RazzBallers, Over reactions in fantasy sports, especially baseball, are difficult to battle. We always want to get the next breakout player, so we overreact to Spring Training performances and reach for them in drafts. We worry about our drafted players starting slow, especially the early rounders, so we make impulsive moves. We over react to […]

Mid-April is where the fantasy baseball season truly begins to take shape. The opening weeks are filled with noise between small samples, cold weather, and unpredictable playing time but by now, we’ve crossed an important threshold. A month and a half of games give us something meaningful to evaluate. The numbers are stabilizing, roles are becoming clearer, and injuries have already started to reshape the landscape. Yet at the same time, there’s still a long runway ahead, making this one of the most volatile, and opportunistic, periods of the entire season. This is when we start to see real movement. Players returning to full health for the first time in months, or even years in some cases, are beginning to climb the rankings as their underlying skills reemerge. Early-season playing time battles are settling, and managers are showing us who they trust as the weather warms and lineups lengthen. At the same time, a handful of surprise starts are forcing us to take a closer look, with some unexpected names beginning to push toward the edges of the rankings. Not all of these starts will stick. Some will fade as pitchers adjust and regression arrives. But others are quietly building foundations for breakout seasons with improved contact quality, better swing decisions, or new roles that hint at something more sustainable. This is the point in the season where smart fantasy managers lean in. There’s enough data to believe, enough uncertainty to create opportunity, and enough season remaining for bold moves to pay off.

We celebrated a pitcher named Noah on Easter, and we’re back with more action. We actually have two Noahs as streamers this week. It’s hard to believe there are so many Noahs out there because I honestly don’t think I’ve ever met anyone named Noah. I did see that disappointing Darren Aronofsky film named Noah, […]

Atlanta is getting incredible production from a shortstop spot manned by Maurcio Dubon (139 wRC+) and Jorge Mateo (222 wRC+), but if they should need another in-house option before Ha-Seong Kim returns from injury, Braves SS Jim Jarvis (25) is firing on all cylinders for Triple-A Gwinnett, slashing .411/.506/.575 with three home runs and 13 stolen bases in 19 games. Defensive prowess has been the carrying tool throughout his baseball life, so it’s surprising to see him roaring out of the gate like this. A left-handed hitter at 5’9” 190 pounds, he’s never slugged .400 as a professional. Hasn’t even gotten especially close, but he’s always controlled the strike zone and taken his walks, maintaining a K:BB ratio somewhere in that sweet spot of 1:1 with a teenage strikeout rate. He’s been hunting a lot more than ever before this year, moving the contact point out front just a bit and really seeking pitches he can pull with loft. Click here to see doing just that and launching an inside pitch.

O’s have a genuine Jackson dilemma on their hands as Baltimore’s fill-in second baseman slash heartthrob is up to a Jackson five homers with this huge bomb in the eighth to give the Orioles the lead Friday night. Joy to the World! I thought Jeremiah was a bullfrog, but he looks more like a bull. […]

What’s up, friends? We’re more than halfway through April, and hopefully your teams are humming along like a well-oiled machine. Unfortunately, “well-oiled machine” does not describe most of my teams, but thankfully, there’s still plenty of time to tinker. (Do remind me in the future to cut back on the draft and holds, though. Looking […]

If you read my posts regularly, you know by now that I have an aversion to young pitchers. Some of them are outstanding from the start, but the majority need time to learn their craft.

Well, it looks like Jack Leiter has finally learned his craft, turning himself into a pitcher and not just a thrower off the mound. His first taste of the majors in 2024 did not go well. Last season he had his ups and downs, especially during the first half of the season.

But the Rangers stuck with him and the more experience he got, the better he became. The success he had in the second half of the 2025 season has carried over into 2026, making Leiter an up-and-coming dynasty player.

Here you will find bullpen charts for each team. Bullpens are a messy business to track, but the purpose here is to highlight each team’s closer(s) and setup men. You can more or less expect the chart to read left-to-right in order of importance, but again, it can be a fluid situation day-to-day, week-to-week (looking at you, Tampa Bay Rays!). So, not only are we highlighting saves options, we’ve got you saves+holds folks covered, too!
