If anyone gets the D2: The Mighty Ducks reference in the title, brilliant! I went backwards today and wrote about the players I am focusing on below before this initial breakdown. I don’t want to write too much here, because my basic message is that I like the Cardinals and the Blue Jays tonight. I […]

The Jays put a hurt on the A’s like Big Hurt on the A’s hurting his legacy. I kid, nothing could hurt Big Hurt’s legacy. That’s such a great nickname too. Great nicknames are sorely lacking in baseball, and don’t call me Sorely. I tried with Cake Batter, but I’m the only one saying it. […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?In my younger days – yes, I’m an old fart, although I don’t yell “get off my lawn.” I just turn on the sprinklers – I’d get aggro over so many things. Someone cuts me off? I’d Bruce Banner my way into D-Fens. Player strikes out with the bases loaded? See remote here? SMASH! Remote […]

Please, blog, may I have some more?In our 93rd episode, Mike Couillard and Jeremy Brewer open by discussing Ronald Acuna Jr.’s return along with the news of latest injuries and roster machinations. Then we review eight young hitters that have performed at an elevated level in 2025 to determine the viability of their sustained production. Please, blog, may I have some more?“Curve, curve, curve, curve, curve, curve, curve, curve…” Lance McCullers Jr. continued for the next five hours saying, “Curve,” and when he finally finished, Dr. James Andrews asked, “Is that?” McCullers Jr. thought about it and replied, “Curve, curve, I think that’s it.” Dr. James Andrews nodded his head, taking notes and finally he looked […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?If you look around my minor league rosters, you’ll find a few organizations extremely well represented, especially the Red Sox, Brewers, Mets, and Dodgers. My favorite way to play this game is to identify competent developmental teams and lean into that. It’s not like I refuse to roster someone from a bottom-feeder; I just zoom in more closely on great organizations and give tie-breaker preference in that direction. Perhaps that understates the reality of how my rosters end up looking. For example, I have five minor league pitchers on my Razz 30 roster: three Red Sox (Yordanny Monegro, Juan Valera, Eduardo Rivera) and two Dodgers (Sean Linan, Christian Zazueta).

Please, blog, may I have some more?Updating things is often a struggle in Kelder Land. For work, I have been wearing polos and khakis now for over 20 years. My phone, no reason to get a new one unless the battery has gone bad. My truck is a 2008 Silverado. My marriage is 20 years old, but that’s a good thing […]
Please, blog, may I have some more? It’s funny Christian Yelich (2-for-5, 2 runs, 4 RBIs with a grand slam and legs) had a big game, because I was thinking about him yesterday. Well, his mom: Milwaukee is actually full of attractive mature women [image or embed] — Razzball (@razzball.bsky.social) May 27, 2025 at 2:20 PM So, Yelich hit his 10th homer […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?I hope our American readers all had a restful long weekend and kept our veterans in their thoughts (hopefully our non-American readers had great weekends too). Now is the time standings solidify, and you really need to take a hard look at those standings and decide where you can make moves, where you can trade […]
Please, blog, may I have some more?Hope everyone had a wonderful and safe holiday weekend. I’ve got a quick SAGNOF article for you on this post long weekend Tuesday. Today I’m taking a quick deep dive into Chase Meidroth. He was called up April 11th, and while playing sparingly to start, he’s locked himself into the lead-off spot for the Pale […]
