We are back! Sorry about the shop being closed up for a week there, but it was an unfortunate necessity. We should be open for business the rest of the way to try and help you attain fantasy fame, glory, and riches. Know who won’t be helping you do that this week? The guys whose […]

Welcome to another round of the Top 100 Hitters for the rest of the 2025 fantasy baseball season. It’s been nearly a month since the last update, and with that time comes plenty of movement. In the gap between rankings, we were treated to one of the most entertaining All-Star breaks in years and are […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?My first article back from the break did a great job with the pitchers, but a disappointing performance from the hitters. That’s naturally the more likely outcome when examining streamers because it’s much easier to predict the arms than the bats. What makes it even easier is that we have some of the worst lineups […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Off the top, I want to point out how this draft and the one before it are great examples of why you should NOT tank in dynasty leagues. Last year’s class was so stacked, you could’ve landed Cam Smith with a pick at the end of round one, as happened in one of my leagues. This year, there’s not much of a difference between the top fifteen or so, and there’s no fast-moving monster among the college bats.
1. Mariners LHP Kade Anderson
2. Rockies SS Ethan Holliday
3. Marlins SS Avia Arquette
4. Reds SS Steele Hall
In a class without an obvious bat at the top, Kade Anderson in Seattle represents the best combination of proximity and upside. Easily the top pick in a league where quality pitching is at all hard to find. The shallower the league, the more I’d lean Holliday here.
Please, blog, may I have some more? With the rapidly adjusting rosters IRL and fantasy-wise due to trade deadlines, here’s to hoping this piece ages better than a gallon of milk left out next to the Jack Buck statue outside Busch Stadium yesterday… In the time of drafting this piece, both Ryan McMahon and Gregory Soto were moved, and things are only […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?I enjoy the internet’s daddy Pedro Pascal as much as anyone but there was an even more Fantastic Four happening Friday night and it was more cinematic than anything the MCU could dream up. The legend of Oakland Las Vegas Sacramento A’s first baseman Nick Kurtz continued as he hit a Fantastic Four home runs […]
Please, blog, may I have some more? The stretch run in fantasy baseball is here, and the difference in winning and losing a title may come down to a sneaky waiver wire addition or trade for a player that is not really a household name.
Drake Baldwin kind of fits that description. Despite being drafted in 2022, it wasn’t until this past offseason that Baldwin showed up on top 100 prospect lists. As the season has progressed, he has been steady at the plate and put up solid numbers.
Despite that fact, he is pretty much available to add to your team right now as he is rostered in only 10.5% of ESPN leagues and 20% of Yahoo leagues. That is just wrong. Catchers who can hit are a rare commodity. Add in the power he can produce, and it is a crime that he is not on more teams.
Let’s take a look at Baldwin and see why he should be on your team.
Please, blog, may I have some more?I know, I know, we’ve all been burnt by Brett Baty. But BUY BUY BUY, because being burnt by Baty by-the-by has been the breath of every balding BFF-slash-best buddy, but by the by let bygones be bygones rather than wave, Baty bye gone, bye gone like he’s not the belle of the ball so […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Hello friends! It’s the final week of July, and it’s starting to get a little nerve-wracking to see one’s fantasy team floundering in the standings. There’s still time for a surge in statistics if one can make the right moves, but as always in deep leagues, there may simply not be any moves to make […]
Please, blog, may I have some more? There are three important events in any fantasy sports season: 1. The draft 2. The trade deadline 3. The playoffs For many, the draft and the trade deadline are the only important periods. That’s because they didn’t even make the playoffs, rendering the event completely and utterly insignificant, if not a total depressing affair. Even […]
Please, blog, may I have some more? The SPs at the top of the pricing tiers are going to be popular tonight. Anyone from Logan Webb, Woo, Pivetta, Eovaldi, Imanaga and Gore gets a decent projection tonight. All of these pitchers are projected for 5.5-6.5 Ks tonight and 3.5 ERAs (Pivetta, Webb, Eovaldi, and Imanaga) or 4s (Woo, Gore). A case can […]
Please, blog, may I have some more? You know when Josh Naylor rocks the baby rounding the bases? It wasn’t rocking the baby all that time. Nope. This is like an M. Night twist. This is Wee Bey in The Wire GIF in disbelief. This is Keyzer Söze losing the limp. The whole time Naylor was playing charades for you to say […]
