As baseball shifts into September things change. Much like the leaves on the trees, the temperature of the wind, and the flavor of my iced coffee, there is a shift. Pitchers are throwing fewer innings as they come up on IP limits or seek rest before a playoff run, gone are the hot, humid summer […]

Weekly Razzball news delivered straight to your inbox.
After week 1 of the NFL season is in the books, it’s time to turn our attention back to MLB for a minute and enjoy this 11 game Tuesday slate. As I was putting together the data tables which help me look for SPs and offenses to stack I was struck by the number of […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?On this week’s Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast, Grey and B_Don cover the fresh batch of September call-ups. Starting in New York with Jasson Dominguez joining the Yankees. Kumar Rocker, Justin Foscue, and Jack Leiter are on their way up as reinforcements in Texas. Landon Knack is rejoining the Dodgers rotation and our boy, Jordan Walker, […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Even, and this is 100% true, Alex Verdugo rostered Jasson Dominguez (1-for-4, 1 run, 1 steal) in his fantasy league. Even Verdugo’s mom was like, “Boy, I love you, but I have a H2H league I’m trying to win.” It seemed like up until yesterday, Jasson Dominguez was rostered everywhere by everyone except by the […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Happy Monday, Razzball faithful! I mentioned this last week, but it bears repeating especially since the Mariners’ starting pitcher group has been lights out for most of the season. Oh, you don’t believe me? Well, let’s go to the cherry tree and pick some juicy numbers that should pop your eyeballs out a bit more. […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Hi all, happy Monday, and welcome to (probably) week two of your fantasy playoffs. If you’ve moved on to your next opponent congratulations or if you’re in a league with playoff rounds that are multi-week – keep up the pressure! This week I want to cover a few tips, tricks, and just general things to […]
Please, blog, may I have some more? What is a Wacha? Philosophically. I know what he was on Sunday: Michael Wacha went 7 IP, 0 ER, 5 baserunners, 7 Ks, ERA at 3.34. I mean, what is a Wacha for fantasy? A reliable older starter in a playoff race? Would you agree with that? Good. Okay, that’s the starter you want for […]
Please, blog, may I have some more? For those who play in head-to-head leagues, it’s playoff time! The time when you’re looking for every edge you can get against your opponents. So, naturally, MLB teams are doing nothing to help you this week. I blame Rob Manfred. (I blame him for most things.) For one thing, this week’s slate of two start […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Last week, we wrapped up our Top 100 Hitter rankings for the remainder of the 2024 fantasy baseball season. While we’re in the home stretch, there’s still work to be done for this year. But savvy fantasy owners know it’s never too early to start planning ahead especially in keeper and dynasty leagues. As we charge toward the end of the season, we’re taking a page out of the White Sox playbook and turning our focus to 2025. This week, we’re diving into some early sleeper picks for the upcoming year. These are players who have had partial seasons, late breakouts, or have shown notable skill improvements, but haven’t yet made it into the enduring everyday fantasy conversation. Whether they can give your roster a late-season boost or become prime offseason trade targets, these are names that will intrigue you the deeper you dig. Welcome to our early look at hitter profiles for 2025.
Please, blog, may I have some more?Only three weeks remain in the regular season, which sadly means we’re almost done with streamers. Like many of you, I’m in my fantasy playoffs right now and am focused on getting these streamers right so I can make some money. That should benefit all of you because I’m trying to get zoned in for […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Marlins 2B Javier Sanoja (22) is on the taxi squad today as the club awaits the injury news on Jose Devers. Sanoja has earned this promotion in his own right by slashing .291/.354/.431 with an incredible 8.9-to-6.1 percent walk-to-strikeout rate. A right-handed hitter listed at 5’7” 150 lbs, Sanoja has seven home runs and 17 steals in 126 games across two levels, so he’s not exactly an ideal fit for our game, but the Marlins were onto something when they prioritized the tough at bats a guy like Luis Arraez can provide, so maybe they’ll give Sanoja a good long look between this year and next.
Please, blog, may I have some more? We’ve all been there. The hunger pangs flood over one, but the motivation to cook or even punch in a few selections on today’s private equity-backed delivery app never materializes. Time to crack open the fridge and examine the options. Monday’s spaghetti and Tuesday’s taco meat stare right back. It’s time for leftovers. It’s hard […]
