Giancarlo Stanton ($3,800) has been on an incredible tear over the last two weeks, batting .481 with six home runs. He now has a 12 game hitting streak and a 171 wRC+ on the season, as well as absurd 100th percentile marks in exit velocity and hard hit rate. This healthy iteration of Stanton looks completely unstoppable, and he has a fantastic matchup against lefty Patrick Corbin, who has an 8.10 ERA and a 2.70 HR/9 this year. Stanton is a must-have in cash lineups and has massive upside in tournaments.

Jack Flaherty, SP: $10,200 – Flaherty’s numbers are inflated from getting shelled on Opening Day, but he’s been nothing but elite since then. In his last five starts, Flaherty has 32 strikeouts in 30 innings with a 2.10 ERA. He has an awesome matchup against the lowly Rockies, who have just a .279 wOBA on the road with a 26.1% K-rate. Flaherty has the highest floor and ceiling combination of any starter on the slate, making him viable in all contests.

Charlie Morton, SP: $7,900 – Morton is super underpriced because of some bad results lately, but his underlying metrics suggest that he’s still the same guy. Morton has a 3.67 FIP and a 3.55 SIERA, as well as a 27.5% K-rate which all point to him being a strong buy-low candidate. He should bounce back against a Phillies lineup that is off to a dreadful start with a .286 wOBA and a 27.1% K-rate against right-handed pitching.

Max Muncy, 1B/2B: $3,300 – Muncy is having an interesting season with a .221 batting average but a .422 OBP and a 141 wRC+. He is in a great spot to drive in runs batting cleanup against Griffin Canning, owner of a 6.20 ERA.

Jose Altuve, 2B: $2,900 – While Altuve is off to a poor start, he is a strong value in this spot batting leadoff against Ross Stripling, who has a 5.95 ERA since the start of 2020. The Astros are one of the highest projected scoring teams on Friday, so getting their leadoff hitter at such a low price is a steal.

Josh Donaldson, 3B: $3,100 – Donaldson is another slow starter this season, but with an extremely low 12.9% K-rate I don’t see him struggling for much longer. He’s crushed lefties to the tune of a 157 wRC+ in his career and faces a weak one in Tarik Skubal, who has a 3.27 HR/9.

Carlos Correa, SS: $2,900 – Correa can be used as another cheap option in an Astros stack. He still has plenty of power upside with 30 home runs in his last 163 games.

Franmil Reyes, OF: $3,500 – Reyes is crushing the ball this year with 8 home runs and a .966 OPS. It’s tough to see him staying in this affordable price range for much longer.

Mitch Haniger, OF: $3,200 – Haniger is a nice cash game target batting leadoff for the Mariners with an .834 OPS. He has a high floor against Rangers starter Mike Foltynewicz, who has a 5.56 FIP.

I’m Only Happy When It Rains

There is rain expected in Red Sox-Orioles and Twins-Tigers, so keep an eye on these games around lock time.

Doing Lines In Vegas

I’m not sure that the Reds should be plus odds at +120 tonight, as they’ve been the best lineup in the league against righties with a .345 wOBA. Cleveland starter Zach Plesac hasn’t looked very good with just a 17.9% K-rate and a 4.24 SIERA.
