Jurickson Profar was busted for PEDs once? Oops. Busted twice? You gotta be joking, who do you think you are, ARod? You’re not even a power hitter, what are you trying to do? C’mon, man! You seem legit like a dummy. I have no sympathy for Jurickson Profar, after having all the sympathy in the […]

It’s time for Part 3 of my OF rankings, as we go through players I have in slots 61 through 100. As I mentioned in the first part of this trilogy, I went Objective this year. I aggregated 4 projection systems for the stats, then converted them to auction values and ranked them accordingly. I […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Last week, we covered why you should join an RCL, so this week, let’s start covering what to do once you’re in there. To be honest, this has all been covered somewhere on the site over the years, most often by Rudy. If you haven’t been playing in RCLs though, I could see how some […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Spring Training is here and the hype trains are ready to leave the station! On this episode of the Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast, we dive into the sexy names of Spring Training that have been lighting up box scores and ask the real question: is this helium worth the brain cells lost? Konnor Griffin is […]
Please, blog, may I have some more? Here, friend, are some catchers that I will be targeting at my 2026 fantasy drafts after the top options are gone. I’m not going to get into the strategy of punting catchers. Been there, half-drunkenly wrote that during the Ottoman Empire. Click on the player’s name where applicable to read more and see their 2026 […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Happy Monday, Razzball faithful! Deep leaguers, rejoice! We’ve arrived at your favorite stop on the Preseason Starting Pitching whirlwind that is the Top 100 Starting Pitchers list tour! Last year, I titled this one “The Next Next 100 Or No Dessert Until You Finish Your Brandon Sproats.” This was where we peeked in on the […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Stop me if you’ve heard this before: Pitchers are going to get injured. It’s a fact (OK, maybe it doesn’t hold true 100% of the time, but you get the point). As humans, our bodies are capable of lifting an object over our heads, allowing us to unleash the object with velocity, spin, and direction, but that doesn’t mean our bodies like doing that action.
Please, blog, may I have some more?Hesitant to say any pitcher was overrated for reasons. One big reason is in my 2026 fantasy baseball rankings, where it has the starter rankings, it says pretty clearly which pitchers to avoid and which pitchers to draft, so by writing that you’d — I’d, at least — would hope that you’d understand which pitchers […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Coming onto Razzball and providing player rankings and comments on draft values feels like walking onto The Great British Baking Show and telling Paul Hollywood how to make bread and cake. (I want to say Grey would be Paul in this comparison, but I think the flair for eyewear opens it up for debate.) Regardless, […]
Please, blog, may I have some more? The first week of our rankings was about laying the foundation. The blue-chip anchors. The names that cost you real draft capital but give you category stability in return. Now we turn the page to week two of the Top 100 Hitters for 2026. This is where roster construction gets real. Power sources with batting average risk. Higher variability speed plays that can swing a standings column. Bankable veterans being drafted next to post-hype breakouts. The projections may look similar on the surface, but the paths to getting there couldn’t be more different. As always, this isn’t just a ranking of talent. It’s an evaluation of underlying skill and most importantly draft cost relative to production. We’re not chasing name value. We’re chasing leverage. The middle tiers win leagues. Miss here, and you spend all season patching holes. Nail this pocket of hitters, and you give yourself flexibility when the draft room starts reaching. Let’s keep building the board.
Please, blog, may I have some more?Pirates SS Konnor Griffin has been the early talk of spring training after blasting two moonshots in the same game followed by Pittsburgh leaking their desire to sign him long term. Translation: they know he should be part of the opening day lineup but would like to maximize whatever leverage they have here. We’ve seen this move a lot, and I get it. I actually think it makes sense for most young players to offer a year or two of free agency to make a ton of money earlier than they would’ve and have stable income across time. Decent money management is all you’d need for your whole family to live like royalty for a hundred years, minimum. Why quibble over the dollars beyond that? It’s a little different for a Pittsburgh player. Humans like to win, or at least compete.
Please, blog, may I have some more? There is typically more than meets the eye with pitching stats. Whether that be home run luck, defense, park factor, pitch mix, pitch tunnelling, etc., there is a lot that can alter a pitcher’s season year-over-year. Of course, for a pitcher to sustain consistent success, they have to be at a certain baseline of *good*, […]
