Welcome into another Razzball DFS Thursday, the dust has settled from a wild trade deadline and guys are starting to get acclimated to their new homes. Some guys aren’t wasting any time showing off in a new uniform such as Abraham Toro, 3B: $2,500 – Seattle seems to agree with him, batting over .400 with 3 bombs. You love to see it, especially when he doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. He’ll have the chance to continue that run today in the Big Apple and if you can make it there you can make it anywhere.

Framber Valdez, SP: $9,700 – He has predator blood and that’s fueled his return to action. He’s been issuing a few too many free passes but still has the stuff to get the job done today. That makes him the bot’s number one today.
Sonny Gray, SP: $9,300 – Right behind Framber in the projections (and also in price), is Gray. No, not Grey, our illustrious fantasy leader. (the bot doesn’t list him in its projections for the day, must be an oversight) Anyhoo, back to Sonny. Coming out of the break he’s been up and down, but when he’s up he’s money. That’s the upside you want to chase.
Alex Wood, SP: $8,500 – Wood hasn’t been quite as dominant as he was early in the season, but he’s still managing to put up fantasy points. Today should be a good day as he’s in a prime spot to dominate against a weak offensive unit.
CJ Cron, C/1B: $3,800- You know the drill, Cron + Coors = big fantasy point potential. If that wasn’t enough to convince you, he also has the bot’s blessing as the top-rated first baseman.
Frank Schwindel, C/1B: $2,500 -Time to swing for the fences and take a chance on the guy getting an opportunity after the dust settled from the trade deadline. He’s in Coors and that can always mean good things. Zig when others zag and grab him.
Ian Happ 2B: $3,000 – The numbers are ugly but he has a spot in the batting order and we know he has some pop in his bat. That’ll play in Coors.
Wilmer Flores, 2B: $3,000 – Much like the rest of the Giants, Flores just keeps getting the job done. He has an attractive price and has the pop to deliver a solid return.
Austin Riley, 3B: $3,500 – I really like what he’s been doing since the break. He’s been mashing and fortunately for us, his price hasn’t quite gone to the moon. I’ll take that all day, every day.
Gleyber Torres, SS: $2,900 – His bat is finally starting to wake up and that’s music to my ears. The potential is finally starting to yield positive results in the fantasy points column. He’s been running more freely and the power is starting to show itself.
Didi Gregorius, SS: $2,600 – It’s been a bit of a rough season for him, but he has flashed recently with some strong games. He’s a top 10 option at short today and that’ll play.
Charlie Blackmon, OF: $3,400 – Blackmon isn’t the fantasy force he used to be, but he is still capable of putting up a big game for you. The bot says the odds are in your favor today so crack open a nice cold Coors.
Yordan Alvarez, OF: $3,700 – It’s a nice little run at the plate that he’s on which is a really good thing seeing as he’s a designated hitter. He makes for a fine option today in a matchup that shouldn’t scare you away.
Alex Dickerson, OF: $2,100 – He’s not always in the lineup, but you can afford to chance it at this price. He does have a couple very nice games in his last two starts so he’s got that going for him. The bot is a fan
I’m Only Happy When It Rains
Humidity, clouds, and heat. That’s your forecast for today, nothing that should impact the action too much.
