If you’re as online as a normal Razzball reader would be, you’ve seen a lot of talk about MLB Statcast’s new bat tracking metrics. Bat Tracking data was officially introduced to the public last year on May 13, starting with data for the 2024 season, and since then they’ve backfilled data up to the All […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?I don’t have enough spam, give me the Razzball email newsletter!
Weekly Razzball news delivered straight to your inbox.
Good News: I do not have to discuss Bobby Witt Jr. and Austin Riley because both are healthy after getting drilled by pitches this week! Bad News: We still have plenty of injury updates to cover while weeks away from domestic Opening Day!! Don’t you just love pain? I mean, baseball. Let’s dive into this […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Opening Day is finally less than two weeks away, but before we get to our regular season deep league programming, it’s time for a draft recap of my eponymous Laura Holt Challenge RCL. I may be a bit biased, but it’s hard to imagine a more competitive league in the land of fantasy baseball (starting […]
Please, blog, may I have some more? With only about two weeks left until every Major League Baseball team has had their Opening Day, we are officially on the back nine of 2025 Spring Training. If you haven’t had it already, your fantasy baseball draft is likely coming up in one of the next two weekends. That means it’s time to take […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Last year I had an accident where I slammed my head into a wall, which caused me to say stupid things, and I said Elly De La Cruz was overrated. Thankfully, I had an operation, removing the idiot from my brain and I have a chance to make amends. As they always say, “Make amends, […]
Please, blog, may I have some more? The other night, 3/11, 3, 3, 11…sorry, 90s/early 2000s PTSD kicked in there for a second. I took part in the 2025 Memorial Magazine League over on CBS with many fine people you know.. We have draft coverage in the AL and NL only leagues from The Itch and Grey, but as the only Razzballer…BALLER, […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Ahhh, brings back memories, as this song hit right in my prime. Yes, I’m an old f’er, which segues perfectly…not Son Segwaying over to Grey’s neck of the woods in Los Angeles….Although, that would be fun, but the over/under on me getting splattered all over the concrete is 1 mile. Anyways, before I begin this […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?In our 83rd episode, Mike Couillard and Jeremy Brewer are joined by Razzball’s very own The Itch (Nick Roos) to discuss prospect buys for both fantasy and card purposes. The Itch will give background on what he loves about each prospect and then Jeremy provides a corresponding PC pick. You can find us on bluesky at @cardscategories.bsky.social, @mcouill7.bsky.social, and @jbrewer17.bsky.social. […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Psst! This post is gonna list 2nd basemen that you should target in your 2025 fantasy baseball drafts. I’m whispering because you don’t want everyone to see this post. No, I can’t whisper louder, then it WOULDN’T BE WHISPERING! Okay, gig’s up (or maybe that’s jig’s up), the love I’m about to reiterately (Made Up […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Nationals OF Robert Hassell III is slashing .400/.447/.600 with a 15.8 percent strikeout rate and 174 wRC+ through 35 spring plate appearances. He’s been playing a lot of center field and might push Jacob Young, who has a 60 wRC+ through 26 PAs, for the opening day gig. Hassell III has been something of a . . . problem since he came over in the Juan Soto trade, just in terms of on-field outcomes, so there’s a vibes component to this decision. Would feel pretty good for everyone in the front office if Hassell III broke camp and played well early.
Please, blog, may I have some more? Here we go now! It is officially the start of my big time drafting season as I am sure many of you readers are also about ready to get down and dirty in the draft room. Last Monday we kicked off an industry-wide league on NFBC called TGFBI or The Great Fantasy Baseball Invitational. Tuesday […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Grey and B_Don continue covering the outfield rankings with 40 and beyond! There are some that we think could be potential league winners in this group that we really like. Meanwhile, there are some that we’re not even sure why they are ranked as highly as we put them, and sometimes, you just have to […]
