So, that’s why they got rid of Zac Veen? Oh, you know I’m on that bullshit still. You know I am! How do you not know this by now? This is what I do! Complain about the Rockies! Jordan Beck had a three-homer day yesterday, going 4-for-7 with 5 RBIs as the Rockies were swept and have the worst record in baseball. Worse than the White Sux! Take that Colorado Suckies! Also, in this doubleheader, Hunter Goodman went 2-for-8, 3 RBIs with his 4th homer. Goodman is the 1st time I had an inclination about a Rockies player having some value in the preseason and Bud Black didn’t immediately kill that value. I don’t say this as an exaggeration. There’s no superlative here. That is just the truth. The Goodman’s truth, me and Hunter. Also, as the Suckies effin’ sucked, they threw out there Chase Dollander (4 2/3 IP, 5 ER, ERA at 7.91). His name sounds like Chase Dreams, after he washes out, and reemerges in his 20’s as an influencer. Though, then it might be more like Chase Dollarer. So, do I suggest Jordan Beck? Should you grab him? Will he be in this afternoon’s Buy column? No, meh and zero chance. Anyway, here’s what else I saw yesterday in fantasy baseball:
Cole Ragans – 3 IP, 4 ER, ERA at 4.40, but left the game with groin tightness. Wish he gave me groin tightness. “This start was at home vs. the Suckies?” I say like a father whose son just broke up with Sydney Sweeney, “I’m not mad, I’m just disappointed.”
Michael Lorenzen – 6 IP, 1 ER, 9 baserunners, 7 Ks, ERA at 3.90. Nudging Ragans, emphatically pointing at Lorenzen’s start, gesticulating wildly. Lorenzen was a Streamonator call.
Vinnie Pasquantino – 1-for-8, 1 run, 1 RBI, hitting .181. After drafting Vinnie Pasketti, someone said to me something like, “Ooh, nice pick.” Yeah, what’s so effin’ nice about it? This guy couldn’t hit a meatball, and he’s the most Italian-sounding guy!
Jake Mangum – Hit the IL with a groin strain, i.e., Mangum hurt his Mangun.
Christopher Morel – 2-for-5, 3 RBIs and his 3rd homer, 2nd homer in two games, hitting .268. It’s still early, he said a lot lately, but hitting near-.270 for Morel is quite the change of pace. Also, the back-to-back jacks mean hot bat.
Tim Tawa – 1-for-3 and his 4th homer. He won’t be in this afternoon’s Buy column but there is a case to be made he’s worth a pickup in deeper leagues. I do wonder where he goes when Ketel returns. He should play, but I doubt he will.
Corbin Burnes – 5 1/3 IP, 1 ER, 6 baserunners, 8 Ks, ERA at 4.05. Arguably the best he’s looked this season, and still looked kinda iffy — gave up two more unearned runs, only went 5 1/3, etc. (One says “etc.” when one wants it to seem like there’s more when there’s not.)
Tobias Myers – 4 IP, 2 ER, 8 baserunners (4 BBs), 2 Ks as he was activated from the IL. He looked pretty rusty yesterday, but I remember liking Tobias Myers, so I wanted to reacquaint myself with him. I opened his stats page, and his minor league career is longer than Minnie Minosa’s baseball career. He started playing in the minors in 2016, and he still doesn’t have a full MLB season! Like your sister at college, that’s pretty wild. Myers is an 8.2-8.6 K/9, 2.3-2.8 BB/9 guy, who will likely be a Streamonator call in 12-teamers and valuable in deeper leagues.
Landen Roupp – 3 2/3 IP, 4 ER, ERA at 4.91. I regret to inform his stats appear like he should be way better. What’s that, you don’t have an appearances category in your league? That’s fair, but I’d try to hold.
Mike Yastrzemski – 2-for-4, 2 runs, 2 RBIs and his 4th homer. They’re going to study my brain one day to see how I can spell Yastrzemski from memory, but don’t remember my wife’s phone number. “I’m sorry, Cougs, but could you make your phone number spell out Rzepczynski?”
Matt Chapman – 1-for-5, 2 RBIs and his 5th homer, hitting .227. He was the 1st person to homer off a 100+ MPH pitch this season. But basketball is difficult with a 7-foot-tall person putting a ball in a hoop by hopping. Look at Grey throwing shade like an umbrella!
Camilo Doval – 1 IP, 0 ER, ERA at 2.25 and his 5th save. Crazy how he went from “not even in the discussion for saves in March” to “by accounts the Giants closer” in April. Ryan Walker seems droppable in shallower leagues too. Doval will be in this afternoon’s Buy column, because of course, but why not grab him now?
CJ Abrams – 0-for-4, as he was activated from the IL. Kevin from ESPN’s Get Him In Your Lineup Department said, “Why is Salisbury Steak called that and not Gravy Burger?”
MacKenzie Gore – 6 IP, 2 ER, 5 baserunners, 8 Ks, ERA at 3.34. Was a tough-luck loser, but I have to say, watching him is exquisite. A joy to behold. He is dropping in some pitches that the hitters have no chance on.
Cade Povich – 6 2/3 IP, 1 ER, 5 baserunners, 5 Ks, ERA at 5.04. Ended up winning and looking decent, but Gore looked better. I’m just being real here. Povich was fine, would go on his show to announce my baby mama, but still don’t trust him.
Jacob deGrom – 5 1/3 IP, 2 ER, 6 hits, zero walks, 6 Ks, ERA at 3.33. So, we get “deGrom is not human, ermahgerd!!!” and he lasts for only 60 IP, or we get “deGrom is human, shrugs” and we get him for 110 IP.
Jonah Heim – 1-for-4 and his 4th homer. Kinda meh, but also kinda four times better than Gunnar Henderson.
Josh Jung – 1-for-4 and his 2nd homer, hitting .258. Am I talking about Jung right now to avoid talking about how the A’s platooned out Kurtz for Miguel Andujar? Haha, what makes you say that? Platoon was a different war movie than the one Kurtz was in, God damn it!
Kumar Rocker – Hit the IL with a shoulder impingement. Another impingement is Jack Leiter is returning and Rocker hasn’t been good.
Leody Taveras – 1-for-4 and his 1st homer, hitting .200, which is basically Ted Williams compared to Joc Pederson, who is now hitting .066, and hitting third! The actual freakin’ three hole with a .066 average.
Jack Suwinski – Optioned to the minors. You might Suwinski some, but you just Sulostski one.
Oneil Cruz – 2-for-5 and his 7th homer. It’s like he remembered why I loved him in 2023. Maybe he was still dealing with ankle stuff last year. Like what we saw with Corbin Carroll and how shoulder stuff in 2023 affected his 2024. Am I saying both of these to try to jinx them for this year? Naturally!
Matt Gorski – 1-for-4 as he hit his 1st homer in his 1st MLB at-bat, and as he was called up. He powered that one too. A no doubter, which makes sense in Anaheim, because that’s where No Doubt’s from. Pirates optioned down Suwinski, but have to have at least one guy who sounds like a Yinzer, so enter Gorski. He looks like he should’ve been up a while ago — he’s 27 and he went 23/15 last year in Triple-A. He can’t make consistent contact though, so he might be a KBO All-Star in 2029. I honestly don’t mind the flyer in deeper leagues to see if you catch lightning in the bottleski until Horwitz returns.
Carmen Mlodzinski – 5 IP, 3 ER, 6 baserunners, 4 Ks, ERA at 6.95. [into walkie talkie] “Hello, hey, so it seems like we actually have two Yinzers on the Pirates. Is that gonna be a problem? Over.”
Tyler Anderson – 6 IP, 3 ER, 6 hits, zero walks, 1 K, ERA at 2.60. Ks are overrated, but one K in six innings is a bit of cold soup on a warm day. Sure, it’ll cool you, but there’s no gazpacho truck playing Three Blind Mice riding down your block.
Logan O’Hoppe – 1-for-4, 2 RBIs and his 6th homer, hitting .282. Further proof catcher-scab itching is bad and leaves scars, I can’t forget I dropped O’Hoppe for Goodman the 1st week of the season.
Zach Neto – 3-for-4 and his 2nd homer. This reminded me of something, does Rengifo still play baseball or did he retire to raise chickrens and geeseifos?
Trent Grisham – Activated from the paternity list. Left one kid back with mom, so Grisham can return to being the daddy to opposing pitchers.
Bryan Woo – 6 IP, 2 ER, 4 baserunners, 8 Ks, ERA at 3.09. Woo, indeed. Or as Ric Flair would say, “Wooooooooooooooo!”
Garrett Crochet – 5 IP, 4 ER, 10 baserunners (5 BBs), 9 Ks, ERA at 1.95. Some days you’re sew good, some days you’re whatever Crochet did yesterday.
David Festa – Optioned to St. Paul. The Patron Saint of Nonalcoholic Beers.
Royce Lewis – Will begin a rehab assignment on Friday. That puts his next injury timetable at May 12th.
Willi Castro – Hit the IL with an oblique strain. It happened last week, but the Twins make moves like that guy in your league who treats his daily league team like a weekly league.
Chris Paddack – 5 IP, 2 ER, 9 baserunners (4 BBs), 5 Ks, ERA at 6.45, and this was vs. the White Sux. After that, Paddack isn’t even a Streamonator call for me.
Shane Smith – 5 IP, 0 ER, 5 baserunners, 7 Ks, ERA at 2.30. Saw his ERA, and I thought, “Welp, I guess I could roster a White Sux pitcher, even if I don’t want to. Let me just check his stats real quick.” Then I stuck my hand under my armpit and made farting noises. Feels like a lot this year there’s supposedly sexy young pitchers and they have very yawnstipating stats. Maybe it’s just Jobe and Smith.
Miguel Vargas – 1-for-3, 2 runs and his 1st homer, hitting .163. You think he’s hitting poorly? He’s basically Tony Gwynn compared to Luis Robert Jr., who is hitting .138. Real question: Has LouBob had a hit this year or did they just start him at .200 because they felt bad?
Lenyn Sosa – 1-for-4 and his 2nd homer. For his home run trot, Lenyn should pause before he crosses the plate and wait three hours, miming a line for bread.
THERE’S A NEW POST FOR FOLLOWUPS FOR ME
In a two catcher league who’s your drop between Jeffers, Goodman, and Francisco Alvarez?
Thanks!
Jeffers
Hi Grey,
Fair trade thoughts again: 5×5 OBP My DeGrom for Kwan. My Wheeler for Carrol. I have great pitching and my batters are ice cold.
Thanks for your help
I’d take Corbin, anyone would…Kwan deal seems fair
Any of these guys worth a stream in Colorado this weekend:
Goodman
Toglia
Beck
Moniak
Fraley
10 team but very deep rosters
Would have to cut someone like Chandler Simpson, pavin smith, perdomo, Agustin ramirez
Yes, Goodman and Beck over Perdomo and Smith
6 x 6 Dynasty $260 Salary Cap (OBP/SLG and QS/K-BB). This is not a trade that I need to make but I wanted to clear a roster spot for waiver wire addition. Here is my team:
C – Bart
C – Contreras (STL)
1B – Casas
2B – McLain
SS – Witt Jr.
3B – Chisholm
MI – Henderson
CI – Machado
OF – Tucker
OF – Chourio
OF – JRod
OF – LuBob
OF – Harris II
U – Ohtani
U – Wood
B – Trout

My offer is Sale ($13) and Harris II ($15) for Alvarez ($25). The trade analyzer hates it – says it is a significant win for the Sale/Harris side. What do you think?
I’d take Yordan
Thank you!
No problem
sorry I ramble sometimes, and make my questions convoluted. Can I ask in a proper way this time. who are the top 3 currently of Neolvi, Busch, Casas, Arranda, Westburg, Dylan Crews, T Oneal and Keaschall for OBP instead of avg
Casas, Crews, Busch
thanks!
Soy un perdedor
(checks fantasy standings, cries)
things are gonna change, i can feel it…
Everything changes month to month. Trade deadline things really get fed up.
Soy un perdedor
Yesterday i mentioned about closers. Is Doval over Justin Martinez and Chapman or hold.
Hold
El Jefe!!
Couple questions:
Are you gambling with Gallen or keeping him on the bench today until he can get back to form?Pitchers aren’t “bowing down” to Bowden so far like last season. I’m in a QS (instead of wins) ROTO league and would like to gain traction in that category and K’s. Replace Bowden with the following? Or hold?Mitch KellerBoydR. OlsonEduardo RodriguezSpringsLittellGracias, mi jefe!
BWWIII
I wouldn’t trust Gallen
Yeah.
The formatting isn’t working as I had my second question neatly framed with bullets and whatnot. Here it is again:
I’m in a QS (instead of wins) ROTO league and would like to gain traction in that category and K’s. Replace Bowden with the following? Or hold?
-Mitch Keller
-Boyd
-R. Olson
-Eduardo Rodriguez
-Springs
-Littell
Meh, prolly hold, ERod is interesting tho
Hi Grey,
In a ten team league, HR, Hld, era, whip, k/9, qs, and nsv, drop Rengifo or Adames for Dylan Moore?
Rengifo
Thanks, your the best!
No problem
I meant ten team league w R, HR, RBI, SB, K, OBP, SLG.
Can only start one
Jobe home vs Baltimore or
Ober at Cleveland
Jobe
Thanks for all your analysis and answering questions. I want to buy low on Westburg. Should I give up Kurtz for him, or is that too much? Auction keeper league with 1-year keepers and only 2 keepers per team. Kurtz would need to be kept for $10 and Westburg couldn’t be a keeper.
Sounds fine
Hey Grey,
In a saves only league, which one of of these relievers would you want for max saves ROS…..Cade Smith (Classe will eventually be the saves guy there no?), Vest (not the named closer….yet), or Trevor Megill (not a great team and dealing with some leg issues)?
Thanks!
Megill
I think I can infer from but which 3B would you pick up:
Durbin
J. Smith
Moore
Thanks as always
Works for me
Have several teams in various formats that are doing well (first place in my RCL debut – yahoo). I say that to tee up my most concerning roster below. In fourth place in a 12 teamer, H2H format. Beating bad teams but lost to two good teams. So not great. Pitching an issue. Is this a roster that needs more patience since I have several youngsters on it and underachievers so far (Vlad what is up?) or is it in need of a more major overhaul via a trade?
Ruiz
Vlad, Machado, N Lowe
Altuve, Lindor, Campbell
Tucker, Suzuki, Cast, Donovan, Scott
Util – Simpson or Kurtz
Yamamoto, Shota, Bibee, Eovaldi, Wes, Abbott,
Bautista, Iglesias, Estevez
IL Kirby
WW- Crone, Steer, Casas, Durbin, Cam Smith
Aranda,
Leiter, Libertore, Schmidt, ERod.
Also, level of concern for Suzuki’s health? Back today but leery of his wrist and history. He would be a good trade chip perhaps? If so about what level and position would you seek in return?
Thanks for indulging this lengthy post which is now longer due to the unnecessary “thank you”!
Roster seems ok…Concerned on Seiya, maybe a low-end #1 SP? Like King/Shota level…
Two offers so far but both want Machado involved for Burnes which is a No for me. Burnes seems risky as you pointed over many times. But there is always a worthy risk, yes? With my roster above, who would you risk for Burnes?
Simpson? Kurtz?
Helpful , thanks! He asked for Campbell instead.
No problem
Yo Grey, are you nervous about Seiya Suxuki and his wrist? He hasn’t been very good since his first non-IL IL stint and just missed another game. Would you be buying, holding, or selling?
Yes, hold or sell
I have him too and it sucks that he’s been DTD. But just noting he has hit two HRs in the five games since wrist thing started; and has a 100 MPH batted ball during that stretch, which is his third hardest hit ball all season.
* 100 MPH exit velocity
10 team 5×5 drop steer for wilmer flores or pavin smith?
Pavin
Hey Grey, 12 team redraft, who do you like better? G.Holmes @ Ari, Springs vs ChiSox or neither one?
Springs
Mervis or Hjersted?
Mervis
Would you trade PCA and Semien for Devers and Nico?
It’s a 12 team, head to head, 6 player keeper league? Currently, none of the players involved in above trade would be keepers for me. Nico and Devers would replace Semien and Westburg in my starting lineup. In the outfield (start 5), still have Tucker, Tatis, Carroll, Langford, Chourio and Acuna (when he returns). We have 2 utility slots; if I made the trade, Acuna and Westburg (maybe).
Sounds fair, I wouldn’t
Thanks, I didn’t have a good feeling on that one.
What about Tatis/PCA for Witt/Devers
Witt
because of the suck of Westburg and Casas I have Busch and Aranda at 1b and 2b… when do I swaps back to starting Westburg and Casas hahaha.
I also have 1 UT spot open for whoever doesn’t start at 1b or 2b…. ORRRR I could use Dylan Crews, Tyler Oneal – or pick up N Marte or Keaschall….
too few positions and so many options
Works for me now
Bench bat, position eligibility a plus.
Lux 2b/OF, Goodman c/ OF, Schanuel 1b
Goodman
Grey — Nolan Jones as an OutfieldToTarget. Do you say he’s a hold/wait-and-see? Or DOA/droppable? 16-team dynasty.
Droppable
Springs, Peterson or Gusto?
Peterson
How worried are you about a lingering knee issue with Xavier Edwards? Would you drop for Caleb Durbin or Otto Lopez?
Jackson Holliday also available
Worried, Durbin
Semien or Hoerner?
Nico
Thanks, Heaney looks good under the hood! Obviously, he is an injury risk (what pitcher isn’t). Do you consider him roster hold or streamer? I would be dropping Mize.
Hold
12 team redraft, been offered simpson for my pfaadt. Fair deal?
I’d take Pfaadt
Me too, what about pfaadt vs holliday?
Pfaadt
Rockies lose 130 games? I mean, they’re not even trying.
They suck so bad
If Beck isn’t a loser, why did you kill him, announcing early that he isn’t a buy? I did buy him for the weekend at Coors in a H2H.
Yeah, it’s prolly unfair…if he’s hot, and in Coors, why not
and thanks for reminding how great that song is.
Ha, No problem
when do I start seriously worrying about my first round pick Gunnar Henderson?
Two weeks ago
Sit any of these today?
Eovaldi @ SF
Senga @ Wsh
Lugo vs Hou
No
Standard league would you trade Kurtz for Rodon? Thank you
Sure
Campbell, keaschall, Garcia jr at 2b h2h roto. Thank you
Camp
Welcome to the Tragic Kingdom, Matt Gorski!
HAHA
Drop Ray for Nola?
No
Need saves – Doval or Kahlne?
Doval
Hey Grey!
10tm ESPN H2H
1) Arozarena vs MIA (Quantrill), vs MIA (Gillispie), vs MIA (Meyer)
2) Seiya vs PHI (Walker), vs PHI (Luzardo), vs PHI (Nola)
Who would YOU slot for this weekend? Thanks!
Seiya if he plays today
Seiya is in the lineup!
Nice
Points dynasty…Tork or Kurtz?
Kurtz
O’Hoppe or Agustin?
Logan
Will need to drop someone from IL when Ragans goes on it. Drop Bieber, Giolito or Arrighetti?
Giolito
Agree with Tim
What type of player would you drop to pick up Willy Adames, who was recently dropped in my keeper league? Holliday? Tyler O’Neill?
Holliday
Starting lib vs brewers?
Yes
Who’s the best reliever to pick up right now
Tinoco, faucher, king, slaten, garrett
Tinoco
Need to prioritize my weekly waivers.
(1) Grisham; Keaschell; Alec Thomas; Caleb Durbin; Spencer Steer; Josh Smith – rank as many as possible
(2) David Peterson; Andrew Abbott; Zac Gallen; Andrew Heaney – rank as many as possible
(3) Agustin Ramirez or Hunter Goodman
Thanks.
I know you were down on Devers, but in a keeper league, it would have been very hard to drop him, so he’s on my team. Putting the fact I wouldn’t have drafted him either aside, do you think the fact he’d DH’ing has anything to do with his start? The man goes 0 for 3 with 2 K’s and a walk every day. Do the RedSox at some point say we have to try to get this guy on track, move him back to 3rd or 1st and see if he hits? Some players are not meant to sit around all game and just hit 4 times, especially 28 year old “franchise” players. I think at some point it’s more important to exhaust all options, than to keep running out the best defensive lineup. What say you?
I don’t
Facing a roster crunch today with Pablo coming off DL. Redraft points, daily change rather thin home league. Carrying three hitters all serving same purpose for me – my second Util slot/day off position filler — I need to drop one —
PCA
Nick Kurtz
Austin Hays
Guys like Ward, Goldschmidt on waiver (it’s thin league). So this question is more about which of these three has the least upside? My gut says Hays.
follow your gut.
Agree with Homers
Drop Semien, Simpson, or Vientos for Kurtz?
Simpson if you don’t need SBs and need HRs
It’s marginal, but I think I might try rolling with Simpson. My worry with him is that he’s not a full-time player, but the speed upside is incredible. And notwithstanding the hype, Kurtz might have severe contact issues.
Cool
AHAHAHHAHAAHHAHAHHAHAHA I hope you saw/heard this
Ha! That’s good.
HA!
Kurtz in the lineup, chance to make a difference in a big spot(which is what they called him up for), and they pull him for Miguel Andujar, who proceeds to strike out after seeing four pitches.
I think I would be able to fully comprehend a woman, every minute intricacy, before I will EVER understand the “logic” of a major league baseball manager.
Let…the kid….swing.
Hopefully they learn from their mistakes
I saw Kurtz’s first AB vs deGrom and he was patient/selective and reason he struck out was because ump missed calls. Boy-oh-boy is Kurtz a big fella. His former Wake Forest team was there in the stands to cheer him on.
I was listening to that on the radio (Rangers fan AND Kurtz fan). Rangers home broadcaster took Kurtz to task for chatting with the ump about the 3rd strike call. Thing is, Kurtz was 100% correct- went back and watched it. It was a great AB, and that pitch WAS low. What I have seen I have liked, but watching what the Rangers did to Profar with the inconsistent playing time and yo-yoing him about makes me worry about what the A’s will do with Kurtz. I think he could be as awesome as everyone says, but he has to PLAY. It’s not rocket science.
Agreed.
Seriously
H to the H, G!
I’ve got a shortstop jam. Was intending to trade one of them, but Elly stays with me, Abrams went to IL, and Volpe has been a Nope. Abrams back now, so should I give up on Nope and drop him or keep hoping for him to get it together with a very crowded roster.
Luuuuuuuuurvskis!
I wouldn’t want to drop him, if I can avoid it…lurve
Crochet: It’s like these pitchers think they can coast through a bad team, and give them their Quad-A stuff.
Heliot Ramos or Lars Nootbar?
Yeah, maybe…Lars
Luis Robert is hitting .137 so far. W Sox have managed to destroy any trade value he had. Unreal.
Don’t you mean his lack of motivation and attempt to improve destroyed his own career? He still got that same lazy swing from years ago.
I thought it was the $40M contract for the next two years that destroyed his value. Why pay $20M
Truly incredible
“Phenomenal cosmic powers, itty-bitty living space.”
HAHA
Ohtani seems to be barely swinging with that left shoulder….like I said preseason he tried to come back too early from that surgery. It’s like he’s playing hurt.
Buy Beck Now!!! Grey gave the 3 no salute, which means the inverse rule, carry the 2, take the square root of Rockies going to rock, and Beck is an add in 12 to 15 teams. Book it, says the inverse Grey, or as I would like to say, Yerg!!!
That’s some dark Razzball hoodoo, Nate. But not sure that math fully checks out.
Math never checks out, only thing that does is Yerg. Grey going to start a column, Grey is Grey and Yerg is not. If Beck goes for 25 hrs and 280 avg. I’m not a Beck fan boy, but the hoodoo don’t voodoo if it ain’t haze grey and underway!
Haha
12 team dynasty 5×5 who do you value more Nick Kurtz or Agustin Ramirez…think of trading one for some pitching….thank you
Kurtz

Grey, SON doesn’t like Wesneski today but… against KC? Outside of Witt and maybe Garcia they are awful so far. We’re telling SON to take a hike and starting him, right?
I’d start Wes
Dude, check out Rockies rookie RP Zach Agnos’ mustache!!!!!!
Fantastic!
Hey Grey!
I think I have my streaming for today and the weekend picked and hopefully it carries me to the win, but this one is towards a returning MIL Woodruff.
Sounds like he’s one rehab from coming back to the show and I drafted him to obviously keep on my roster.
Question is, who am I considering to drop among these names to activate him when the time comes:
STL Fedde
ARI Merrill Kelly
ARI Pfaadt
SF Roupp
KC Wacha
DET Jobe
TB Baz
LAD Dustin May
DET Reese Olson
It’s 10 man, points league, weekly matchup
I’m leaving off a name like CLE Lively because he’s the latest streamer for Friday whose spot I carousel through the weekend.
So among the above names, if I had to, who is dropped to activate Woodruff?
I also have Bubba Chandler and Quinn Matthews waiting in the wings of the NA slots and Eury Perez in the IL
“Overkill (in pitching) is underrated”
May
Is it because of the six man rotation or is regression expected to come around?
You do have a lot of terrible pitchers to drop, so if you want to hold May’s upside that’s fine…lose Kelly
Happy Friyay Grey!
Have a great weekend!
you too!
Who was the last Rockie to hit 3 HRs in a double header away from Coors…..I am sure nobody.
Good question
This sounds like a job for SuperVin.
Grey,
Couple of pitcher questions. Can you give me order for
ROS
Thanks.
No problem
Hey Grey! Bichette on waivers in my OBP league. Add over Durbin, Pavin, Aranda? For two UT slots and one bench.
Or, add as SS in place of Gunnar? LOL. Just kidding. I hope.
Pavin
I took a stab at Beck. Three homers in six abs got my attention.
Probably nothing, but might as well try him over the weekend in case somethings is real or a ? ?.
May as well to see if he stays hot
Grey!!!!
Fantastic!!
a) From RCL9, with love!
Goodman
Soderstrom
Keaschall
Suarez
Wilson
A Ramirez
Durbin
OF Campbell, Carroll, Crews, Jul-Rod, Dominguez
UT Rooker
Bench Manzardo
IL Seager
SP Heaney, Buehler, Myers, Sasaki, Miller, Francis
RP Adam, Megill, Helsley, Tinoco, Vest
IL Snell, Lowder
First in hitting, 11th in pitching. Just added Heaney, Buehler, activated Myers. Drop any for streamers?
Irvin home (Mets) Senga
Abbott home (Rox) Freeland
b) Have a great weekend!!
c) Rodney Dangerfield quote of the day for April 25, 2025
What a childhood, my mother she never breastfed me. She always had a headache.
Cheers, Ante
You can stream Myers to Abbott B. You too!
Grey!
Indeed, Myers for Severino (SON likes 42.9, home against ChiSox). SON doesn’t like Abbott or Irvin and in SON we trust. Picked up Springs in that same league for tomorrow’s start again against the ChiSox.
Cheers,
Ante
I just picked up Severino, fwiw
Need to make room for Lopez coming off the IL:
Drop Heaney or Shane Smith?
Smith
After a thorough investigation, I have identified the primary cause of Gunnar Henderson’s subpar performance…
This is fantastic
HAHA
Hosmer owns a 55% career gb rate. It peaked at 60.4%. GH is now at 57% this year. He’s in elite suckitude territory.
Ugh
I pinged you once before about Neto vs Adames. I have both on my roster. Want to drop one for roster flexibility, closer spec, etc., but I can’t bring myself to do it. Not yet.
We pretty much know Adames won’t run as much with the Giants. Aren’t his 88 + mph EVs gonna take their toll on his power, as well, in cavernous, Marine layered Oracle Park?
I can’t get a bag of balls for Adames in my league at present, despite three managers who are smart SFG fans.
Still hold on both these players, hoping maybe for a revival of trade value? I promise this is my last Neto/Adames question. Thanks, Grey.
I’d hold Neto for sure…Adames is meh, shouldn’t have drafted him, whether you can hold is up to your roster, I don’t know can you hold him?
With 22-man rosters, I can hold at the cost of failing to help other areas, like speculating on closers (saves cat VERY competitive); streaming to help underperforming SPs like Valdez and Bibee; helping other SPs to avoid tough starts (e.g., Luzardo @ Cubs tomorrow).
What’s ur gut, hold or wait for revival and possible trade? Many, many thanks, and have a great weekend.
How deep is this league? # of teams
12 team standard 5 x 5
Hold for now
Thank you, sir
No problem
