Mad Max Fury Road was a wildly loud, hard, smoking fastball that has everything in common with our Heterochromia Max that will be starting today against the Atlanta not so Braves.   Opening Day?  Check.  Nitromethane?  Check.  Mad Max?  Check.  Fire?  Check.  Blood?  Ehh, possibly.  I know J-Foh and I have some Nitro on tap, but if you’re only 3 for 5 don’t worry it’s baseball.  You’re hitting .600 like Polanco through the first game of the season and it’s OPENING DAY!  Welcome Razzballers to the first (technically the second) 2016 DraftKings Post!!  There’s not going to be a ton of analytics today because ummm, it’s the first day of the season, but I do have a few tricks up my sleeve that should pay off for you.  “You’ve got the best crew in the world standing in front of you, give them a reason to stay” Vin Diesel, Fast & Furious 6.  I’m sure you’re asking yourself right now, “Why is he quoting a Fast & Furious movie?”  Guilty pleasure, fo sho, but more importantly it’s a disclaimer to you, our DK readers.  Sky (the DFS mastermind behind the scenes) has put together an unbelievable All-Star team of daily experts that are going to spend EVERY DAY of the season throwing down some moneymaking knowledge on yo asses.   Sharpen your pencils or iPads and lets get to work.  We’re going to make it real simple for you, whether you’re a first timer or a seasoned veteran.   Read our analysis EVERY DAY, set your team and take everyone else’s money.   Sound Good?  Great, Let’s get started.

Max Scherzer, SP: $12,300 – He’s the second highest priced pitcher today, but I think the majority of peeps won’t be able to resist the Kershaw at San Diego matchup which will leave Mad Max under owned.  Sniff in those fumes and look for that Opening Day juice to motor Max through a weak offensive Braves team in a pitchers park.

Dallas Keuchel, SP: $9,000 – I had Dallas all queued up as my lead until my East Coast informant (Thanks Wilson), told me that they were expecting snow today.  If this game goes off I take Dallas ALL DAMN DIZZAY!  16ING/21 K’s and Zero ER against the Yanks last year.

Chris Sale, SP: $10,800 – He’s at a pitchers park too and nothing says Opening Day like Saling away on an early season 7-8k performance versus a underwhelming Oakland offense.

Raisel Igelsias, SP: $8,900 – I LOVE him today against Helickson and a weak Philly offense.  Hopefully the Young Buck doesn’t disappoint in his first Opening Day start.

A.J. Ellis, C: $2,300 – We’re all about the discount catchers here at Razzball.  Not much I like for the price, so hit the discount bin and save some cash money fo da real playaz.

Buster Posey, C: $4,700 – If you want to spend some dough on a catcher Posey is 6/11 vs Peralta and he’s in the launching pad AKA Miller Park.  Only problem is he’s 6/11 with 1RBI.  I’ll take Ellis for half the price.

Jose Abreu, 1B: $4,400 – I feel like Abreu is going to have a monster bounce back season.   Hawk is going to be busy this season with the “Put it on the board!” calls.

Mark Trumbo, 1B: $4,000 – I Love All the Baltimore hitters today vs Santana, but I think the rain might knock this one off the board.  If the skies are clear, go ahead and green light all dem Baltimore hitters.

Brandon Phillips, 2B: $3,800 – Dat Dude BP.  Did I mention that Philly is opting to go with Helickson on Opening Day?

Ben Zobrist, 2B/OF: $3900 – Not a great matchup vs Richards, but he’s rocking a 6/11 BVP, so let’s go.

Josh Donaldson, 3B: $4,200 – Reigning AL MVP for 42 Hundo? Check!

Daniel Murphy, 2B/3B: $3,400 – I like the price for his 6/16 and 5RBI BVP.  I think Teheran gets roughed up a bit today.

Zack Cozart, SS: $3,100 – Great value for another guy who’s facing Helickson and I think he’ll have a great bounce back year too.

Corey Seager, SS/3B: $3,600 – DK gave him 3B eligibility or did they mix him up with his brother?  Either way I like it and Ross likes to give up the HR ball.

Bryce Harper, OF: $4,500 – Reigning NL MVP for 45 Hundo?  Check!  BTW he owns Teheran 10/23 and 3 Bombs!!

Adam Duvall, OF: $3,100 – Nice value and let’s hope the hot spring carries over.

Franklin Gutierrez, OF: $2,800 – Lefty Smasher at a discount?  Check.

I’m Only Happy When It Rains

It’s looking like snow or rain in Boston, Baltimore and New York.  Keep an eye on the weather because if the New York or Baltimore games go off go get you some Dallas Keuchel and Baltimore hitting.

Doing Lines In Vegas
