We’ve got some great value plays today based on Rudy’s Robots (Bot 2) so there’s plenty of opportunity to put together a great lineup with some “discount” pieces. The bot’s top pitcher (Dinelson Lamet, SP: $9,300) for not the top price is always a good thing. He’s been blowing people away with some great K numbers (45 in 33 and a third) and has kept the walks in check (11). Lamet is breaking out and unlike most years, the Padres actually seem to know how to hit. Unfortunately they haven’t given him much run support while he’s on the mound, but that’s only a matter of time. He’s set up to dominate for you today.

Dallas Keuchel, SP: $8,100 – A strong start combined plus a date against the worst offense in baseball equals a very solid play

Robbie Ray, SP: $7,200 – The bot’s #2 and even lower in price. He makes for a very compelling option for those of you looking to spend big on bats.

Anthony Rizzo, 1B: $3,100 – I’d say that once again Rizzo is quietly having another strong season. More RBIs would be nice, but at least scoring runs from the top of the order. Price wise he’s in a good spot, and should turn a profit based on the bot’s projection.

Josh Bell, 1B: $2,700 – Not the strongest numbers on the season but some positive regression is coming. You can afford to gamble that things will start to turn around today with where he’s priced.

Brandon Lowe, 2B: $3,800 – Strong season numbers at the plate and a recent hot streak have pushed him into the lineup on a regular basis. Take those homers to the bank and enjoy.

Wilmer Flores, 2B: $2,800 – He may play in the bay, but Flores has been on fire. He is absolutely tearing the cover off the ball with power and a high average. DFS is about riding the hot hand and right now, he’s bringing the sizzle.

Manny Machado, 3B: $3,700 – The Padres are scoring runs and Manny is right in the middle of it. He’s doing it all and my favorite part is that he’s running more (already 3 steals after only 5 last year). Take him for production across the board and rack up those points.

Alec Bohm, 3B: $2,700 – He popped the tater cherry so let the floodgates open. I guess you could say “Bohms away”

Javier Baez, SS: $3,300 – Fresh off clubbing two home runs in the same game, is he waking up? You better believe it.

Niko Goodrum, SS: $2,800 – Power and speed is what we’re after and as luck would have it, Goodrum’s got both.

Eddie Rosario, OF: $3,000 – Coming in atop the robot’s charts is Eddie Money. (Max Kepler – $3,200 is also up there, but he’s a little more expensive so we’ll go with Rosario.) The average is bound to climb and the power has been there. Now that’s Twinning.

Nick Solak, OF: $2,800 – Batting near the top of the order, as he has found himself due to injuries, is a pretty great spot to be. He’s having a fine season regardless of his position.

Kyle Schwarber, OF: $2,700 – Another top 10 bot pick who’s price certainly doesn’t reflect it. He’ll give you power and should chip in some RBIs from the middle of the order.

I’m Only Happy When It Rains

Some light rain in Toronto which is actually Buffalo because it’s a wacky year. Aside from that we’ve got a smattering of humidity and some clouds.

Doing Lines In Vegas

No wild lines today (gotta love those 11s). The highest line is 10 for Cubs v Tigers and the rest fall mostly at 8 or 9.
