Welcome back to Tuesday DFS here on Razzball. Tuesdays are quite the task if you’re playing the main slate. 15 games on the docket today, including Coors and many other great hitting spots. There’s also a plethora of solid pitching options today and it seems paying for the top arms might be the way to go, seeing as there are 10 games with a total at or above 9.

Tonight’s choice on the mound will be a tough one but there should be multiple guys who could get you that 50+ number needed to cash out. We have Brandon Woodruff ($11,400) at home vs the Cubs as the highest-priced pitcher, followed by Robbie Ray ($10,800) at home vs Seattle, Kevin Gausman ($10,500) in L.A. opposite Walker Buehler ($10,000). Under 10K you’ll find Lucas Giolito, Jose Urquidy, Charlie Morton, and Trevor Rogers, all of whom are solid options.

Good luck tonight, and remember to stay positive and visualize that bankroll spiking like Bitcoin in April. Visualize your success! You HAVE to believe it to be true before it can happen. Go with your gut and do it with confidence. Let’s go!

Starting Pitcher Targets

Brandon Woodruff, SP: ($11,400) – The price is high but it’s well warranted. Since the start of June the Cubs have been one of the worst run-producing offenses in baseball while striking out at the highest rate (29.8%) vs RHP. I can see Woodruff being the highest scoring pitcher on the slate and ownership should not be an issue on a full slate with so many options.

Robbie Ray, SP: ($10,800) – Striking out at the second-highest rate vs Lefties since the start of June (Cubs are 1st vs LHP as well) are the Mariners. Though their run-producing numbers aren’t bottom of the barrel, they don’t scare me off of this price for Ray, whose overall numbers have been extremely solid all season.

Charlie Morton, SP: ($9,000) – Morton has gone 14.2 innings with an 18/2 K/BB and zero runs allowed over his past two outings. Most recently against these Mets who he’s pretty much dominated this season in two matchups. He seems to have found himself again and we’re going to ride the wave.

First Base

Matt Olson, C/1B: ($4,200) – Facing Foltynewicz who gives up a ton of contact, fly balls, and home runs. The As were the stack to own last Tuesday, and they have a good chance to be up there in the top stacks by night’s end.

Yuli Gurriel, C/1B: ($3,000) – Always seems to go under-owned in the Astros stacks. He’s cheaper than most Astros and whoever the Orioles throw tonight, it should be a solid matchup for anyone in the lineup.

Second Base

Ryan McMahon, 2B (3B): ($4,100) – Slugging .636 at home vs Righties, McMahon gets a semi-pitch-to-contact guy in Chase De Jong, whose fly ball and hard hit rates are both over 40%. I’ll take this matchup all day.

Jake Cronenworth, 2B (1B): ($3,300) – .947 OPS and 299 ISO in June, Cronenworth has been sneaky awesome the past few weeks. Cincinnati is basically Coors field in terms of offensive production and power numbers and the Padres have a solid matchup vs Tony Santillan.

Michael Chavis, 2B (1B): ($2,400) – I’m assuming his ownership will be high given his price and matchup. But on such a large slate I’m not too concerned when I’m getting a guy at this price hitting leadoff for a top offense in the game vs Brad Keller. Even if he’s not leading off, he’s a top value play.

Third Base

Vlad Guerrero Jr., 3B (1B): (($4,600) – I know, I know… If I were reading this I’d be saying, “no shit”. The ONLY reasons I feel this needs mentioning is that Flexen is abysmal on the road and his recent game log (4 of 5 at home), Vlad’s price, and the other options should have Vlad under owned. Gotta take the opportunities when you can.

Rafael Devers, 3B: ($3,700) – I do like Jose Ramirez but even on such a large slate his ownership is going to be crazy high and there’s weather concerns in the Indians game. Devers’ matchup is great vs Keller, and the Royals bullpen isn’t too scary either. Get Devers in some lineups with your Bo Sox stacks. A Devers, Dalbec, Chavis stack is very affordable.

Bobby Dalbec, 3B (1B): ($2,500) – Matchup, price, and ownership relative to price are all in Dalbec’s advantage tonight. He and Chavis make a Red Sox stack value-worthy.

Short Stop

Fernando Tatis Jr. , SS: ($4,700) – Another “no shit” play. But the park and matchup are so juicy I had to say it. He’ll be chalky chalk, but on a huge slate our differentiation opportunities are endless.

Bo Bichette, SS: ($3,800) – Same reasons as Vlad. Ownership down and a sneaky good matchup.

Wander Franco, SS ($2,700) – The honeymoon ended as quick as it started. That’s good for us. Joe Ross is due for a blowup and Wander is gonna pop here shortly.

Willy Adames, SS: ($2,600) – Has been solid since joining the Brewers and I have to think Zach Davies’ luck is going to run out soon.

Outfield

Shohei Ohtani, OF: ($4,300) – As a one off or paired with Walsh. 89% chance he homers. 55% chance he homers twice. 45% chance he homers and steals a bag. Those numbers are made up but this dude is unreal.

Astros Outfield – Whoever it is, the Orioles SP is in for a long (or short) night. Hopefully the unknown SP keeps the Astros ownership down.

Padres Outfield – Highly owned for sure, but a great value overall.

Tony Kemp, OF: ($2,400) – Should be leading off against Foltynewicz. Makes an As stack quite affordable.

Aristides Aquino: OF: ($2,400) – Better overall vs Lefties and Blake Snell has been straight up bad on the road this season. Can’t beat the price on a hot and humid day in Cinci.

Favorite Stacks : Red Sox, Rockies, Astros, A’s, Blue Jays

I’m Only Happy When It Rains

Hot and humid with the wind blowing out in New York (Yanks), Philadelphia, DC, Buffalo (Jays), Cincinnati, and Boston.

Possible Weather Issues: Rain in the forecast in Cleveland (Tigers @ Indians) and Chicago (Twins @ White Sox). As of now, those 2 games seem to be the only concerns. Be sure to check the weather updates wherever you can before locking players from these two games in your lineup. Living in Chicago, we’ve gotten about 6 inches of rain over the past week so if there’s some heavy rain heading into game time the field might be struggling.
