I hope everyone is finding their way through the injury minefield this week. Around every corner, there seems to be a sore shoulder, forearm, neck, or oblique waiting to lay waste to your best-laid fantasy baseball plans. The Razzball Commenter Leagues are both the easiest and one of the hardest leagues to recover from an […]

Welcome back Razzballeroos. It’s Tuesday, which means another dose of SAGNOF stolen base goodness coming your way before Truss tells me how badly I am doing in the Perts League in the RCL update. Last week, we looked at catchers to target when looking for stolen bases, and today we’ll take a flipside view and […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?We are somehow already a month into the 2025 season! It’s high time to update my top 100 outfielder rankings. These are rankings from right now going forward. Well, almost right now, the stats I reference are as of Sunday. The rankings are based on a 15 team NFBC league, I’ll throw in the change […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?We have a fun 10 game slate tonight on DraftKings. There are 3 exciting SPs that come with expensive price tags and 3 cheaper SPs I will be looking to roster. Personally, I use K/BB ratios and projected K/BB to hone in on the most viable SPs for the day. I also look at the […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?On this week’s Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast, Grey and B_Don talk about some of the top and under performers for the season so far. B_Don asks Grey, where are they now? Pete Crow-Armstrong has been phenomenal, but what spot does his current pace earn him in the ranks? I had a good intro for this […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?“What a bunch of ribbies!” I exclaim as the chef at Tony Roma’s doffs his chef’s hat. I then tell the chef that it should be RsBI because it’s runs batted in and I’m escorted out of the restaurant. Joke’s on you, my pockets are filled with corn niblets! Lucky I didn’t tell him RBI […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Happy Monday, Razzball faithful! I had a few ledes that I could have run with this week, but ultimately, I went with Hunter Brown because he’s been downright dirty. I mean…I knew he was on a heater, but this is pretty ridiculous. After his 7 scoreless innings against the Blue Jays last week, Brown knocked […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Welcome back, Razzies! I hope you’re having an awesome week. Myself? I’m dealing with a 7-year-old who just learned how much attention you can get by shouting swears non-stop. Fun! Except that’s not the word he’s saying. The best way to get people to think of an elephant is to tell them not to think of elephants. Us fantasy baseball writers do that all the time, except instead of elephants it’s “don’t draft catchers.” But I can’t stop talking about J.T Realmuto, you think to yourself. I still have a Willians Astudillo bobblehead. Don’t worry — if you can’t stop thinking about catchers either, I’ve got a recommendation below for you. On to the players!
Please, blog, may I have some more? After a week off to spend some much-needed time with the fam over Easter, I’m back and ready to get back to work. The last time we saw each other, we looked through a number of advanced analytics to determine which contributed best to scoring points. We did find one, remember “Kumite”? If not, you […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Eugenio Suarez went quad shopping on Saturday night, hitting his 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th homer (with 5 RBIs, and 1-for-3, 1 run on Sunday). Eugenio said I see your Mark Whiten and I’m hitting! Eugenio said you can call me Geno because you don’t SEE NO ball when I’m done with it! The last […]
Please, blog, may I have some more? There’s a few things to mention before we get into it this week. The biggest question marks going into Sunday’s action is who will take over open rotation spots for the Athletics, Blue Jays, and White Sox. For our purposes here, who they select really means nothing, because the choices are all distasteful. Do be […]
Please, blog, may I have some more? The past two weeks have delivered some of the biggest fantasy performances of the young season, but digging beneath the surface shows not every breakout is built the same. Guys like Pete Crow-Armstrong have turned heads with a barrage of steals, runs, and even unexpected pop. Meanwhile, health has aided guys like Oneil Cruz flashing the elite raw tools that made him a breakout darling. Early-season explosions are fun, but fantasy managers should be thinking two moves ahead. Is it time to trust these players as foundational pieces, or is the smarter play to sell high while the market is buzzing? In the breakdown ahead, we’ll highlight who’s a hold, who’s a sell, and who deserves a little more skepticism despite the gaudy box scores. It is time for a game of real or deal for this week’s hitter profiles.
