This week starts out with the tale of how an invite to the old ballpark from Razzball’s own Donkey Teeth, snowballed into drunken madness and a broken Ronald Acuña Jr.. After Grey blames me for Acuña’s mild ACL sprain, we move onto some of the top topics and performers of the last week. From Mike Foltynewicz, to Felipe Vazquez’s numb ring finger, to Russell Martin’s new found Brock Holt-ness, and everything in between. We play a game of Hot Schmotato with Daniel Mengden, Ross Stripling, and the Rays new bullpen starters, and celebrate Grey’s buy call on Jesus Aguilar. It’s a wild week on the show, and guaranteed to be an all-time classic! I say that every week, regardless of the quality of the show. Finally, please make sure to support our sponsor by heading over to RotoWear.com and entering promo code “SAGNOF” for 20% off the highest quality t-shirts in the fantasy sports game. @Andrea LaMont: Long time listener, first time caller?

      • @Ralph Lifshitz: He can be a guest, he can be a friend, he can be a caller. He can be anything you want, but he isn’t Razzball’s own. He is Lenny Melnick Fantasy Sports own, and we are extremely proud of that. I don’t personally know you, but I have been enjoying Razzball for many years, in fact, I discussed this with Gray at Foleys during Tout Wars draft weekend – I am pleased that some of our guys want to contribute to Razzball, let us just not forget where they came from. No hard feelings.

PS someone please go comment on my recent article about erections, I mean surprise fantasy hitters. It’s lonely and depressing in my comments section: https://razzball.com/hold-on-loosely-part-two/

@Andrea LaMont: Hmmm… strange. I saw Donkey and Ralph were together at the Red Sox game recently, so it made sense to me to read he was Razzball’s own. I guess if it’s that big of a deal though, Donkey would have something to say about it… /shrug

          • @Mr. Steal Yo Donkey: Right about that, I should have asked him whats up before I came here and opened myself up to all kinds of rebuttal…Lesson learned

Hi Ralph! You got the best fantasy prospect takes in the game! Love using your stuff in combination with Sickels. Hoping to catch your opinion here:

I was offered Robbie Ray for Luis Robert and Dylan Cease. Should I pull the trigger or hold?

There was also a second offer where he would throw in Kepler (so I would get Kepler and Ray) if I threw in a draft pick and Colton Welker (so I would give Robert, Cease, Welker and a top-75 prospect TBNL), is this offer better or worse? I need the OF help!

    Ralph,

You are the man of minor leaguers….love your updates etc…..couple quesitons.

    1. Dynasty league….same round keeper would you rather bellinger or hoskins?
2; is it worth stashing senzel?????
    3. what other guys do you think get called up shortly which would be worth to add…..kyle tucker?

    Thanks

    • Ralph Lifshitz

      Ralph Lifshitz says:

      @kwoox: Give me Bellinger

Yes, but not if it’s stopping you from filling a roster.

Tucker should be up soon, Kopech isn’t far away, and Austin Riley.

Do I trade Folty, Flaherty, and Calhoun or Trammell for Rendon in a 16-team ops keeper?

Tatis, Senzel, A. Hansen, Pearson, J. Ortiz would be left in my MiLB. Sale, Nola, Happ and Faria would be my SPs post-trade.

Davidson is my current 3B, with JRam going between 2B and 3B.

Worries this would decimate my pitching. Currently in first place.

Ralph can you please rank these guys on pure upside. I m not worried about arrival time. 6×6 roto dynasty. Wander Franco, Kevin Smith, Isaac Parades, Bubbs Thompson, Yunior Severino, or Estanli Castillo? I have referred to your top 150mseveral times but I am not sure if you have any updates based on early season production. Thank you as always.

16 team roto dynasty with 7 man max prospect lists. we can call up anybody on the list at any time (till 130/50), we can ONLY send down somebody who either started year on active roster OR on prospect list (so nobody added to our NA slots can be sent down to protected list). we can of course trade for prospects who could be sent to prospect list. extra stats: OPS, total bases, steals %, hits, OBP over AVG, slugging, holds, K/9, K/BB, net saves, QS.

    DL swiggy, r-zimm, kiermaier
NA (4 slots): rooker (1B/LF), marsh (RF)
SP (1750 innings cap): tropeano (streamer), stripling, wood, carrasco, yarbrough, morton, hamels
RP (6 max slots): morrow, kimbrel, yates, rivero, green, neris

    Brandon Marsh, $2

  12. Dave Wittenauer says:

What do you think is going on with Cavan Biggio? I read that he changed his swing in the offseason, so perhaps this is sustainable? He’s leading that team in RBI’s, even with Vlad Jr. on the squad and seems to have an easy path to the show.

  13. Jon says:
    (link)

Hey Ralph, I have room to add a prospect… keep forever league, if that makes a difference. 5×5 scoring. Guys that are available:

    Kyle Lewis
    Corey Ray
    Christin Stewart
    Justus Sheffield
    Chance Adams
    Corbin Burnes
    Jon Duplantier
    Peter Alonso
    Freddy Peralta
    Jason Groome
    Jake Bauers

Since I’m going off of highest % owned in CBS it’s definitely possible that I’m missing some underrated or up-and-coming guys — are there other names I should check out to see if they’re available?
