Kyle Gibson, SP: $7,200. His recent starts are all over the place. He’s pitching in a hitter’s ballpark. Yes. But, there are a lot of strikeouts to be had, and not a lot of run production to fear (they rank second to last in team ISO this season) when facing this White Sox lineup. Gibson should be able to take advantage here and is our top value of the slate today.

Chris Archer, SP: $8,400. Archer has been the model of consistency this season, with no starts under 20 or over 45 points in his last ten. Very average. And he is pitching today in New York against a very average Mets team. So we should safely expect average to slightly above average results. Archer is the safest cash game or 50/50 play today.

Trevor Bauer, SP: $11,100. Bauer has been dominant of late, and he is going against a Royals team that is just not scary at all. Look for him to improve upon his last outing in KC – on July 2nd when he recorded 6 strikeouts and 27 points – in a big way. Bauer has the highest upside on the slate today, so he should be owned in a decent chunk of our lineups.

Chicago Cubs – The values are there for the Cubs today in Milwaukee, though they face Davies who, while coming off one of his worst starts of the season, has only given up a single earned run over 12 innings this season vs. the Cubs. This lineup has a great deal of potential, and we’re looking for them to actually score some runs against Davies this time around. Order of preference: Kyle Schwarber, OF: $3,200, Robel Garcia, 3B: $3,000, Javier Baez, SS: $4,100, Kris Bryant, 3B: $4,200, Anthony Rizzo, C/1B: $4,100, Jason Heyward, OF: $2,700

Cincinnati Reds – The conditions look great for hitting today in Cincinnati, and they face a Colorado rookie who sports a 5.93 ERA and 1.46 WHIP through 8 starts. So, we stack. Order of preference: Yasiel Puig, OF: $3,300, Eugenio Suarez, 3B: $3,700, Nick Senzel, OF: $3,400, Jesse Winker, OF: $2,800, Jose Peraza, 2B: $2,400, Josh VanMeter, OF: $2,500, Joey Votto, C/1B: $3,300
