May the glory of the final start be all thy holds in one’s heart and take into next year for thy future breakout. [makes the sign of the cross, only it’s the sign of a baseball diamond]. One of the things I will miss the most during the offseason is the random ace outing from […]

Pete Crow-Armstrong generates power from you thinking he looks like Problem Child. He generates power from you thinking a ginger can’t go in the sun like he’s a Gremlin. He generates power from his freckles! You cannot stop him, you can only hope if the sun reflects off him, that the reflection doesn’t hit you […]

Could Zebby Matthews (8 1/3 IP, 1 ER, 5 hits, zero walks, 5 Ks, ERA at 4.58) of the Matthewsses be having himself a star mitzvah? Let’s see the background on him: His real name is Daniel Zebulon Matthews. Honestly, smart move to go by Zebby. Zebulon is out of this world on its own. […]

Greetings friends! If my calendar is correct, we’ve got exactly one month left in baseball’s regular season, and therefore exactly one month left in most standard format fantasy seasons. It’s been another week that’s felt somewhat like one step forward, two steps back, with some unfortunate injuries popping up, hitters going cold at the worst […]

We’re heading into the last week of August, friends! If you are in a league where you’re fighting for a money spot but currently seem to be losing that battle, it likely feels like the season’s already over. If you’re on top of the standings with teams nipping at your heels, however, these next five […]

Mariners’ Jerry Dipoto watching the giant clock that reads, “Rookie Eligibility Manipulation.” The big hand reads, “Service Time,” and the smaller hand reads, “Under 45 Days Active to Maintain Rookie Eligibility.” Dipoto remarks to his assistant, “Why didn’t they put ‘Under 45 Days Active to Maintain Rookie Eligibility’ on the big hand and ‘Service Time’ […]

Ketel Marte didn’t show up to Fenway Park on Monday, and, honestly, good for him. Mondays stink. As someone who went to school in Boston and went AWOL from freshman through junior year, due to, uh, one Ketel, been there, man. (Okay, in fairness, we put Popov vodka in a bottle of Ketel to try […]

Hello again, hope your teams are treating you well and that you’re dodging as many bullets as possible in the year of the unprecedented Closerpocalypse. As we hit the one month point of the 2026 season, it’s that tricky time of year when a hitter’s bad start is suddenly a bad start plus the beginning […]

Christian Scott will be called up to start on Thursday, as the Mets moved on from a man D. Peterson. Welp, can’t buy me love. I’d like a refresher cocktail, if you don’t mind. I said when he was called up for the first time on May 2nd, 2024, “Mets are promoting Christian Scott to […]

Way too early for retractions and corrections from the editor. I’m not going to Editor’s Note less than a week in. I’m not Editor’s Noting: You do not have to hand it to player who I didn’t like. I will not be Editor’s Noting: The guy who I said in the preseason sucked, he’s good […]

We’re deep, deep, deep, and these guys might not be playable. The top 100 outfielders for 2026 fantasy baseball are your flyers in most leagues, and your 5th and 6th outfielders in deep leagues. Keep in mind, we have NL-Only rankings, and AL-Only rankings. If you have no need for these outfielders in your league, think […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Welcome back to my weekly rankings. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
This week is the Top 50 Dynasty Center Fielders for 2026.
The good news when it comes to this group is that it is young.
This is position for the younger players. Yes, there are 12 ranked players who are 30 or over, but none of them are older than 33, and that player is not a true outfielder. In the 25-29 age group we have 28 players, or 56% of the group. And out of those 28 players, nine of them are only 25 years old. If you lump them in with the 20-24 age group, that is 19 players, or 38%, who are 25 or younger who can slot in as your center fielder.
