Second to last DFS article of the year for me. It’s been a fun ride. Not my best year, however. On Mondays, my double-ups were 11-14. Not ideal for building a bankroll, but I trust the process as we’ve had plenty of profitable years in the past. Short write-up again this week due to limited time, feel free to ask me any questions in the comments. Let’s get to the news that’s fit to print and the players that haven’t changed their mindset to the golf course.
I’ll be bringing you my DFS picks for the main evening slate on Tuesday, September 27th, 2022. If you play on DraftKings, it is a 12-game slate starting at 6:05 Central time. This article will be primarily focused on the DraftKings slate, so if you play on Fanduel I encourage you to sign up for the DFS tools to help you make the best decisions for your lineups on FanDuel, DraftKings, and Yahoo.

Logan Webb, P: $7,200. Webb hasn’t been great, but I’m not sure how Webb is this cheap for the Triple AAA Rockies outside of Coors field. I’ll take it though. I would guess he’ll be in over 50% of lineups.
Carlos Carrasco, P: $9,300. Home Carrasco is over a run better in ERA than Road Carrasco. He’s home tonight. And he gets the Marlins. Sounds like a winning formula to me.
Sean Murphy, C: $4,200. Catchers suck. Murphy is the only option I even think I like, and I hate him at this price. He’s on a three-game doubles streak and seems to be seeing the ball good however and gets a nice lefty match-up against Patrick Sandoval tonight.
Anthony Rizzo, 1B: $5,100. Jose Berrios has an ERA well over 5 since August 1st and just got lit up by the Rays last time out. Rizzo only has 7 hits in his last ten contests, but four of them have left the yard. Look for the Yankees to light up Berrios tonight.
Gleyber Torres, 2B: $4,100. Torres is 21 for his last 57 with 3 Home Runs, 16 RBIs, 10 Runs and 2 Steals over his last 15 games. He’s hot and his price is still down.
David Bote, 3B: $2,300. Value play here on Bote vs Zach Wheeler and the Phillies. He’s hit safely in 7 of 10 with 2 Home Runs and 3 multi-hit efforts. He is also playing every day. Downside wind should be blowing in from left.
Brandon Crawford, SS: $3,400. It’s the Opposite here, where the wind will be blowing out. German Marquez opposed the Giants and he can’t get anyone out so hoping Crawford can get a hold of one.
Aaron Judge, OF: $6,200. Yup. Why wouldn’t you play him? Be careful though if he get past Maris anytime this week he won’t be in the lineup the next day.
Tyrone Taylor, OF: $2,100. He has 17 Home Runs. He is only $2,100. They are playing in Milwaukee with the roof closed. Seems like a hell of a value.
Mike Trout, OF: $6,100. Well, the last time I had Judge and Trout together in a lineup it didn’t cash. Tonight feels different.
I’m Only Happy When It Rains
Maybe some sprinkles in Cleveland and Detroit. Strong winds blowing, In from left in Chicago and Cleveland, Out to center in Detroit, Pittsburgh and San Fran, and across from left to right in Queens.
Doing Lines In Vegas
I did mention I do a bit of Sports Handicapping. Follow me on Twitter @TheGreat Knoche for more info. I’ll give out a Free Play here every Tuesday, but you can find all my free and premium picks for MLB and a few other sports at The Odds Breakers
I’m on St. Louis at -115 against Adrian Houser and the Brewers. Houser has been OK this month, but almost even money with the better lineup? I’ll take it.
