the great work Grey!
16-team weekly points league…redraft
Big Xmas, Loperfido or PCA?
Thanks again
needs? I’m guessing PCA
We have a minor league roster of three players that we can bring up for last round picks next year. I currently have Wood, Rafaela and Baz. Would you drop any of them for PCA?
Baz
Hello Good People at razzball! Thoughts appreciated who you got for best production ros at 2b between Gleybar, Lux, or Keith? Tia
Gleyber
Oh great Grey,
based on these match-ups how do you rank these guys for a pts league?
Bibee @KC; @Chw; TB
Kirby @Oak; SD; TX
Lopez @TB; @LAA; CIN
Rodon @TX: KC; BOS
Lopez, Kirby, Bibee
Julio Rodriguez………..drop for PCA? Or drop him for Perdomo, Norby, Arozarena, Clement, Swanson? Drop for a cup of coffee and a bagel?
Thoughts on Robbie Ray? Injury severity not announced that I have seen. Drop for Arighetti pitching tomorrow? Or drop Ray for Estes or Herz?
Thanks!
Yes, PCA
Go with Arrighetti
Kyle Tucker, just shut his sorry boo boo bruised shin down for the season! Sick of reading blurbs about how useless he is and how his boo boo is stopping him from playing.
Thanks tucker, you sack of shit for costing me a chance at a title!
Haha
Imagine how much time he’d miss if he got stung by a bee.
12 team h/h points redraft…Weekly lineup set
are any of these FA SPers worth a add ?
Crochet
Lively
Stroman
Waldron
Arrighetti
Albert Suarez
B Francis
And drop any of these
Ray
Ragans
Gray Rod
Joe Ryan
Ray, GrayRod, Ryan for Lively, Arrighetti and Bowden
Hey Grey,
Great write up!
I’m in 2 leagues where I’m considering PCA..
1) League 1: 10 team, h2h, redraft, OBP.. currently in first round of playoffs:
Do you drop toglia (full week in coors) or Tyler O’Neill for PCA, or hold?
2) League 2: 12 team, roto, redraft, OBP.. one month left of roto and I’m in 2nd
Do you drop Julio Rodriguez, friedl, or JD Martinez for PCA or hold?
Thank you!
Thanks! 1. O’Neill 2. JDM
If I may let’s talk about someone that really went south and might be hiding an injury……
George Kirby in a h/h points league had a total of 26 pts since 7/31/24
just part of my SPing that fell apart
Kirby
Ray
Ragins
Gray Rod
Joe Ryan
Yeah, could be
If I may……I’m thinking not having Jazz batting 1st in batting order has something to do with Boones Rigthy…Lefty throughout the lineup
Meh, it’s not like Judge and Soto have splits
S Gray, Houck, Fried, or Reynaldo ros in standard roto?
Lopez
Bailey Ober – WTF
Seriously
I’m stuck on 9 Ginkels(2/3 IP 4ER or more- 1 and 1/3 with 8 runs is a double Gink, 2 IP with 12 ER’s would be the ever so rare Triple Ginkel!)…I thought Ober had a chance for ANOTHER double, or even a triple! But alas…not a Ginkel at all. Sometimes, when the Glory Train has left the station, it’s time to cheer for outrageous things; like triple Ginkels. No quesion here, just fear and loathing in Bemidji, MN.
HAHA, brutal
12 team, 5×5 roto. 1250 Max IP. 198 Innings Remaining (+37).
Lots of streamers available so I don’t need to push anything. You trust these guys enough to start here?
Tobias Myers v. SF ($15)
Heaney @ CWS (-$10.8)
Surprised to see Heaney so low on SON.
I’d start both

Nice!
Torkelson has been a huge disappointment no doubt. But tbf to him, the best case scenario is at least the 31 homers he smacked last year, which is pretty good. Maybe he ends up below average. But he’s still fairly young, 35-40 homers is there if it all clicks
30 HRs, .230, no speed is pretty whatever
for fantasy, at least…for real baseball, it’s fine
