This post is called giving flowers. I am at the headquarters for 1-800-Flowers, answering questions like, “Why didn’t I just call them?” and “What do you mean you don’t know our number?” and “If you’re allergic, that’s even more of a reason not to be here, isn’t it?” Questions like that! But you know what, […]

Please, blog, may I have some more?Just a quick hitter this week as we come out of the All-Star Break. Hope everyone is feeling energized for a the final 40% of the season. Because there is very little movement during a 3 day week, I’m going to take a look at the current stats that VinWins has collected and we’ll compare […]
Please, blog, may I have some more? Can we officially do away with the notion that the HR Derby negatively affects its participants for the 2nd half? Teoscar went yard last night and Bobby Witt almost hit a cycle amongst his near perfect start to the 2nd half. The narrative does exist, however, that HR derby participants had to change their swing […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?On this week’s Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast, Grey and B_Don talk about some of the happenings after the MLB All-Star Game. We start with some of the promotions with Jacob Wilson’s bad injury luck, Nacho(ooooo) Alvarez Jr., and Tyler Phillips coming off a strong start. Next up, we talk about a few big name starting […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?A haltingly groggy voice, “I’m so proud of my son, Hunter,” says Joe…..Greene! C’mon! What Joe did you think I was going to say? “Hunter really knows how to avoid the crack,” Joe stammers, “Of the bat.” Joe Greene again! C’mon! Yesterday, Hunter Greene went 7 IP, 0 ER, 5 baserunners, 7 Ks, ERA at […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Happy Monday, Razzball faithful! We’re BACK on a lovely Monday afternoon in July, and all is right in the world. The All-Star festivities are fading in the rearview mirror and we can all breathe a sigh of relief that we have a full slate of baseball ahead of us this week! I hope you enjoyed […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Folx, I hate to tell you, but there wasn’t much baseball last week. Apparently MLB called upon their own Avengers and paid them screen time to hit balls into the stratosphere as a diversion tactic to the real terrors facing the world: county fair season. Y’all have county fairs where you live? Maybe a better question is, “If you needed a spa or your driveway re-sealed or some chicken on a stick, do you know where you’d go?” Why, you’d go to the county fair! But I digress. With no meaningful stats collected in the last week, you can click my user name up above and find last week’s article with my most recent adds. Nothing really changed since then.
This week, I’m delving into the deeper side of fantasy baseball: What to do to save your team, no matter where you are in the standings. As always, it’s your team and leagues vary — if you know your league has obscure settings that need special treatment, you do you and don’t worry about this advice.
Please, blog, may I have some more?Yesterday, Brandon Pfaadt went 7 IP, 0 ER, 1 hit, 1 walk, 7 Ks, ERA at 3.74. Singing a’la the Fat Boys, “The Pfaadt Boy is back! And you know he can never be wack!” [sees Pfaadt’s game log] Okay, so he can be wack. “The Pfaadt Boy is back! And you know he can […]
Please, blog, may I have some more? We’re back! Apologies to any of you who came out of the All-Star break looking for help with 10-day scoring periods, but this column goes live on Sundays. As far as the week ahead goes, we have a pretty good idea about what most of the rotations are going to look like, but there are […]

Embrace the chaos, trust the process, and let’s dive into the rankings that will shape your championship run. Optimism is our watchword, because every at-bat is a new opportunity, and every swing could be the one that turns your season around. Here’s the lowdown on who’s rising, who’s falling, and who’s worth keeping an eye on in the coming weeks.
Please, blog, may I have some more? It’s always strange to take a week off for the All-Star break because it feels like there are no breaks in baseball. It’s funny because I don’t really know what to do with myself the first 2-3 days off, and then it’s back before you know it. Luckily, the withdrawals weren’t too bad, and I’m […]
