Welcome back Razzers to another Top 100 Outifelders, I’m just going to dive into the player updates this week as I made several updates throughout my rankings in a bit of a shuffle-up, let’s get it!
Nolan Jones – Who would have thought that the land where all prospects go to die would be the birthplace of the latest and greatest producer this side of Eden. Jones has got my attention and hopefully, he continues to fly under the radar of Bud Black. Just in the last week, he has 3 HR, 4 SB, and a .400 AVG; yes, that is phenomenal. That is only slightly behind the week the next guy is having.
Corbin Carroll – Not to be outdone by a Rockie rookie, Carrol posted a 3/3 week but hung 9 runs and 8 RBI with a .500 AVG. He always went higher than I was ready to take him this year in drafts, but turns out I should have been more bullish. He’s got 13 HR and 19 SB with a .300+ AVG and is currently 2-2 on the night as of this writing. I had to look in the mirror for his ROS projection and realize we are not even in July yet. stonks!
Jace Peterson – On-base Jace always has about 1-month in him each season where he actually earns that nickname. And this season, it’s June. Ride the hot hand while you can. The A’s are collectively producing right now and that hides him in the lineup, as that tends to be the only time he is able to do anything… when nobody is watching.
Joc Pederson – Off the IL, and back in the lineup. Since returning he has had 2 games of 4 hits including a double-dong night—hot Schomato alert.
Adam Duvall -Another name fresh off the IL, he was on a crazy pace prior to crashing into the sun. So worth a speculative add as he finds his footing again. A launch-angled power-hitting RHB is always worth a look when playing for the Red Sox.
Jordan Walker – So nice to have him back. 2 HR and hitting .429 over the last week. I get the feeling he’s going to go on a bender in July/early August and hit 6 HR in a 2-week period. In the last few games, he’s been moved up to 7th in the order, and you gotta think he makes his way up another 1 or 2 spots if he keeps this up.
Jack Suwinski – He reminds me of Krispie Young. Power and speed, but is crazy streaky due to all the whiffs. He’s been heating up again. Batting .333 over the last week and 2 HR in the last 3 games. Feel like he’s going to end the season around the top 30-40 for outfielders.
Lane Thomas – One-of-those-seasons(TM) that ends up being way more valuable than people think because he’s kinda boring but consistent and balanced across the stat sheet while hitting at the top of the lineup around mid-May since Davy realized Alex Call was a, umm, bad call. I have moved him up my ranks (yes, this is overdue).
Michael A. Taylor – Speaking of guys that only do something when nobody is looking… MAT is at it again, and having one-of-those-seasons(TM), decaf version, nobody gets excited for and nobody wants, but… goes on just enough of a tear to be interesting. I think now is one of those times. I’ve probably picked him up and dropped him 12 times this season in Perts league, no cap.
Taylor Ward – He has found his stroke again—never doubted him for a minute! Well, maybe a little—the only problem is, he sucked long enough for Mickey Moniak to carve out a role on the roster. So now we got ourselves an old-fashioned platoon. That shaves off some of both of their value, sad Trumbone.

As always, the individual ranks (and to a degree the dollars) don’t really matter, what’s important are the tiers, and more important than that—your roster construction. Any outfielder not listed, consider them tier 5.
