We celebrated a pitcher named Noah on Easter, and we’re back with more action. We actually have two Noahs as streamers this week. It’s hard to believe there are so many Noahs out there because I honestly don’t think I’ve ever met anyone named Noah. I did see that disappointing Darren Aronofsky film named Noah, but we’re hoping these Noahs will be better than that one. Our streamers last week went well once again, and we’re looking to build off of that momentum. With that in mind, let’s take a look at the favorable matchups for this week and then dive into those Noahs in the streamers section.

Favorable Team Matchups

7 Games

Atlanta Braves (at WAS, vs. PHI)

Boston Red Sox (vs. NYY, at BAL)

Colorado Rockies (vs. SD, at NYM)

6 Games

Chicago White Sox (at ARI, vs. WAS)

Kansas City Royals (vs. BAL, vs. LAA)

New York Mets (vs. MIN, vs. COL)

San Diego Padres (at COL, at ARI)

Texas Rangers (vs. PIT, vs. ATH)

Pitching Streamers

Michael McGreevy, STL (at MIA, vs. SEA)

I literally can’t say this guy’s name without busting out an Irish accent. I do the same with Riley O’Brien, and it makes you wonder if the Cards GM is Irish as well. In any case, McGreevy has been using the luck of the Irish in the opening weeks. This right-hander has allowed three runs or fewer in all four starts en route to a 2.49 ERA and 0.83 WHIP.

That’s an encouraging start to the season, but it’s less surprising when you see that McGreevy had a 4.17 ERA and 1.19 WHIP going into September last year. The strikeouts are lacking, but that’s not a big deal since McGreevy has a two-start week against lackluster lineups. Miami has been one of the lowest-scoring teams over the last few years, while Seattle sits 20th in runs scored, 24th in wOBA and 27th in K rate.

Streamonator Valuation: $-39.2

Spencer Arrighetti, HOU (at CLE)

We projected Arrighetti as one of our streamers last week, and things actually worked out! He was in Triple-A when that article was published, but the Astros desperately needed him to fill a spot in this shorthanded rotation. It’s easy to see why they selected him because Arrighetti amassed a 1.26 ERA, 0.77 WHIP and 12.6 K/9 rate in three starts at Triple-A this season. That form carried over into his first start, allowing just one run across six innings while striking out 10 batters. We also saw Arrighetti accrue a 2.90 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 11.4 K.9 rate across his final 11 starts in 2024. That’s the last time we saw this guy fully healthy, and Cleveland is far from a concerning matchup. The Guardians are 18th in runs scored and were 29th in wOBA last season.

Streamonator Valuation: $-19.1

David Peterson, NYM (vs. COL)

We always pick streamers when the Rockies are on the road. The Coors Field effect has made Colorado the lowest-scoring road team for over a decade now. They were already near the bottom of every offensive statistic, even with Coors Field, but they still sit 27th in xwOBA and dead-last in K rate. That becomes a nightmare in a pitcher’s park like Citi Field, where they’ll be projected to score only 3-4 runs in each of these games.

All of that makes Peterson an easy option as one of our streamers, posting a 3.18 ERA and 1.25 WHIP last year before a terrible final month. He’s also gotten off to a slow start this year, but this cupcake matchup in Citi Field lowers his floor big time. He actually had a home start against the Rockies last season, allowing one run across 5.2 innings. That’s why his Streamonator projection is the highest among our streamers, despite a slow start.

Streamonator Valuation: $48.5

Noah Cameron, KC (vs. LAA)

Cameron was one of our streamers on Easter Sunday, and we’re going right back to the religious well. This Royals righty has quietly been one of their most consistent arms since his call-up. Cameron had a 2.99 ERA and 1.10 WHIP across 24 starts in his rookie campaign last season and has a 3,94 ERA and 1.25 WHIP this year. He’s also allowed three runs or fewer in 21 of 27 career starts, while registering a 2.93 ERA and 1.11 WHIP at home last year. A home start against the Angels couldn’t be a better opportunity because this team had the lowest K rate in baseball last season and sits 24th this year. The lack of strikeout stuff is the only real concern with Cameron, but that doesn’t matter against a lineup like LA.

Streamonator Valuation: $-1.2

Noah Schultz, CWS (vs. WAS)

Schultz is one of the top pitching prospects in baseball, and it’s wild to see a 6’10” guy take the mound. This towering lefty struggled in his debut, but that’s moved him into the streamers section since so many fantasy managers dropped him already. We’ll capitalize on that brash move because Schultz was a stud throughout his minor league career.

He had a 2.86 ERA and 1.18 WHIP while striking out 253 batters across 207 innings at the minor league level. Schultz also had a 1.29 ERA, 0.43 WHIP and 12.2 K/9 rate at Triple-A this season, so they couldn’t keep him down there any longer. Facing Tampa was a tough matchup in his debut, but a home start against Washington is a much easier landing spot. While they’ve been one of the highest-scoring teams, we don’t believe it since they were 25th in wOBA last season.

Streamonator Valuation: $-4.3

Hitting Streamers

Dominic Smith, ATL (at WAS, vs. PHI)

It was unclear what sort of role Smith would have in Atlanta this season, but they can’t keep his bat out of the lineup right now. He’s played in six of the last seven games and is in a prime RBI spot behind all of these All-Stars in the Braves lineup. That’s allowed Smith to see some sexy pitches, providing a .381 AVG, .643 SLG and 1.043 OPS so far this season. That’s the stud prospect we saw back in his Mets days, maintaining a .299 AVG, .571 SLG and .937 OPS between 2019 and 2020.

That was obviously a long time ago, but at least we know he has the ability!  What makes him enticing as one of our streamers this week is his strong schedule. Not only does Atlanta play seven games, but they face six right-handers. Smith had a .296 AVG and .779 OPS against righties last year and has much better splits against them throughout his career.

Jake Burger, TEX (vs. PIT, vs. ATH)

This is now the third time Burger has featured as one of our streamers. What’s hard to understand is why people aren’t picking him up at this point. Burger has re-established himself as the Rangers’ everyday cleanup hitter and is clearly back to his power-hitting ways. This first baseman has a .253 AVG, .507 SLG and .785 OPS through 19 games this season.

Those are the averages that intrigued Texas when they signed him, with Burger picking up 63 homers between 2023 and 2024 while generating a .488 SLG and .793 OPS. That’s a must-roster player across fantasy leagues, and he’s got a great schedule of games this week. He avoids Paul Skenes and Mitch Keller in the Pirates rotation and gets a three-game set against an A’s team that has one of the worst rotations in baseball.

SAGNOF (Saves/Steals Ain’t Got No Face)

Steals Specialists

Nasim Nunez (WAS)

Nunez has developed into an everyday player for the Nats and is among the league leaders with seven steals.

David Hamilton (MIL)

Hamilton has also been playing nearly every day in Milwaukee, recording four steals so far this season. He had 55 steals across just 511 plate appearances over the last two years and could be one of the league leaders if he plays over 100 games this year.

Saves Specialists

Bryan Baker (TB)

Baker has been getting almost all of the save chances in Tampa, picking up four saves over his last five appearances.

Abner Uribe (MIL)

With Trevor Megill struggling mightily, Uribe got a save earlier this week. Uribe has a 1.96 ERA and 1.05 WHIP since last season.

How about Gavin Sheets or Jake Cronenworth?

Only 5 games, but 3 are in Colorado (at least 2 against righties), and the other two are also against righties Arizona in Mexico City.
