Spring Training is in full swing, drafts are underway, and the 2026 fantasy baseball season is almost here. That means it’s time to put some stakes in the ground that will either age like fine wine or haunt me until next season… These are my ten bold predictions for the upcoming season, ranging from bounce-backs, […]

Early into the offseason Tom Tango brought up the idea of the bayesian strikezone, where the quote “strike zone” exists on three levels; The actual rulebook strike zone, what the umpire calls, and the implied strike zone based on what the batter offers at. The third only exists in theory, since every batter would have […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Good day, everyone.
Today’s post is simple – an all-in-one cheat sheet of the 400 players I have ranked. As the weeks have passed, some of the players ranked have been suspended, injured or traded, which obviously either helps or hurts their value. But that just means you can remove them from the rankings yourself or make whatever adjustments you need to make. I’m going to leave them where I ranked them earlier.
Additionally, the little blurbs about each player (or mostly each player) are not going to be found here. For those awesome nuggets of wisdom, you can go to the individual rankings I produced.
With that said, enjoy the entire rankings.
Please, blog, may I have some more?Good day, friends, and what’s the 500/300 Club, you ask? Well, it’s a club I just made up, as we hit mid-March and draft season is busier than ever. In these final weeks of the pre-season, we’ll continue to take a look at recent ADP and see if we can keep finding ways to use […]
Please, blog, may I have some more? What’s poppin’, Razzpimples? We’re into mid-March now, inching ever closer to the start of the 2026 fantasy baseball season. It’s an exciting time of year, what with the World Baseball Classic in full force and March Madness also right around the corner. We’re not far removed from American hockey dominance at the Olympics, and we […]
Please, blog, may I have some more? This Sunday I take part in the Tout Wars draft. Wish me luck! I’m kidding. I don’t need luck. I need someone else to draft my team for me. Oh, I know, the Fantasy Baseball War Room! So, do you not know the Fantasy Baseball War Room? Well, you should. It’s the most important fantasy baseball […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Few things in this simulation are linear – lasers, time, SAT answers, and the display of an EKG machine at death. But time isn’t truly linear due to Daylight Savings, although time is a man-made construct. Aiya. My head hurts. In baseball, from 1990 to 2004, Barry Bonds is likely the closest thing we fantasy […]
Please, blog, may I have some more? The Tout Wars Draft & Hold comes to its dramatic conclusion (part 1 & part 2). Here’s the second half of my draft grouped into buckets. Always More Pitching – Pound pitching every other round when you can. This group leaves me with little depth out of the gate, I’m afraid *gulps in spring training*. […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Even with all of the (espresso-fueled) energy of the World Baseball Classic this week, we can’t forget there are still meaningful Spring Training games and position battles happening. In many ways, these games happening on small Spring Training fields across Florida and Arizona are much more meaningful for what we need to know this season. […]

Please, blog, may I have some more? While the 2nd basemen to target is a necessary evil like changing your underwear. This post, well, have you seen the top 20 shortstops for 2026 fantasy baseball? Dude, why did you not draft one of the glorious top top TOP guys? Did you show up late to your draft because they required you to […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Pirates SS Yordany De Los Santos has been living in the present and making the most of his limited opportunities with Pittsburgh this preseason, popping three home runs in just 11 plate appearances, good for a 394 wRC+. Prior to spring training, he had played just two games above Low-A and slashed .249/.311/.388 in 116 games there last year, but he was 20 years old posting an average (95 wRC+) against older players (+1 years on average) in full-season ball, so I’m looking past the slash line a little bit and gazing longingly at his 51 stolen bases in 65 attempts. That’s a 78 percent success rate, which ain’t great but isn’t the kind of red flag that would stop a youngster from running. He looks bigger this year than his listed 6’1” 170 pounds, and while a reality beyond their listed size is true of just about every international signing, De Los Santos looks like a major leaguer, physically, when glanced through my admittedly large television screen. At 21 years old, he’s ripe for a statistical breakthrough playing in a hitter-friendly home park for High-A Greensboro. If that materializes, he’ll be headed to Double-A by midseason. Won’t turn 22 until February 17 of next year. There’s a lot to like here.
