Why wait until 2027 to make terrible 2027 fantasy baseball decisions? Grey and B_Don are already looking ahead with a two-person, twenty-player mock draft. We’ll be battling it out for the first 20 picks of the 2027 fantasy baseball season, in October. Nothing says “healthy offseason activity” like drafting players for a season that is still months (and maybe a couple more months on top of it) away.
With only two teams, every pick is magnified, every reach is immediately mocked, and there’s nowhere to hide when your draft partner starts taking the guys you wanted. Who goes 1.01? Which players are already being overdrafted? Will there be snipes in a 2 person mock draft? How quickly will we regret certain picks?
It’s 20 picks of early 2027 draft strategy, questionable valuations, arguments over who belongs at the top and the kind of overconfidence that will make absolutely no sense once Spring (or summer) Training starts. So grab your imaginary draft room, ignore everything we said last year, and let’s start preparing for the next season way too early.
