Please, blog, may I have some more?Hello out there, Razzballers! Once again, we had another great week of baseball action that brought us fantasy standings chaos, injuries, and new entrants to our game via callups. And THE BIG ONE occurred this week with the promotion of certain future Hall-of-Famer (at least it seems that way if you’ve been trying to trade […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Excuse the exposition and this clunky intro into the aforementioned exposition, but here’s the catchers to target, 1st basemen to target, 2nd basemen to target, and shortstops to target. These 3rd basemen to target are being drafted after 200 overall. Hopefully, you drafted Jose Ramirez or Austin Riley already, because, otherwise, you’re screwed. There are upcoming RCL drafts, if you wanna get rowdy and/or […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?In our 77th episode, Mike Couillard and Jeremy Brewer are joined by Joe Orrico of FanGraphs and FantasyPros, to discuss the latest MLB moves and preview the NL East teams. For each team in the division, we each pick a player that for fantasy purposes we would buy, sell, and pick to click. You can find us on bluesky […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?“Pump up the jam, pump it up,” was what I was singing during the shortstops rankings. And now we’re not singing fun, party songs anymore. Submerge yourself into a garbage dump; take a deep breath…Ah, that’s the smell of the top 20 3rd basemen for 2025 fantasy baseball. Don’t turn your nose up! Don’t turn […]
Please, blog, may I have some more? One super quick word about the top 20 2nd basemen for 2025 fantasy baseball and all the 2025 fantasy baseball rankings, each ranking appears insanely long and it is, but I imagine in a lot of leagues guys won’t have eligibility, because I’m using the extremely lax Yahoo position eligibility (five games started). Without further […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?To quote one of the great poets of our time, as Pitbull said, “Hello, my name is not Mr. Right…” Something-something for a few lines then, “…But Imma be your Mr. Right Now. Right now, right now, right now….” Mr. Bull is exactly right (now). All that is right for, uh, now in fantasy baseball […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Good morning all! Hope you had some fun over the weekend watching a bunch of football and of course baseball. Not to mention winning your semi-final matchup (I hope)! For this week’s edition of the fantasy points article, I’ll be looking at which teams you should and shouldn’t be targeting for starting pitcher streams as […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?If you’re still engaged as a fantasy manager it likely means you’re deep in your league’s playoffs and fighting for your fantasy life right now. Every game, every at bat, every pitch is nerve-racking. You’re refreshing your league page no less than 30 times a night, hoping to find HRs, SBs, and dominant pitching performances […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Jordan Walker has fooled me a few times before. Ya know what they say: Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. There is no “fool me three times.” Fool me four times, and I’m calling an attorney to see if I can get a No More Foolsies Order put into […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Yesterday, Jose Tena went 2-for-4, 2 runs and his 1st homer. His last name you might remember from when you used to ask your dad for money. “Can I get $20?” “How about a Tena?” Tena spent roughly seven years in the minors and looked to be hitting well as far back as Rookie Ball […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?If I were running an MLB organization these past few weeks, I’d have been on the phone with Vladimir Guerrero Jr.’s agent in a fairly constant way, discussing long term contracts while I backchannel with the Blue Jays about his price tag on the trade market. It’s probably good that I’m not in that position. In dynasty leagues, I have a tendency to pay what it costs to make the move and figure out the rest in the aftermath. Major league teams do not agree with that approach, considering the lack of prospect firepower that changed organizations on deadline day. Baseball America ran a piece that said zero top 100 prospects were traded this time around. While we might be able to pick at the specifics a bit, the premise feels fair enough: this year brought us a strange few days of trades without many Named Guys making headlines.
