Known as the Kraken, Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez ($3,100) has been on a tear over the last two weeks, batting .325 with six homers. Surprisingly his price still hasn’t caught up to his production, so this is a perfect spot to release the Kraken into your lineups against lefty Martin Perez. Sanchez has a 143 wRC+ against left-handed pitching this season. Also consider high upside Yankees bats including Giancarlo Stanton ($3,600), DJ LeMahieu ($3,500), and Luke Voit ($2,500).

Carlos Rodon, SP: $11,200– Rodon is easily the top starting pitcher option on the slate with a 1.83 ERA and a 36.6% K-rate. He’s facing one of the league’s weakest lineups in the Mariners, who have just a .288 wOBA against lefties and strike out 27.6% of the time.

Mike Minor, SP: $8,200– Minor is a value option as he takes on the Rangers, who have an 83 wRC+ against southpaws. Minor has a solid 25.8% K-rate and over the last month, he’s had a 3.62 ERA.

Ozzie Albies, 2B: $3,300 – The Braves are another top stack option in an extreme hitter’s environment in Cincinnati. They have lots of upside against rookie starter Vladimir Gutierrez, who is skating on thin ice with an 18.9% K-rate and a 4.51 FIP. Albies is a crucial part of the stack batting third for Atlanta, and he’s got three homers and three steals in the last week.

Jose Ramirez, 3B: $3,600 – The Twins will be deploying a bullpen game against Cleveland, which is ideal for a switch hitter in Jose Ramirez who will always have the handedness advantage. Ramirez has a 130 wRC+ with 16 homers as a high-end third base play.

Xander Bogaerts, SS: $3,600 – Bogaerts has been elite with a .932 OPS and has home run upside against Domingo German, who has a 1.83 HR/9.

Cody Bellinger, OF: $3,800 – Bellinger has yet to really contribute this season due to injury issues, but he’s still among the best players in fantasy when he’s on the field. Players who quietly return from the injured list often fall under the radar at first, so this is an opportunity to potentially get Bellinger at a low rostership rate. He can have a big night batting cleanup against Jake Arrieta, owner of a 5.45 ERA.

Juan Soto, OF: $3,800 – While Soto’s power numbers have been weak this year, he’s still got a .402 OBP. Consider him in cash games, as he’s been on base in 11 straight games.

Joc Pederson, OF: $3,300 – Pederson is a power upside flier with 11 home runs against righties this year.

I’m Only Happy When It Rains

A few spots to watch out for tonight: Houston-Detroit, Atlanta-Cincinnati, Mariners-White Sox, and Pirates-Cardinals all have rain headed their way. Watch out for delays and postponement risks.
