Back at some Fantasy Baseball DFS after a weekend talking pigskin in Vegas. My body doesn’t recover as fast as it used to so this article will be less of a deep dive than usual. Got home late on Sunday and have felt rough all day here on Monday as I am writing these picks, so if you have any questions please reach out.

I’ll be bringing you my DFS picks for the main evening slate on Tuesday, August 29th, 2023. If you play on DraftKings, it is a 12-game slate starting at 6:05 Central time. This article will be primarily focused on the DraftKings slate, so if you play on Fanduel I encourage you to sign up for the DFS tools to help you make the best decisions for your lineups on FanDuel, DraftKings, and Yahoo.

New to DFS?  You can start playing right now on FanDuel and put our picks to the test.  If you’re scared of feeling like a small fish in a big pond, be sure to read our content and subscribe to the DFS Bot for your daily baseball plays. Just remember to sign up through us before jumping into the fray, it helps support your Razzball team!

George Kirby, SP: $9,700. Kirby gets the Athletics in Seattle tonight. He’s been solid with his only real issue being giving up the long ball. Better than an 8 to 1 K/BB ratio is good right?

Cole Ragans, SP: $6,000. Ragans has things figured out as he has 23+ Point DFS Outings in four of his last five starts. This low of a price against the Pirates is criminal.

Mitch Garver, C: $3,800. Garver has been red hot with three home runs in his last five games. He’ll face a lefty in Jose Quintana so he should be in the lineup tonight against the Mets

Matt Olson, 1B: $6,900. This price is nuts, but the Braves are in Coors against Peter Lambert who has a 6.61 ERA at home this year.

Davis Schneider, 2B: $4,300. Schneider should be in the lineup on Tuesday against lefty Mackenzie Gore. He homered in both games he played over the weekend.

J.D. Davis, 3B: $3,500. Pretty good price for Davis here against a lefty in Brandon Williamson of the Reds. He has had a lengthy homerless streak that is due to be broken.

Gabriel Arias, SS: $2,100. Another good price for a guy who has homered three times in the last few weeks. He has a tough matchup in Minnesota with Pablo Lopez, but this price is too good.

Ronald Acuna Jr., OF: $7,000. Yes, I am getting Acuna in my lineups as well, and If I could figure out a way to have Austin Riley in there I would also do it, but alas all three at these prices isn’t possible. The other way to play this would be no Acuna and some form of combination with Harris, Ozuna, and Rosario. I actually like that better for tournaments.

Teoscar Hernandez, OF: $4,300. A nice match-up against Ken Waldichuk for Teoscar in Seattle.

Heliot Ramos, OF: He’s cheap and should be in the lineup vs a lefty.

I’m Only Happy When It Rains

Gusty winds blowing out in San Francisco. Rain chances are small at time of writing but could see a storm or two in Colorado, and everywhere on the east coast.

Doing Lines In Vegas

I did mention I do a bit of Sports Handicapping. Follow me on Twitter @TheGreatKnoche for more info. I’ll give out a Free Play here every Tuesday, but you can find all my free and premium picks for MLB and a few other sports at The Odds Breakers

Lots of big favorites on the board tonight, and I’m not crazy about anything so far. Lean Boston -120.
