On behalf of everybody at Razzball, Happy Fathers Day to all of the fathers out there!  We’re closing in on the halfway point of the season and the Large Father himself, David Ortiz, comes in at #12 overall in our Player Rater.  Would I be looking to sell high?  The correct answer is it probably doesn’t matter.  Odds are you won’t be able to because he’s a DH only who is 40 years old.  The good news is that you more than likely got him pretty late in your draft and he’s giving you incredible value.  While I don’t expect him to hit 40 bombs, he should still contribute plenty down the stretch so feel free to ride him out on his retirement tour.  Let’s take a look at everything that has been posted on Razzball over the last week:

Grey and Dan Pants took their usual roles in posting Daily Notes.  Injuries took the forefront with some closers and J.D. Martinez hitting the disabled list.

Smokey’s SAGNOF Report also looks at those closer situation and also gives some low owned options for the steals side of SAGNOF.

M@’s Top 100 Hitters looks at Jayson Werth‘s hot streak and lets you know if there’s something there or if he’s simply a hot schomato.

J.B.’s Top 100 Pitchers focuses on Michael Fulmer who is currently hotter than a pistol.

The Razzball Podcast was strong this week with the usual banter between Grey and J.B. plus Ralph coming on to discuss prospects.

MattTruss gave us his weekly RCL Update with a look at the Master Standings along with the experts league.

Big Magoo’s One Man’s Trash looks at the rise of former top prospect Jurickson Profar and two pitchers who have come on strong of late.

Ramsey Bolton  Wil Myers is the subject of Son’s “No Whammies!” Buy / Sell post.  Looks like it’s going to be some battle tonight.

Malamoney’s post here is a great example of how you can make multiple trades in order to achieve your end goal.

Ralph updated his list for the Top 25 Prospects strictly for 2016.

The REL got a bit more interesting on the A.L. side of things this week; as J.B. indicates, the Canadian representatives are on the heels of Baltimore.

Cole Hamels is the focal point of Big Magoo’s Bear or Bull piece this week.

Malamoney looks at all of the top players so far this season in Points Leagues and the frustration that comes with head to head leagues.

Grey showed off his rapping skills to start off his Buy / Sell post; his time with Ralph on the podcast must have rubbed off on him.  Tim Anderson and many more are discussed.

Smokey ranked the closers for Week 11 in his Closer Report.

M@’s Two Start Pitchers keys in on Aaron Nola before looking at the whole bunch.

Ralph also took the time to give us plenty of updates on players around the farm, including Dan Vogelbach.  You can read that piece here.

THE WEEK AHEAD

While he hasn’t been great lately, Michael Pineda is showing some signs of life lately.  Streamonator is a big fan for next week having him ranked as the #10 overall pitcher despite having only one start, which is against the lowly Twins.  He’s available in over half of ESPN leagues so you know what to do.

Hittertron doesn’t have too many surprises this week; the most notable is Jean Segura coming in at 11th overall.  Also, Hittertron can’t give up its love affair with Mark Reynolds who is at 27.  The first name that really stood out to me is Brad Miller who is 37th.  He has a homer in each of the last two games and gets to go against Cleveland and Baltimore this week.  Miller has SS / OF eligibility and is only owned in 14% of leagues so he’ll make for a great option where available.

As always, there will be DraftKings articles every day and DFSBot is here to help with its projections.  Thankfully I’ll be able to start playing again soon now that the bill was passed in New York!

That’s all for now guys.  If you have any questions or comments, post them below and I’ll answer as soon as possible.  You can also find me on the hockey side of things at Razzball here (new post is up wrapping up the season).  Take care!
