Welcome back to Fanduel DFS Tuesdays here at Razzball. We have an almost full slate (Indians @ Rays postponed due to tropical storm) and our top two arms (Jacob deGrom vs MIL & Carlos Rodon @ MIN) are in spots where rain is likely. If the situation changes, deGrom is the guy to own tonight, but we have to have other places to pivot if that game doesn’t go.

The wind is blowing out in Baltimore where the Blue Jays take on whoever the Orioles decide to throw out there. The Os face off against Steven Matz who could struggle in this environment, making Baltimore a sneaky stack. In the Windy City, the struggling Cubs take on the Phillies with the wind blowing out to center. The Phillies side of this matchup will be highly owned so keep that in mind. Aaron Nola could very well dominate, however, I’m staying away from him tonight and may even get myself a few low owned Cub stacks.

Good luck tonight, and remember to stay positive and visualize that bank roll spiking like Bitcoin in April. Visualize your success! You HAVE to believe it to be true before it can happen. Go with your gut and do it with confidence. Let’s go!

Starting Pitcher Targets

Jacob deGrom, SP: ($11,800) – Best pitcher in baseball and worth the price. The Brewers are a top 10 run producing team vs RHP since the start of June, but deGrom is not just any guy. The Mets SHOULD be able to put some runs up vs Anderson, so the win is in sight. The only concern here is possible rain throughout the game so monitor the radar and updates prior to lock.

Framber Valdez, SP: ($10,200) – The A’s are a below average team vs LHP since the start of June and we have to have a back up plan if deGrom gets rained out. Besides his first outing back from injury, Valdez is 6 for 6 in quality starts and has 40 or more Fanduel points in 4 of 6.

Merrill Kelly, SP: ($8,800) – He’s scored 43 Fanduel points each of his last 3 outings and gets the Rockies coming off a home stand. The Rockies are the worst offense in baseball vs righties away from Coors. Attacking Colorado in their first game after a home stand has worked in the past and I believe it’s a great spot to do so again.

First Base

Rhys Hoskins, C/1B: ($3,200) – Looks to be heating up and gets a flailing Cubs team in Wrigley with the wind blowing out to center. Arrieta gives up plenty of hard contact and if the ball is hit in the air today, good things are going to happen for the Phillies.

J.T. Realmuto, C/1B: ($3,000) – Same reasoning as Hoskins.

Nate Lowe, C/1B: ($2,600) – His ownership is going to be high but his price is very low and you may just want to eat the chalk here. Urena is a gas can waiting to explode.

Second Base

Marcus Semien, 2B (SS): ($4,100) – In Baltimore with the wind blowing out. Whoever the Orioles roll out today is in for quite a task.

Jake Cronenworth, 2B (1B): ($3,100) – He continues to hit 3rd in a great lineup. He gets on base and has power potential. Not sure who the Nats are going to throw today, but the fact they’re undecided should bode well for Jake and the Padres tonight.

Cavan Biggio, 2B (3B): ($2,700) – Same reasoning as Semien.

Third Base

Vladimir Guerrero Jr., 3B (1B): ($4,600) – It’ll be quite the task to fit him into any deGrom lineups but the Blue Jays are in a smash spot tonight regardless of who Baltimore throws. I know, this is a no brainer, but his ownership should be down below 10%.

Kris Bryant, 3B: ($3,500) – Nola has been lights out or pretty terrible his last 4 outings. Bryant will be extremely low owned in this high risk / high reward matchup in Wrigley.

Gio Urshela, 3B: ($2,800) – We have to think the Yanks can put up some runs vs Justus Sheffield. The Yankees righty heavy lineup matches up great vs Sheffield, who’s allowed a .317 average and 1.8 HR/9 vs righties, as well as a 40.2% hard hit rate.

Short Stop

Bo Bichette, SS: ($3,900) – Nothing needed here. I like the Blue Jays a ton as long as their ownership stays as low as it looks to be projected.

Didi Gregorius, SS: ($2,500) – Another guys whose ownership will be really high but his value in this spot is so good. Fading the Phillies might be a smart way to go tonight but a Gregorius one off allows you to go many different ways with the rest of your lineup.

Outfield

Joey Gallo, OF: ($4,200) – His price should keep his ownership down. He’s on one of his tears that makes your mouth water. A double dong is not out of the question by any means in this matchup.

Cedric Mullins, OF: ($3,400) – He’s crushing both righties and lefties and with so much attention going towards the other side of this game, I like a few Orioles as leverage plays tonight, Mullins being the fav.

Adolis Garcia, OF: ($3,200) – Smash spot and shouldn’t be too highly owned given the insane amount of places to go tonight.

High Ownership / High Value

Odubel Herrera, OF: ($2,500)

Aristides Aquino, OF: ($2,200)

Favorite Stacks : Blue Jays, Rangers, Reds, Orioles

I’m Only Happy When It Rains

Concerns:

Seems like rain is very likely throughout the White Sox / Twins game tonight in Minnesota, be sure to check the weather updates prior to lock.

Chances of rain look to be increasing in the Brewers @ Mets game so be sure it’s clear prior to locking deGrom in.

Targets:

Wind blowing out in Baltimore where it will be humid as the Blue Jays take on the Orioles.

Wind blowing out to center in the Phillies / Cubs game. These are the days Wrigley turns into a top hitters park. This makes Nola less appealing and a game stack viable.
