This winter I spent two months in “How to Spell Misiorowski” class for beginners and my family said I was dumb for wasting my time. Well, how dum am I now?! Dum is with a B? Hmm, well, I didn’t take that class, did I, you dop! Dop has an E? I prolly should’ve spread […]

Happy week 12, everyone. We’re into June now, and it’s officially summer. That means it’s officially dog days. We’ve completed eleven weeks, 40% of the season, creeping up on the halfway point. This is when teams in the cellar turn toward football prep and leave those hardcore baseball heads among us to pick away at […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Afternoon Razzballeroos! Welcome to your brief weekly interlude into the world of stolen base prospecting. It is not as profitable as prospecting for gold, new business opportunities, or a third wife, but hey, it doesn’t cost as much as finding that third wife either! EDITOR’S NOTE: Unfortunately, Knoche submitted this piece early Monday, right after […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?As we chug towards the halfway mark of the season later this month, let’s take a step back and check out who’s hot and who’s not. The “Not” guys really don’t merit much action, I just thought it was worth noting their overall good stat lines don’t tell the whole story. This also isn’t at […]
Please, blog, may I have some more? One method for breaking down a slate is to look at each game in the DK app and pinpoint the SPs and offense you want to target. Here are some “first glance” thoughts. TB at BOS: Giolito is generally worse vs. RHBs who get a big park upgrade at Fenway, but TB will roster 6 […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Plenty of prospects left in the minors for too long sometimes, and sometimes Grey gets left at home for the NBA Finals. This week on the Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast, we talk about prospects that are heading up to the majors starting with the #1 prospect in baseball, Roman Anthony of the Red Sox. The […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Roman Anthony was called up. [running into a room, screaming, sweating, out of breath, snot flying out of nose, mumbling to self, “Keep cool! Keep cool!” turning to a mirror, “How can I keep freakin’ cool? How?!”] He hit a home run last week that went 497 feet. [starting to lose cool again] Did you […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Happy Monday, Razzball faithful! I teased this a bit last week, but, as anticipated, things have been full out chaotic in MarmoLand for the past 7 days. Between coaching U13 soccer games, (or football to those of you who are from across the pond), two separate U13 and U10 baseball teams, a school Junior 3-pitch […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Razzfolks! It’s a lovely championship weekend — not only the NBA and NHL, but also the Tetris World Championships! You know what I’m most excited for? No long bar droughts! Also SGA to whoop the Pacers, and for Canada to bring the Stanley Cup home. Meanwhile over here in baseball land, we’re still a month before the All-Star break, and honestly, it feels like the doldrums of the season. The freshness of April has passed. The trade market hasn’t warmed up yet. And yet, we’ve still got some hot players to add to your struggling teams. Let’s check them out!
Please, blog, may I have some more?George Kirby (7 IP, 2 ER, 2 hits, zero walks, 14 Ks, ERA at 6.53) and okay. I mean, ha, okay. Where the eff has that been? I’ll tell you where it seemed to come from yesterday. Angels had a brilliant game plan. I watched a piece of this game and the Angels decided not […]
Please, blog, may I have some more? There are a number of teams that, as of early Sunday morning, haven’t announced early-week starters. The list below reflects the assumption that they won’t do anything weird or unexpected, and guys will take their turns in order. This week is a list that is light at the very top, but fairly decent for options […]
Please, blog, may I have some more? We’re roughly 100 games from the finish line of the 2025 baseball season. If you’re still reading articles like this, congratulations you’ve stayed competitive. But success so far doesn’t guarantee smooth sailing ahead. Now is the time to reassess, get honest about your roster, and make strategic moves to stay ahead of the curve. This week, we’re spotlighting two players who’ve returned solid value but may be standing on shakier ground than their stats suggest. These are the names to consider selling high, ideal trade bait to patch up that glaring weakness in your lineup. As Yogi Berra once said, “If you don’t know where you’re going, you might end up someplace else.” Let’s make sure that someplace is the playoffs.
